Yeah The A380 had wing cracking issues. It doesn't seem to be scaring passengers anymore.

I live about 400 miles to the Southwest and the rain has been coming down for days. Today is our first day with sun in about 5 days which is rare for living in a shrub-steppe area. The wheat has been loving the two inches of rain we have received!

I think this is problems with the engine supplier and not Boeing but since it is attached to the aircraft it is Boeings fault.

I loved when mesh terrain was used. I would download all the mesh that my computer could handle and I would fly all around the Cascades in Washington State.

Since the data is from flightaware only the flights that are over the US have the rapid updates.

We have a normal portable inkjet printer and wireless internet in the King Air which is mostly used by the passengers. Otherwise all our information is put on the 15" MFD in the middle with all the same information that this prints out. Interesting idea but I think it might be behind the technology curve.

It is a great site. I used this for all the students I had that didn't have a complete understanding of how the instruments worked.

Yeah, the A330 is a nice aircraft! I was reading the A350 is going to be going for even longer ETOPS ratings to connect some city pairs like the 787.

Have you had to reject a takeoff in the 330? My friend sounds like he's had a tough time in the 330. They've had a RTO one flight and a complete flameout a few weeks ago just as they reached cruise. He's been there for about a year in a half.

I have a friend who is an artist for video games and he has posted a few videos with these glasses. It would be great to have something like this. They say it is equivalent to a 90" screen.

Do you have low V1 speeds?

That is the cause of why they happened. The storms were dissipating because there was no more convection left and they all collapsed in a great rush of air downward. Almost sounds like a vertical Chinook wind caused by a storm.

I would think a balloon or someone ran into it on the ground. They said they were having adverse performance through the whole flight before this happened.

High speed RTO's are the scariest thing to do in aviation. Especially on short runways at MTOW.

I read about this when I was in Edmonton a couple months ago. Hopefully it works out for Porter because IIRC they were taking a big financial plunge to add them to the fleet.

Actual true multi-tasking, not a bar at the bottom that shows you which apps you have accessed recently. An example from work today. Me and the other pilot for the company were filing flight plans from our phones using email, web browser and the fltplan app. I was able to finish two flight plans while he had to wait for one app to load and then find information on the email and then reload information from the web browser that stalled because it was not in use. It's nice because the battery last long because of how little information is processing but when the job needs to get done the Android wins out.

Looks like they've finally caught up to 2008 with their design. Hopefully iOS8 comes out soon and we can get some useful multitasking.

By the time this is certified maybe they can begin to replace all the Embraer jets that beat them to the market.

I got a type rating for my park flyer too Sorry I'm loopy after spending 9 hours above 10,000 cabin altitude.
