Beautiful and remarkable... like many I never saw this one coming either. Yes, I feel an episode of Ice Pilots coming on.If you are going to be doing more of these please consider the Connie, argueably one of the most beautiful of piston liners.Kind RegardsButch

AIRCRAFT WISH LIST COMES TRUE
Awesome news... I have been waiting for KA in whatever form. (even if it was a Queen Air) I am hoping that once you have the experience in building the C90 your next project will be the 350 (ala Bonanza) Carenado are going from strength to strength, I am cheering you on. (one tiny request, could you please start including layered paint kits) CheersButch

Flight Model Opiniond/Thoughts?
Hi Gents, Matt, insightful and very informative post, much appreciated! To Carenado... the FM needs work gents. I do have to report that @ 100% fuel and 1050lbs of pax and cargo I stalled out at 60kts. I flew the approach by the numbers and flared 'ever so slightly' at 10' going about 80kts and it started climbing. The only way I got it to settle was to nose down and wait for 60kts then the stall horn sounded and it stopped flying. If I was light then, I suppose this would have stalled our at around 50/55kts? This appears to be no different from every other Carenado release and provided a patch is released then it should be all good. They always have and I am counting on it... If they could get this thing to fly (feel) anywhere near as nice as the Bonanza then it will be awesome but for now its a nice plane to look at. Regards,Butch

Speed & Temp Issues
Gents (and ladies) First of all, thank you for your fantastic work! The phrase "where so many owed so much to so few" springs to mind! Hehehe... Would it be possible for you to post the updated airfile and cfg entries so those of us who aren't 'worth a darn' at editing these things can be spared the ordeal.Again, thanks very much for your work.CheersButch

HD Bonanza - Developers Journal
Good evening gents, I've been working on improving the default F33A with HD textures. I have started a 'developers thread' over at Aussiex (www.aussiex.org) then navigate to the 'paint and aeroplane alley'. http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=5697Cheers,Butch

Losing power at relatively low altitude
Just did a test flight, spot on and thanks for that tip. Actually now that I did a more controlled test the performance getting to and at altitude was great. I guess I just needed to really pay attention to what I was doing. Butch

NEW PICTURES OF THE C208B GRAND CARAVAN
That looks GREAT! I am so looking forward to the Caravan. Just two things, 3D gauges and please, pretty please... can we have a layered paint kit? :(

Losing power at relatively low altitude
I posted about this as well previously... the problem I 'think' I am experiencing is at about 6-7000ft there does not seem to be not enough power. What MP pressure should you be able to hold at say 6000ft @ ISA? Butch

F33A BONANZA FSX SERVICE PACK 2 RELEASED
Just tried it and not that I ever flew a F33 before, but the FM is SO much more improved. TO is a lot better and the its a gem to flare now too. I do have a question... anything above say 6000 feet and it feels pretty 'wheezy'. I appreciate its not a Lear, but is that how its meant to be? Now if only they would release a layered paint kit 'multiply' is just so... argh!

Level of expertise
Dont need the FMS, just use old style radio navigation (VOR, NDB etc) and a map

Sensor Equiped Model Operating Weight
Thanks Vin, I've been having such a great time with this plane, its an all time favorite. I've also been having a great time painting it. I did a 'Bling 41' too hehehehe... for the silk shirt types. :( Merry Christmas mate, I hope you and everyone here has a great holiday and looking forward to the new year. Sensor Equiped Model Operating Weight
Hi Gents, I was hoping someone would know what the operating weight of the sensor equiped model was? Assuming there would be 2 pilots and about 4 crew in the back? One more question, I was hoping to get the pilots into airforce type overalls, does anyone know where the texture is? Thanks,ButchBTW - I am doing a low vis paint for a fictional RAAF AWACS for those who like to fly in circles. :( http://www.fsfiles.org/imagehost/uploads/1261536558.jpghttp://www.fsfiles.org/imagehost/uploads/1261558064.jpghttp://www.fsfiles.org/imagehost/uploads/1261607337.jpg

Painting the sensor equiped model
Amazing what 10 minutes and a glass of sav blanc does to focus the mind... I've worked it out.

Painting the sensor equiped model
Hehehehe... Hey Frank, I have dibs on a low vis Aussiex (AWACS type scheme) Ok? :( I suspect its tied to the rego, I have not tried it yet but I am thinking if you use all the CFG details HK entry it will show up...

Painting the sensor equiped model
Hi Gents, I'd like to paint the model with the sensor but having looked through both the aircraft and texture.cfg of the HKG model I can't tell how to point my textures to the model? It must be something simple which I have missed... any ideas?ThanksButch Menchaca

[J41] Some new Service Pack Fun
You guys rock! Like many others I can't pry myself off this plane. While you're pushing and pulling some polys could you do a cargo version with the windows blanked out? What if I asked really really nicely? Hehehehe... CheersButch
