  1. Did they ever tell how many copies of any of their products they sold? Or did any other Software house gave this kind of informations? I think that asid the first one all the other questions will never be answered even if i would like the 757 as welll:D After of course the 77-300 and 747 v2.

    Smoke effect

    THis is an aeffect that almost never appear to me unless the throttles are not fully in idle. Once i saw that smoke i zoom in near the tyres and saw that they were spinning.

Hi everyone, i am here to ask a strange question, In real life i am not a real pilot for work i only own a CPL and the biggest plane i piloted is a PA31 mostly i pilot a Pa38 or 28 so another world from the 777. My point is this for a good landing u need a perfect approach so that is what i do and till 5 nm to land all is perfect then i disengage Autopilot and manual pilot following the glide and of course the LOC. The main problem is this one when i hear the 40 feet i reduce power to idle start to level the plane waiting to loose speed and start to flare the plane to have a smooth touch down the result is that my landing Vs is usually around -130 -110-90-125 so i think it is pretty good. Here is my problem when i level off the plane at 40 and reduce power to idle the plane act like a Pa28. The huge wings still generate lots oflift and speed reduction is very slow so that the plane start to loose energy slowly and the plane touch down over the touch down zone. How do u usually land the plane in a way that the plane touch down in the right spot? To touch down in touch down zone i need to arrive a bit under the glide around 2 nm from runway so that the 40 call out is a bit before the touch down zone. But i dont know if it is correct actually i know it is not. So my question is How do u manage the landing in the last 5 Nm?

  9. I dont know if i uderstood the problem in the right way but in my case i open the GSX menu with CTRL+shift+F12 to avoid interactions with other stuffs

    RNAV approach

    Hi Everyone, What s the correct procedure to make RNAV approach with the 777? Imean LNAV AND VNAV Are engaged all disco in leg page deleted of course select a RNAV approach in DEP/APR page. But what i am askig is this aside VNAV and LNAV should i press Apr too or it is not needed? I rememebr in the 737NGX Landing on RWY 9 In Phuket I pressed SAPR and i had GP showed insted of GS and the plane started to descend like following a Glide. So i would like to know hw to fly a RNAV approach with the 777 thanks to everyone

    I would love not to have OOM only adding more RAM :lol: But i do agree 4 GB are not enough if u have a 64Bit OS better at least 8..since the OS will use already lots of RAM

  14. Hi Everyone, in the last 4 flight i am having this problem. Once i load the flight and insert altitude for cruise at FL390 and insert CI at 80 SID STAR and so on from whatever airport i leave i have that the first altitude is 170 knots. Th eplane climb and stop at 170K but in the climbing page there is written 250/10000 and climbing at 313 after it. In the LEG page of the FMC i read 170/FL349. I think it is pretty impossible a 777 fly at 170 knots at Fl340 since it means i have to keep flaps down till that altitude so i am forced to change the speed manually in the FMC in the leg page. THis happened leaving EFHK, same Leaving VTSP, Same leaving BIKF so it is not a costraiunt even if i am sure no airport and no sid have a costraint till FL 340. What happened to MY 777? And i launch FSX as Administrator and the panel state saved is long haul. And it happened only in the last 5 flights no other flights what i installed and disinstalled was FS recorder, nothing else, and i know it may be possible it is something i did but i dont know what The more at any flight in VNAV after reaching fFL 300 the speed commanded by the FMC is 220 knots so the plane rocket up and speed move down i need to climb in FLCH otherwise the speed is at the limit of the stall speeed. Shouldnt the VNAV prevent the stall? And more why if in the leg page there is not this value and in the climb page neither i do have this odd speeed? Thanks everyone.

    Trim always 2.75

    Personally my Trim setting vary from 2.5 to 2.75 and i find it correct.
  16. Hi Guys , I would be interested into trying this fix but i have some questions that are not clear. First of all i read that the PMDG 77L and fly tampas dubai reboot v2 do not work with this fix above allat night there are some problems with textures. Another question is once i aplly the fix if i wanna revert back to DX9 should i disinstall the fix or i can just disable the DX10 preview in FSX? Thanks
  17. Unluckly i do have some CTD with 777 too but fortunally not always, mostly on long hauls but on flights around 5-6 hours i am able to finish it.

  19. People complain Here ! I bought the Airbus A330 of BB i opeend ticket asked in frm and i still need an answer a product paid 45 and plus euro and still at version 0.66 and noone give u answers on post threads and so on. Same with CS 777 moths to arrive at version 1 then 1.21 and still full of bugs and it semms for them it is sucha wonderful perfect product that dont need anything else. At least i am able to fly the 777 without any major issue the warning light problem never had it even if i start in dark and cold. And other provlems about the the ilsfrequency before departing i press del and goes into park. Other problems of fix or hotfix will be appreciated but i am sure now it is perfect compared to many products that are already at version 1.7 or more. I have the Aibusx X it is released the SP then soon the day after the hotfix at the end u get lost .
  20. INteresting very interesting! But in my case i dont know what caused the problems. IF i understood right i should have put a derated teperature that is higher or lowe the flap setting. Flap setting was 5 and derated temperature was 33. Anyway i am sure the probem is about what u posted. So thanks again.
  21. the original assumed temperature was 33 degrees. And i didnt set it to zero pressed DEL button and then LSK1. Runway is 26L EDDP 3600 meter long. Temperature was 11 degrees. ZFW was 187000 KG FUEL was 105000 KG.

  23. Hi everyone, Lately i installed a livery form the OP. The livery is Aerologic ( ithink not the one form PMDG but one form avsim). Well during preflight i set all the FMC as usuall inserting the route runway in use SId start arrival runway and so on set the flex temp the flap to use and i was waiting for the allignment. After the FMC was alligned i had a message on the FMC refering the V spped were not aviable. I was thinking well it is not important i insert them by hand but actually any kind of speed i add i received an Invalid format or something like this message. What can cause the problem? To inset the speed manually i even tried to set the selct ref speed to OFF but nothing i put it back to on delete the value of flaps and flex tremp but again no speed aviable so i had to take off without setting the v speeds. What o wopder is , can a single livery cause the problem? and if yes what can cause it, if not why the FMC didnt calculate the V-Speeds? All discontinuity were eliminated weight were set ZFW and fuel. Cost index winds. temperature at cruise altitude.Sid and star runway in use wind for the runway accelration point and reduction altitude. I even tried to eliminate the flex temp thinking maybe the plane was not able to take off in flex temp. Was a flight from europe to thailand so i was thinking maybe the weight is too high and Flex temp is not allowed but nothing. Thanks to Everyone
