  1. I'd say you should wait too. Things coming from CS aren't ready until they're ready, and their estimations aren't exactly precise ;-).The quality of some of their finished products, the Herc comes to mind, are excellent, so the 757 may be a good one when it's finished. I bought it, but never use it because of the missing last block. If you chose to wait, you will be able to compare LDS, PSS and CS up agains each other and chose one of your liking. I didn't wait, my fault alright, but I feel kinda stuck ...Eagle

FSScreen is fantastic! Just place the .exe in any folder, start it, and each time you press PrtScn in fs a picture is placed in the very same folder :-).Eagle
  3. Yeah, pluss the efford ... and monitoring this thread ... in which I am spending my spare time right now :-zhelp .Back to my 19 inch F4 pilot career.Have fun!Eagle
  4. You guys must have too much spare time ...No offence intended ;-)Eagle
  5. And of couse, next time swap to nVidia, I did after getting tired of all the ATI driver problems. I had a 9800 Pro that was very ggod when it worked ... once in a blue moon. No such problems with the nVidia :-)Eagle
  6. If you really wanna have a ball, why not try the new Cloud9 F4f? Same league as the Marchetti, top notch fighter (which is hard to find in general).Nothing wrong with the Marchetti, everything from RealAir is good. Also take a a good look at Digital Aviation's Piper Cheyenne and Feelthere's Legacy!Good luck to you :-)Eagle
  7. It's the best military fighter I've tried so far in fs9! Poweful, speedy and manouverable
  8. Impossible, both are super addons! More work to do in the Legacy though. It has an FMC, and high speed makes things happen faster ovbiously. For some reason I fly the Cheyenne more often, but that's maybe because I'm more of a VFR "propellerhead".Tough choice, good luck!Eagle
  9. Agree, the PMDG 747 is fantastic! The ERJ 135 BJ LEGACY by Pilot in Command is also impressing in every aspect, and the VC is excellent. And if you wanna go for a non-Boeing tube-liner, why not take a look at the Super 80 from Flight1, very nice VC :-).Eagle
  10. If you can't just push the button in FSNav the normal way, it maybe just not possible, sometimes these 3rd party developers do things in a different way than the stock ACs. As for the climb you cold push the climb side of the ap pitch knob at sufficient climb thrust and adjust it until your'e satisfied with the speed (FD swithed on). However, the coolest things with this big old bird are NOT the ap and systems. Handflying and old fasioned navigation is what it's best at IMHO. Don't you wanna fly at all? ;-)Eagle
  11. >Yes, GE Pro provides sky rextures, in fact I have produced>over 300 in my Pro set-up. I really think Pro works best when>the custom ground and sky METAR 'generated' texture selection>work together. IMO.>>That is why I find it simple to just make a custom ASv6 'sky>theme' without including 'sky textures', and use that when>running with Pro.Thanks, very helpful. I think I'll stick to my method to avoid making themes, I kinda like the fact that the texture set is actually constructed based on the current weather. But just by updating AS first and then GEP, based on your info, I get the sky textures from GEP :-).Eagle
  12. Just remember that if you want different cloud textures for different weather types you have to click the Refresh button in ASv6 while FS is closed! Also, you must load a flight plan into it:In Active Sky:1. Options > Startup and General > Check "Start Paused"1. Options > Graphics > Check "Auto-Submit"2. Browse and select "Wx-Influenced" for both Full Sky Theme and Cirrus Theme3. Save and Close Options4. Click "New Route"5. Import flight plan > Select Speed and Cruise Altitude > Process6. Click Refresh button 7. WaitMaybe this should be done before starting GE Pro in order to get the GEP sky texture, I don't know if AS provides sky textures. This important if you prefer the weather-made textures both on ground and in the sky, which of course gives you the best match an most varied FS :-).Eagle
  13. >Hi Eagle,>>Wouldn't your process have AS6 over-write any FE Pro textures>(on the basis that the last loaded texture application will>prevail in FS)?>No, FE Pro doesn't excist yet, this is GE Pro (Ground Environment) which provides ground and sky (not cloud) textures, so it doesn't matter which one you start first
  14. >> How many Vcockpit sections does Cheyenne panel.cfg have?>>Only 1.>Sound promising, the instruments looks awesome, judged from the screenshots, and fantastic nightlighting too! Eagle
  15. >>Question to Cheyenne owners:>How many Vcockpit sections does Cheyenne panel.cfg have?>Yes, can someone make that count please, it's easy: Open panel.cfg and look for "VCockpit01", "VCockpit02" (in brackets) etc. and just count :-). More than two, and the "step-motion" starts:Fyi, some excamples:** (all newer), RealAir, Dreamfleet (B36, Baron), PMDG (747!, B1900C): 1 window :-beerchugFeelthere Legacy, Cloud9 MB399, default DC-3: 2 windows :-beerchugAeroworx B200, Flight1 Super 80: 4 windowsCS C-130: 11 windowsAerosoft A-10 (Worthhog): 14 windows!I don't now why I'm so focused on this, with relatively slow planes like these twin turbos you can make a fine instrument approach with say 4 windows like the Aeroworx B200, but it's definately cooler with RealityXP equipped 1 window VCs like Dreamfleets A-36 and Baron, which are totally smooth, or smooth MFDs in the PMDG 747 and Feelthere Legacy ...Eagle
  16. I used an ordinary newspaper weather forecast for this flight ;-)http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...37519&mode=fullJust picked the one city with the worst weather ...Eagle
  17. Your loss really! the purchase from Wilco went without any problems, and when it comes to forum, Feelthere has its own.As for the aircraft, it's amazing. If feels good to fly, and with the complicated systems and stunning VC it's by far the best Business Jet ever made for FS9! The VC is the best I've seen so far in FS, the gauges runs as smooth as your computer is up to (only two VC Windows, so please no more excuses about this being only possible with simple steam gauges). The clarity of every lables and text in the VC, MFDs included, is unbelievable if you chose "Clear Type" in the config tool.Eagle
  18. Hi,I just downloaded the latest ** P51, and it's outstanding! Only one thing I'd like to know:When trying to do hammerheads I always end up in some uncontrollable stall situation as soon as the nose points downwards. What am I doing wrong?Just to compare I took the old RA Spit for a ride, and the hammerheads went like a dream, even if I have to yaw right in the Spit, which I'm not that used to. Actually, loops and rolls was more fun in the Spit too. If the ** realism takes away the fun of flying the sim, I don't know how cool it is ...I don't mind practising tho, so if anyone could provide me with some info, I'd be most pleased :-).Eagle
  19. He, he funny analogy. Problem is you already have bought some Lego blocks, and without the rest of them you only have half a toy ;-).Looking forward to the next block, I think it's gonna be a very nice 757 ...Eagle
  20. If you just wanna have fun and realism is not all that important, you could do this: Get the Iris Mig29. Then if you happen to be the lucky owner of Reality XP's Sandell SN3308, replace the GPS window in the VC with it (bye bye realism). What do you get?1. A high performance fighter that flies very well2. Navigation tools, with GPS Flightplan display (I also swapped the default Garmin with an RXP530) and EHSI with everything you need3. Fast VC gauges an even a simple but readable and fast HUD. The VC is build in such a way that the Reality XP stuff runs totally smooth.Have a look at the VC:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/151141.jpgEagle
  21. Maybe if you just insert the url to the picture, no image tags, cause as it is now there's an extra image tag surrounding the one that works...Test:http://www.fspassengers.com/images/banner/sig/sdc4.jpgEagle
  22. People!I found Iris Flight Simulation Software after an announcement here at Avsim yesterday. Looks like their products are DSB-like but with what DSB totally lacked back then
