I fly in a fairly busy area (CYVR) and I have had more close encounters with birds than other aircraft. Mind you the birds in Canada aren't transponder equipped...Overall, for all the griping i see here, I am pretty darn excited about this. That is a shame, the AF F-18 is a beaut. I have flown the Freeware F-18 and it is great, but it is the Super Hornet, and I like the lines of the original.Flying off and on the carriers, I find the AF F-18 is much nicer all around the flight envelope.
