Goflight TQ6 reverse thrust
For those interested: I found a solution for this problem after toying around with FSUIPC. You can tackle my problem by creating two FSUIPC offset conditions, with the following changes to FSUIPC.ini My original lines in FSUIPC.ini for the reverse thrust buttons were : 21=RC,2,C65966,0 22=RC,1,C65971,0 And I changed these lines to: 21=W3330<5000 RC,2,C65966,0 22=W3332<5000 RC,1,C65971,0 This creates the offset condition that the thrust lever axis (separate lines for throttle 1 and throttle 2) output should be lower than 5000 for the button function to be called. Works like a charm now. Regards,

Goflight TQ6 reverse thrust
Aha, thanks. Is there a possibility to let FSUIPC only carry out the button press when the throttle levers are in a certain state (idle) ? Graham's solution is a bit awkward for me, because when I am climbing I just want to push the throttle all the way forward, without the risk of accidentally touching the reverse button and ruining the thrust setting. Cheers,

Hi Graham, thanks for your reply. How do you deal with the issue that the buttons are also pressed when you advance the throttle levers to full? regards,

Goflight TQ6 reverse thrust
Hi all, I am using my Goflight TQ6 throttle system with the NGX, and it works perfect on all axis, programmed with FSUIPC. My problem is that I can't find a way to program the reverse thrust. In the TQ 6 these are operated through buttons on separate small levers. When you pull these small levers all the way back with the throttle lever in idle position, the button on the small lever is pushed and reverse thrust is applied. So far, so good. The problem is that when I advance the throttle lever to full, this button on the small lever is also pushed, thereby reducing the throttle to idle, which is never a good thing during a climb... Has anyone found an FSUIPC solution for the reverse thrust button on the TQ6? Thanks in advance for your answers, Arjen Nederstigt

GoFlight not recognised
Hi all, I am just starting to experriment with LINDA, so maybe I am overlooking something. I have a Saitek Yoke and throttle attached, plus three GF modules: the LGT, a T8 and an P8. Only the Saitek yoke appears in LINDA. How can I make LINDA see the other devices? Best regards,

Any one running 3 monitors...How's performance?
I'm mostly at a steady 30fps locked, except at aerosoft EHAM where it drops to 15-20 fps with 100% traffic ( ultimate traffic 2 )On the smaller airports and in the air the experience is nice and smooth.(BTW, Do you guys have WideView = TRUE, because I don't really like the "smearing" effect in the peripheral vision when it is turned on, however the HGS is difficult to use with it set to FALSE, so I guess I'll have to live with it)Regards,

Reinstall after a couple of years absence
Hi all, I am returning to flightsimming after a couple of years absence. I would like to reinstall Radar Contact, which I own on CD. It is version 4.0 however, and I only see an install option for FS2004.Do I need to buy the software a second time or can I download an update and use my old serial number? Best regards,

Best custom rig for FSX?
If you are gonna use three screens, it might be worth considering getting a 3Gb GPU. And speaking for myself: I wouldn't invest money in a secondary SSD, a fast hard drive is just as effective and much cheaper. For the first drive I also have a SSD, I love the general speed when starting windows and applications, not sure if it really helps FSX though.Good luck with your new rig.

Landing the F-18 on a carrier is costing me a fortune!
Thanks for the info, now I will definitely buy it, the screens and videos of this plane look truly amazing. The hesitations that I had that kept me from purchasing this plane (the performance hit) are gone, I think hat my computer (see specs in signature) should be more than adequate to run it with acceptable framerates. Can't wait to see this beauty spread out over my three screens (that sounds a little dirty...sorry) Best regards and good landings,

Landing the F-18 on a carrier is costing me a fortune!
Thanks for the intel, I am glad to hear that there are no performance issues. Does the superbug come with its own carrier or do you need another add on for that? Regards,

Landing the F-18 on a carrier is costing me a fortune!
I am surprised that the VRS Superbug wasn't mentioned here. I haven't got it myself but it really looks good. I thought this was a PMDG level of quality add-on, so how come that so few people use it? Is it the performance hit?I'm interested in your opinions because I am looking for a really detailed fighter add on for FSX.Best regards,

Installing ASE on other hard drive as FSX?
Hi all, I would like to install ASE, but before I purchase I'd like to know if I can install it on my secondary hard disk, since I would like to preserve the (more limited) space on my SSD where FSX is installed. How would this influence the performance of FSX? Does ASE need a lot of reading/writing from the installation disk while in flight? Best regards,

FSX + possibly multi-LCDs, options for great visuals?
stigt replied to JSACKS's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcI have almost the same config as you and have no problems running 3840x1024 with a 3Gb GTX 580.Until now it wasn't necessary to overclock, but I haven't installed all my add ons yet.

Correct sequence for installing add-ons
I am currently setting up my new rig for FSX, and I would like to know if there is a special order in which to install add-ons to get maximum performance and minimum problems.Right now I have installed FSX gold edition, followed NickN's guide and run my config through venetubo. I have installed the PMDG NGX with EZdok and FSX global ultimate (Americas/Europe/Africa) and have a smooth running installation, externally locked at 30 fps.I would like to install the following add-ons:- Ultimate terrain X for America and Europe- REX- GEX- Active sky evolution- Radar contact 4- Nl2000 v4- Some add-on airports like Aerosoft EHAMWhat would be the best order or is it not important which add-ons you install first. Any tips in increasing the performance of these products? And finally: does anyone know of another "must have" add-on?Thanks in advance for your help,
