  1. Some people here equate freeware with payware, and yes, there are a few good freeware out there, but then we are reminded of what payware looks like.
  2. As usual, now that I'm beginning to learn & understand the DCD Concorde, and getting better at it, I'm hoping for a quality Lear 24 or 25 for my GA operations. Which airplane/airliner do you want next?
  3. I just recently downloaded their stable version from the site. Do I need this utility? Is there an update to the A320?
  4. I stayed away from those expensive airliners for P3D & XP11. After paying a reasonable $40 for the DCD Concorde for MSFS, I'll only consider an airliner if it's fairly priced and as much fun. Some here will still pay for QW 787, the PMDG fleet, or the new Airbus being developed and that's OK too.
  5. I agree! If you want the better airport, get the Macco's version and the freeware package you linked on this thread.
  6. I've watched this video, but have no idea if it's SOP:
  7. There was a time when Bijan was putting out updates regularly, hence the point of this thread. REX seems to take a little longer, but their UI is modern and their add-on seems much more complex.
  8. Sometimes I worry about you. 😀
  9. That was the point I was trying to make. There's already a very good scenery for Cancun that has the beach and hotels. Thankfully they are all in separate folders so I can update just the airport if I want a better looking airport.
  10. Give me a break! I'm still a rookie. 😀 I'm having a blast learning how to hand fly & using the AP. I'm also still trying to understand how to transfer the fuel and all other SOPs. I still have no idea of how to tune and listen to the nav radio. LOL On my last flight I had an issue where the NAV arrow in the HSI was pointing the wrong way. When on approach to TBPB, I was in AT mode, I put the visor down and got a low power noise. I had to disable Auto Throttle and add power manually. The ILS indicators did not show up on the HSI even though the correct ILS frequency was entered. Thankfully I use LNM for situational awareness an still managed to align myself with the runway and land safely. I'm having a "blast" with this add-on.
  11. Dillon, Do you have this already? Here are the features The most detailed replica of airport buildings and vehicles Custom surroundings All materials created for full PBR Shading and occlusion (texture baking) effects on all airport buildings High-resolution building textures Use of native, highly efficient gITF models Custom orthophoto for the airport and surrounding areas There are no pics of the surrounding area on the product page. Can you post a few? Thanks.
  12. Thanks. BTW, I had sent LimaJuliet, the developer of the freeware PHKO, to consider developing HI01, and I got a maybe response.
  13. I think that the hotels are part of the Cancun folder. The other airports are all separate. Update: I just checked and even the hotels are in a separate folder. I'm also now contemplating the Macco Sim version of Cancun. I have his UK airport and it's excellent!
  14. I pretty sure that they are all separate airports. I'm not sure about the hotels in Cancun. I can confirm if you want me to.
  15. Yeah. This looks so bad: https://fselite.net/content/orbx-announces-west-virginia-airport-for-msfs/ I'll take my chances with anything that ORBX sells because they have the best sceneries from the best devs for MSFS.
  16. Only if the Macco Sim version has the hotels at the beach. 😀
  17. I'm also blown out of my mind by this sim. I'm flying the DCD Concorde all over the world. In my years as a simmer, I've never had so much enlightenment with a sim.
  18. https://secure.simmarket.com/dxr-simulations-cancun-riviera-maya-tulum-holbox-and-chichen-itza-mexico-super-scenery.phtml
  19. Looks great a affordable. It's too bad I already have a payware of Cancun and I've only flown there once.
  20. You can't disregard ORBX. They have the best sceneries available for MSFS.
  21. I'm fully invested in MSFS and have deleted all other sims from my HDs. Where MSFS shines is in the world coverage of photo sceneries, the water is just fabulous, and most payware airports look amazing in MSFS. There are some amazing payware airplanes that are now available that will get you hooked right away. If you want a list, let us know. The "live weather" feature is still not consistently delivering the goods, the ATC is terrible, the AI traffic needs work and is neglected in every update. It's even hard to move the tug out of the way when your aircraft is parked at a gate. In other words, the ground services need work. This is another area that has been ignored by the ASOBO. I'll state this again, where MSFS shines is in the scenery which is where their focus has been since day one., ASOBO needs to start focusing on the core sim and stop pushing payware add-on airports.
