Voices: We are experimenting with synthetic voices. They've reached the point now where they sound about 95 percent human, so we decided to take the chance and make the leap. We never used them in the past because they sounded terrible, but now they're sounding pretty good to they point where I can accept them and they don't irritate me. MSFS uses the same ones. The main advantage is we can change the software, procedures, checklists, etc., very, very fast with them. If we use human voices, it's a much bigger hassle, and if one artist's voice changes or they disappear, etc., then everything goes to pot and can't update the software. We however know that make everyone happy in FS is a tough game. So we're developing a tool to allow users to create and distribute their own human voice sets very easily. ETA on that: Soon. However, the same problem exists. We update the software, make a big change, they have to record again. Airline call signs: We're releasing a hotfix today with more of them added. It's a known issue due to recent changes made to the FBW aircraft. We updated PBE and fixed the issue, and we will be releasing that update asap. Aiming for this week.

For Fenix, we're using latest Airbus SOPs.

Rudder control is inop with the Fenix, because the Fenix is doing something very non-standard with the rudder. Basically in the Fenix we can't read the rudder. Therefore, in the Fenix, please use Distance Mode. Distance Mode is the best mode anyway so it allows you to plan your push.

The Fenix version will have the new SOPs and checklist. Then we'll try to port that back into the FBW.

You'll see the big changes in the upcoming Fenix version 😉

Hi Frank, Please post in the new forum: https://forum.fs2crew.com/ Make sure that "use elevator" is unchecked on the PBE Setting setting panel. Problem with Dev version is can literally change everyday. Try it in Button Control to ensure it's not a simple voice recognition issue (you can also check the voice log to see what phrases were detectd).

FS2Crew Friends, Big news! We are now in the process of transitioning to our new support forum at: www.forum.fs2crew.com We love Avsim, but alas all good things come to an end... While Discord has pivoted to become our main form of communication (our Discord channel is vastly more active than our Avsim forum), we still need a traditional support forum because, well, not everyone likes Discord... namely, people like us old geezers who are still living in the 90s who still haven't gotten over the fact that sim titles these days don't come with 300 page paper manuals anymore 😉 Also, we have multiple new products coming on-line for MSFS, and it's hard for us to impose on Avsim whenever we need to create a new product sub-forum. We'll keep this forum alive for the next couple weeks so people have time to become aware of the move, then this forum will transition to a user to user forum on Avsim. In the meantime, we ask that you start positing in our new support forum. It's a very nice forum. In fact, we're using the same forum software as PMDG, so you should all be familiar with how it works!

Correct... there should also be a short cut link on your desktop.

It sounds like a keyboard conflict. Try re-assigning the keys used to open the FS2Crew panels to something different.
