My E8400 is running stable at 3.9 with just a small voltage bump. I did upgrade to an aftermarket cooler (Zalman 9700) just to be safe though. Temps never go over 42c at full throttle. Idle is between 30 and 32. Maurice

Nhancer
Nhancer will not work with the latest nvidia drivers. The latest set it will run on is 197.45. That is what I am running with my setup with a 9800GTX.Maurice

Computer shutting down
Sorry I wasn't more clear on what specs I was asking for, I meant the power supply make, model and power ratings etc. I've seen many power supplies from off brand companies overstate their ratings. In any case a good cleaning with a can of compressed air is also a good place to start as previous posters have already stated. And keep in mind that even top quality power supplies can still go bad. Sporadic shutdowns such as yours will take a little troubleshooting. Good luck.Maurice

Computer shutting down
First thing I would check is the motherboard battery. I had the same problem on a previous computer and after replacing the battery everything was fine after that. Next thing would be the power supply. What are your specs there? An overtaxed or aging power supply could be the culprit. Barring these two solutions nothing else comes to mind right now.Maurice

Finally a working POSKY PSS merge
- The fresh released POSKY B747-8F
I sure wouldn't mind having a copy of those effects also.Maurice- World of AI + Windows 7 (x64)
Remember J.R. only mentioned FS9. No need to convert bgl's. I checked my add/remove listing and .Net 1.1 is installed so go ahead and run the EditVoicepack installer. It will prompt you with a web link to download and install the correct .Net app before you can complete the installation. WOAI will install just fine as Dean said in his post.Maurice- World of AI + Windows 7 (x64)
I'm running Win 7 x64 and had no problems installing World of Ai and also EditVoicepack for fs9. I don't remember right now but I believe that when installing EditVoicepack for fs9 it will prompt you to download and install the correct .Net app. I will check my add/remove list when I get home to see if it is installed or not as I am at work now.Maurice- What happended to Project Airbus ?

I never tried out the wingflex update so i can't say. How about letting us know how it works out for you. Just remember to back up your files first.Maurice- Nav lights on the update for the Posky 757-200

To belga1 - I have never had any of the problems you are having with the bat file. I have been using it for at least a couple of years now with no problem and my system specs are similar to yours -P4 3.4 2GB PC3200 mem. even though I started using the file from back when I had 1GB of memory. Then again I also use Enditall before starting flight sim in order to free up as much resources as possible.Maurice- Want just a little more oomph from your PC?
>My experience has been that anything you can do to free up>more resources for the sim is worth doing.>>Shutting down unnecessary services using EndIt All or>FSAutostart is a good idea (in my opinion) and you may also>wish to create a Boot profile which you would use when you are>going to be simming only.>>The following link will take you to the Tutorial I wrote>several years ago on that subject. It is easy to do and makes>a considerable difference on my setup.>>http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...=root&Go=Search>>Hope this is useful.>>>>Not knowing when Maurice will stop by again, here is the process in a little more detail:Navigate to your main Flight Simulator folder (the one which has all of the subfolders for Aircraft, Addon Scenery and so on).Right Click on an empty space and select New from the Menu which will display and then select Text Document.Copy the following line and Paste it into that New text document:start /high fs9.exeNow Save what you have done using the Save As command - naming the file StartFS2004High.batAlternatively, you can just save the file and then rename it afterword. The key thing is to change the extension to .batNow Right Click on that bat file and select Create Shortcut. That will create a Shortcut to the bat file.Copy or Move this shortcut to your desktop. When I put it on my Desktop I renamed the shortcut to read Start FS2004 High.If you have done all this, when you now click on the Start FS2004 High shortcut (or whatever you may have named it) FS2004 should start and start with HIGH priority.Hope you can follow these instructions without too much trouble.David "Opa" MarshallIn reply to the previous poster further up the thread about the missing attachment I don't know why it showed up like that as i didn't send any attachments to my original post. Anyway a thank you to Dave for explaining the procedure in more detail. I also use Enditall with the batch file and do notice enough of a decrease in stutters with my frame rate locked at 35.Maurice- Want just a little more oomph from your PC?
I have been using this .bat file to start fs9 for a while now. Just enter in a text file start /high fs9.exeand save it as a .bat file. Put it in your main flight simulator 9 folder and save a shortcut to your desktop. Use the fs9.bat shortcut to start flight sim in high priority every time. I take no credit for this as I got this tip from these forums quite some time ago.Maurice- Final Airbus Overland FDE update

Just finished a test flight with it and I didn't notice any hit on performance and no blurries either. It really is a big improvement over the default. Go ahead and try it out. The download comes with the default texture in a backup folder.Maurice- FS Slowdown with Moving Map Program
Rana, I just posted a reply in your forums regarding the beta version. This is for the folks over here to let those with the same problems know that the FPS drop is a lot less than before. Maurice- FS Slowdown with Moving Map Program
I'm getting the same FPS problems regardless of whatever aircraft I am flying. Also using fs autostart but I converted my map files to .gif format as Matt Fox suggested. I also am using 2 monitors off of one video card. Systems specs areP4 2.8 at 3.11 Gig Pc3200 ramXFX 6600 GT Will try your beta version and see how it goes. Should the images be converted back to .jpg or left in .gif?Maurice- Fokker 100 for FS2004...Great!
Thanks for the reply. I already figured it out exactly as you had said and took it for a quick spin around MIA with no problems.- Fokker 100 for FS2004...Great!
The installer does not give you the option to install to a temp. folder and transfer files manually like I did in version 1. Does it overwrite any pre-existing files in the flightsim folders? - The fresh released POSKY B747-8F
