Hi I have noticed that some parts of the VC are flickering , not noticed this before as I'm normally a 2D flyer for Airliners but now I've a PC fast enough to handle the VC I thought I would give it a go . Any one else noticed this ? Thanks Rich

Same here ..plus the Altitude setting window flickers a little too

I take it you have fixed this by now ..but to others with the same problem you may need to install it in safe mode , I had the same problem and rebooting into safe mode then running the installer worked .

Dam I thought as much ...would it still work if I backed up the PMDG module file first ? As some on else suggested that but thought I would ask on the official forum first . Thanks Rich

Hi I'm trying to track down a course error with KSEA ...the 777 is auto tuning but the course display is wrong ..I'm seeing /-17 for all three 34s ..34L 34C and 34R ..the 16s are fine and showing 163 as per charts ., does it get this info from the scenery files or nav data ? Thanks Rich

Make sure your MAGDEC file is in the correct base folder under Scenery ..I had this the other day after I put the file in it's own folder and made it always at the top in the scenery list thus removing it from the base scenery folder , when I put it back every thing was ok .. I even had the 0 deg mag var like you in the FMC ..I use the 2010 MAGDEC file for flights in the US and 2013 for the UK . Rich

Hi As the header says , I already have the 747 and MD11 installed but would also like to install the 737 as well ( not used in in a few years since I had the IFLY) ..would it be ok to just install it or do I need to uninstall the others first (hope not) ? Thanks Rich

If you run FS In windows XP compatible mode you loose the weather radar under Windows 7.. ..also make sure you select 20 miles or above on the ND .

Running 2.2A ..I some times get a crash during a 2nd leg flight ... FS9 and windows 7 64bit

Hi Use the 2010 file for USA airports and check that the Airport AFCAD file has the correct VAR set which is 12.8E under 2010 .. on approach the final app track should be 250,.. some Add on NDs display TRACK north or HEADING north ... if yours has HEADING north then it takes into acount the wind so the runway heading is 250 but you could be heading 245 due wind but tracking 250 ... i have TRACK north selected on my 737 ND . Hi I have been getting back into flying the Wilco Airbus plus Evo upgrade ... one thing i noticed is that FS2CREW is using the wrong QNH setting at EHAM ... its using the American version and not European . EG using A29.92 not QNH1013 etc . Rich

Hi Im Crashing also inbound to EHAM , 3 times i have tried and three times it crashed after the decent check list . Rich edit would a work around be to skip the decent check list going into EHAM or any other Minus elev Airport? or do we need to run it ?

i was going to get this until i found out theres no ADF... i used to use the DF BE58 till i got Windows 7 64bit so the GPS wont work . real Shame .. whats Carenado said about this ?

The main button has been changed hence why the old key wont work . Rich The main button is now the ......Alternate Static Source on/off... have a look in the voice control section of the IFLY version for update list and changes

Hi First of all you wont regret it ...been using ASE for a good few weeks now heres just a few things i like but check the web site for more info . The lay out is better with more options to get the weather how you want it, the weather engine and updates are so much better then in AS6.5 , you can add new stations, for example UK2000 have brought out some Doncaster Airport scenery ... using active sky 6.5 the weather that it set would be from the nearest station so not always correct if at all as Doncaster isnt included but with AES you can add Doncaster so you get the correct weather , infact you can update / add or remove stations , airports and nav aids as you see fit , there is a cool map were you can view the weather and airports plus see your route on the map if you have set one , you can refresh the route now on the go which is some thing you could not do on AS6.5 so you can always see the latest weather at your arrival Airport ,going back to the weather engine it now uses some thing called advanced interpolation at stations were theres no weather reported , what this means is the program will use four nearby stations to work out what the weather should be at the station thats not reporting weather ... this works quite well , but been a few times were theres been rain were i live (Plymouth) but dry in the sim but cant be helped . all in all its far better then AS6.5 , by the sounds of it 6.5 is coming near the end of its life so cant see any of the server problems fixed , when i brought ASE i wondered why i did not get it earlier . i do miss the overcast feature from 6.5 as i think 6.5 is better for overcast skys :( but dont let that put you off .
