Hi all, Tried to get the file from 2 shared but it would only let me download all the bolt on programs, archiver etc. So would someone let us know when the file is available in AVSIM library. Plus the other mentioned program for the mip mapping utility, gives a link to get the required dll's, which goes to Yahoo and requires that you sign up for Yahoo and BTInternet services. Is there any alternative for this one? Regards JohnT

Hi folks, D/L Aerosofts Yekaterinburg and decided I needed some Russian scenery to go with it. Visited AVSIMRUS and D/l some of their offerings. UUDD took some sorting but finally got it to work. The point of this post though, is to mention this offering of UKBB Kiev/Kyiv to be found at http://interskystudio.info/ukbb2012_fs9. Freeware, but donations accepted and at first sight , warranted. Hi all, Wonder if anybody has found a way around the following problem I'm having? Recently suffered a complete Win7 OS crash. After re-installing the OS, find I have lost all my links etc. On trying to use my account at SimMarket, I find I no longer have the passsword. It seems to be that to contact SimMarket your EMail address is not sufficient, you need a password . On requesting a new password, I'm getting the message a new one has been issued, but no EMail is being recieved and I am stuck in no mans land. Is there no other way to contact this vendor? OK Brand new - Instant Object Studio - just got it, very impressed and support second to none. Couple that with Instant Scenery and AFX all compatible with each other then go and make ad hoc scenery to your own taste. JohnT

Problem resolved, i think. Turns out, I had lc for the first character of my forename and UC for the first in my Surname in my F! account and I was putting in UC in both instances. Jeez don't life get complicated. Regards JohnT

Hi all, Wondering if anybody has managed to download this program from Flight1 to-day. Reason, I've been trying all day and keep getting knocked back with invalid Account EMail/Password problem. Have checked by logging into my account using another Computer, nothing wrong with either of the above have sent a ticket which has had no response. I would try to D/L on my other computer, but as the license is tied to the M/C its D?L on that's no use to me. Regards JohnT

OK , some further data. To-day made a separate traffic.bgl, thereby ruling Traffic2005 out of the equation.It only contained FP for the one of the UTT planes plus Elvis B707 repaint and both AIA_dc_8_71 & 73 repaints. Added to this FP were two planes I knew could be displayed. On boot up all that appeared were the two planes I knew were good. But here it gets a little more confusing, I added the base model paint planes to the flight plan and this time on boot up, in addition to the two former planes. The base model I had selected for the Elvis model also appeared. I give up, life's too short. Regards JohnT

Hi all ,I have posted this query on the UTT forum, but in case no-one there has tried this or they do not have T2005. Thought I might as well try here for a solution, cast the net wide so to speak. The mate and I have spent all afternoon trying to get T2005 to display this model irrespective of which livery we choose from Saudi/Aeroflot or Skylease variants. The plane and Livery's is installed correctly and if selected in the Aircraft drop down (menu Bar), can also be selected as the operating plane and viewed in spot view no problem. But no matter which AP/Time of day etc T2005 will not display them.They have been added to the aircraft editor with no problem and show as being selectable when creating flight plans, the plans compile with no problems but the planes do not appear irrespective of any time we select. Anyone got theseto work with T2005, it's got us baffled? Regards JohnT

Hi RTH, if, as I suspect you have a lot of scenery to install for FS9. Then may I suggest, seeing as it is basically a new install, visit sourceforge and download the latest version of SceneryConfigEditor. Once you have that set-up its a doddle to add scenery and fault find afterwards. I have not used the MSFS scenery library for several years now, for adding or moving scenery about. For example it takes me 5-10 mts to deactivate/reactivate 700 scenery files, try that with the stock system. Regards JohnT

Hi, I was the OP mentioning the MEastern scenery problem. Sorry cannot remember the exact scenery, but think it may have been some to do with Egypt and/or Jordan. This problem manifested itself whilst flying a PMDG737, the ND track display instead of being North was skewed and the plane symbol was also at some strange angle. There were some aircraft where this effect didn't appear. But in the PMDG the plane was flying arcs between waypoints. If you have the SceneryConfigEditor installed and set up. Then it's a simple trial and error procedure to identify the culprit. Initially dis-enable all scenery, excepting default of course. Set yourself up in the Cesna at EGNS for e.g and fly to EGGP, then try the same flight using a sophisticated plane, PMDG737. If you now dont have the problem, try repeating the flight in which the problem became apparant, all should be Ok. Now the tricky bit, particularly if you dont have SCE or similar. You will know which scenery you have had for a long time with no problems, so you can now go ahead and re-enable those. Try the last flight again just to ensure, the problem has not returned and then gradually re-enable the remaining scenery. As I ,over the years have had numerous problems I have a saved "Default Startup" situation saved as above ( Cessna/EGNS/clear skys/no traffic). Which I invoke whenever I'm putting new scenery or planes etc into FS and this is made to be the default flight.This ensures that if anything goes badly wrong with the new Install and FS shuts down at least it will start up again to allow investigation and i t only adds a few minutes to then goto where you want. Thanks Lads, after much re-naming and poke and hope. We managed to get the Aardvark "Nigerian texture" one to show and via T2005 have implemented it into the scenery. But try as we might, we cannot get the Malcontent one to show. We have had it displayed without textures, but as soon as we try to add the "Nigerian" text file. One of two things happen, FS Crashes or no textures displayed. We'll have another go to-night, with ref to Mels comments above, assuminhg the mate's patience holds out. Hi, trying to populate a new version of DNAA that a mate and I have done. In order too make it realistic decided to build up a fleet of Nigerian Air planes . Iv'e found plenty of 737's and installed them via Traffic 2005. But I wanted something a bit larger, i.e 767 etc. After much searching found the aim_b762 and a texture aim_762_nigeria. Installed this and modified the .air file using Aired in order to see it in the aircraft selection drop down. At first it showed but no textures visible, then FS9 crashed. On reboot I could not see it in the aircraft list and after several re-installs gave up. I then tried the Aardvark version, downloaded the aia762ge.zip alongwith the aia_b762ge_nigeriaairways.zip. First off installed the aia762, again modified the .air file, but it doesnt show in the drop down listing. Also noticed that the .air file is shown as aia_767_300_ge.air, On opening the Nigerian Texture file the FlightSim entry states sim=aia_767_200. Question is, which is right, the Blank Aardvark file which is allegedly for a 762 or the texture file? Regards Johnt

Hi Joe,You are right, there was nothing wrong with that model. Inserted it - rebooted -and it appeared in all it's glory c/w rotating scanner.Many thanks for that, no mention in the Manual, that some objects need this action , that I can see.Just found one other annoyance, got to reposition the Tower in World Map everytime I boot-up, else the view point is about 500 yds from where the tower is in the scenery and behind a skyscraper.Does not seem to respond to TView position as set in AFX, no matter which combination of AFCAD editoors we use.This is the last piece of work I'm doing on this AP and even though I say it myself, and the mate concurs, it's pretty impressive day or night. I have so many libraries, plus duplicates, I seem to have forgotten this one..I v'e found all the items as you suggested in the generic library, but the radar shack.bgl seems to be corrupted or there's something else wrong.You mention ADE9X, just as an aside I downloaded,ade_150 from their site do you know if the action you mention above is possible with this version?The reason I ask , is , I already have AFX and AFCAD2.2 and really do not feel up to doing another steep learning curve just to place one item of interest

Hi all,I'm in the middle of modifying a previously modified version of this AP.This is being done using Flight1 IS and AFX for FS9. On initial start, I excluded all stock objects.But noticed three items still appeared, alongwith the stock Taxiway signs. I managed to get the taxiway signs excluded , but only by using IS, with the stock AP activated and creating a new FNLUStock.bgl. Using the same method I excluded the remaining three items.Now to the crux, as I like the look of those three items, I would like to re-instate them, but, move them to a new location. Reason being the VOR station as of now is too close to the new taxiway and the other two are buried in Autogen scenery to the side of the AP.Alternatively can I be pointed to a library that contains these items. particularly the animated ILS unit.

Just for the Dumbos amongst us,What are the rules? There seem to be so many, which ones are applicable to closing RWY's?Sorry to be so pedantic, but would love to nail this down.Regards Johnt

Hi again,I don't use MS ATC, but use RC4. Not tried it out yet.But in the light of RJ comment above, wonder if I run Make RNWY with a version of AFCAD installed that doesn't have the additional. Then install the modified AFCAD. That problem wont occur for the programs using Make RNWys database, such as RC4 and FSCaptain, same principal for FSCommander.Just a thought, not instigated yet.Regards JohnT
