  1. My Slew mode has always done this as well. I just gave up and dont use it. The aircraft doesn't go wild, it just shoots off in whatever direction its facing.
  2. A couple quick shots of a repaint I'm working on for the Realair Legacy!
  3. I am! Though it's not super accurate. The teeth are a different shape and count. I see why no one has painted the Legacy right up by the spinner on the underside...it's a real booger to align with the sides!
  4. Just a couple quick work in progress shots of N181AM.
  5. Hey everyone, Thanks for the comments. Went camping so I wasn't able to reply. I only use the following addons: pmdg 737ngx rex for weather and textures orbx pacific northwest and a little photoshop
  6. Just a few NGX shots I took on a routine flight!
  7. Can almost see my house!
  8. I thought I'd share a little progress...though I found a cross section of the fuselage, so I'll likely start over and rebuild with the correct section.
  9. I would be willing to share but I know from past forum reading that Gulfstream is very sensitive about people modeling, and distributing their aircraft hence the funny thread topic. I'm currently building a G150 as well I'll post pics of that one as well. I think I may try to do a nice high quality freeware plane soon. I'd want to partner with someone who can do a quality air file and help with changes.
  10. I'll be wanting to export my models to FSX. What is the program that most developers are using? Rhino has no direct control over meshes, you can only she the mesh size on export (more or fewer polys)
  11. I use Rhino, it's nurbs modeling, but can export meshes. However I can learn any CAD software fairly easily.
  12. I have no intention of ever releasing this to the public, but I thought I'd share it with you. It's not super accurate. But it's alright for a first pass. I really have no idea how to put it into FS, I'd like to learn that part so I can create some high quality models for everyone. I'm just a CAD modeler.
  13. I LOVE QW757. Right now I'm debating whether to buy the QW 146, or the NGX series....I'm only interested in the 600/700 though, so that will be an expensive purchase.
  14. Thanks for all the comments guys, didn't know they were building new Twin Otters either!
  15. Hadn't taken my Twin Otter out in a long time so I took it for a short spin.
  16. Love the streaks on the engines, is this in the paintkit or added?
  17. Great Scenery!
  18. Here are a few more. AA 757 at PDX. Icelandair starting it's long journey home from Seattle.
  19. Thanks again guys, its a combination of REX textures, and Active Sky X. Love the sensation of speed that the fog creates.
  20. thanks guys! The atmosphere was just fantastic!
  21. Just a couple from today's flight. Qualitywings 757, and Orbx Pacific Northwest.
  22. I think good graphics are key to the users immersion factor. It's what helps it feel real to me and not stale. When I compare flying in FSX to real world flying, flying in FSX even over great scenery such as Orbx still feels stale, and dull to me. For me a lot of flying is about managing the aircraft's system and the actual flying of the plane, the other half is enjoying nature, and the views that only flying can provide. They're both very very important I enjoy both the qualitywings 757 type of experience, and the PMDG one. Sometimes I just want to load a flight plan and go. Other times I want to pretend to be a real pilot, and manage the aircraft. In both cases the immersion is so critical. I think an aircraft with excellent visuals, and medium to medium high system simulation is a good balance. At the same time smooth performance is key to the enjoyment and immersion of the sim.
  23. Must be one of those new anit-gravity 737s!
  24. Just one quickie! and a link to the full size! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v505/Marc985/FSX/2012-11-17_10-19-48-829Panorama.jpg
  25. I leave it off as well...as well as aircraft stress causes damage. There have been many flights where I have crashed due to FSXs rediculous wind shifts. I'm using ASX with wind smoothing on and I still get the ridiculous shifts.
