evanxmcr, I don't know the solution but only to say I too had my aircraft sinking into the ground instead of the crash routine. It does not happen always in a bad landing but sometimes. Shri
  2. I am not a real pilot but I can add to the comment Shyluk had made. He is right when he said
  3. If the world was flat in FS9 I never came across a 'world's end' while flying! Shri
  4. I had downloaded the latest release of Super Flight Planner 4.0.5 by Alessandro Antonini from the AVSIM file library and there is a bug in the program and the flight planner does not work. There is an 'Infinite loop while scanning scenery .bgl' when running the database wizard. This same flight planner can be also be downloaded at the creator's website http://www.cpinf.com/news/super_flight_planner where the same problem has been announced by many but still not fixed. I actually re-downloaded here thinking it was a bug fix version since Alessandro Antonini's Super Flight Planner was released to AVSIM only recently but realized it was the same unusable version. Please don't get me wrong I am criticizing the product in any way, the Super Flight Planner is an excellent freeware utility but new version has a serious bug to be fixed until then is unusable.RegardsShri

Hai quayleIf you mean bouncing on landing then it is simple physics that you are landing hard. You are landing with a high descent rate. Greater the descent rate the greater would be the impact and if it exceeds the weight of the aircraft would get back on air again and the same would continue until impact on the ground is less than that of its weight.RegardsShri

Hey FSX MissionguyHow do you get the AVG to ingnore scanning FSX folder? Thanks in advance for anyone.RegardsShri

  8. > One question for public - Are you need in this addon ?Answer: A BIG BIG BIG YES!!!YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESRegardsShri :-)
  9. There is nothing new about this freeware. It is an old FS2004 stuff. It possibly is a good stuff but took all of us for a ride making us believe it was a new FSX stuff!!@$^%%&^*((%^$RegardsShri
  10. Is this an FS2004 (FS9) aircraft or for the FSX?RegardsShri
  11. Can anyone clarify whether we can use SID and STARS (approaches and departures) along with FSX ATC? How compatible are the SIDs and STARs with FSX ATC as it is the ATC in FSX which dictates our approach out and in of airports. From about 70 miles away from the airport until ATC gives the heading to intercept the ILS it is the ATC that dictates which heading we should fly and the altitude. So where does SID and STARS come into the FSX ATC system?Even when departing the airport no sooner the Ground control hands over, the first instruction is to turn heading
  12. Life has more questions than answers dear! So there is nothing to feel bad about, and we all are in the same boat!:-beerchug Shri
  13. What you refer is version 1.22 the second release version. We were told about version 2 (the 3rd release) with more improvements. The developer did not provide a link to download it. He only announced about the verson 2 as far I can rememeber.RegardsShri
  14. What has happenned to the 'EZdok_walk_camera V2'? We were told that the developer has in his possession the V2 ready to be released and there was lots of wind, music and fanfare in the forums and then a deafenning silence with non news of such a release. So was of a another utility program called 'fs water configurator' which the developers told they are burning the midnight oil to release it but still no news. We all got excited that we all are in for a pleasant treat and all has died down.Does anyone know what has happenned? RegardsShri
  15. What are the coordinates to the Mount Everest peak?Shri
  16. Hey Barry The Everest in the scenery folder contains BGL files numbered 1 to 5 in the part 1, and in part 2 the scenery folder contains the BGL files numbered 6 to 10. Little common sense tells me to rename the main folder which you are going to place in the Addon scenery folder of FSX to 'Everest' deleting the 'P1'component of the name and then paste the part 2 Everest scenery folder into the FSX/Addon Scenery/ Everest / scenery folder then you will have all the 10 parts in one single folder and then it is easy to work and activate only a single folder and you need not worry about which gets priority. As to your other question of Frank
  17. Hey ClaytonYou are going back to FS2004, but I am going back to Flight Simulator 95 released about 10 years ago because that gives 100 frames per second and FSX gives only 20 frames per sec :-lol Just joking :( Shri
  18. >And DisKeeper is free.......Is it so, I checked the official site and Download.com and informed "Free to try; $29.95 to buy. Limitations: 30-day trialRegardsShri
  19. Dear Marniftarr Have you released the 2nd version and if so where can I download it? If not released then when do you hope to release it as I am desperately waiting for it. :-rollerRegardsShri
  20. So where do I download it?Shri
  21. Odosim Thanks for your painstaking reply. I usually at the final, change to 2D panel and use the w key to rid of the panel, which I don't need as I have the important aircraft information on the top of my screen by shift Z key all the time, and now I have good view outside for me to land. So this is not a problem to get me landing but I would like to have the feel I am inside the cockpit especially during taking off and landing. However I think other option is to elevate your seat which I have to try, and how do you do that? RegardsShri
  22. Hey PaulYou said "Frankly, I'd pay for it"Do not give ideas and corrupt freeware developers :-(Shri
  23. It is always nice to land in the VC mode but I cannot see properly ahead of me as the panel blocks the terrain ahead. I can only see the runway when I bring the nose down and this is not a realistic practice.I usually land with 'no panel' having the important instrument data printed on the top of the screen by using the shift z key. How else could I have the VC mode during landing which would have a more realistic feel? RegardsShri
  24. You said it Clutch. I too have not uninstalled the FS2004. (I even have your Kai Tak scenery). I have a massive hard disk space so I am not pressed to uninstall the FS2004. I have both versions still in the hard disk.Provided our friend from Down Under had good hard disk space he should not have ventured to uninstall FS2004 but should have had both and later decided whether to uninstall FS2004 or not. May be his computer hardware not be that powerful to take on FSX and then he still has the FS2004.I too could not run FSX until I had to upgrade my computer to core2 duo 2.2 speed. So in a way Barry was not brave but reckless! Of course this does not apply if his hard disk capacity did not allow for both versions to sit in. Then I apologize. RegardsShri
  25. Thanks Manny for your reply. I flew the default 747 'as it is' and fuel at the time of the final procedure was 91%. I flew default 747 the way it loaded off the DVD without any change so the weight of the aircraft is known to you even though I am unable to calculate it. So now the variables are limited and that is the fuel which is 91% and the aircraft stalled at indicated airspeed 190knots at height of less than 3000 AGL with landing gear down and flaps 3 notches down.Do you have any knowledge for a calculator which would calculate precisely the speeds?Further digressing from the main point, you mentioned about indicated airspeed. I believe ground speed or true airspeed is what is wanted and indicated airspeed is 'false' as it depends on the air density, which can give absurdly low values when flying high altitudesThanks RegardsShri
