  1. See my full reply to Dave above. Write me at toksawe at gmail dot com and explain or show me where "Flashing textures all over terminals"
  2. Dave, The KSLC product has been out since January and tons of folks have already bought the product since. AirdailyX has done a live stream review feed and a Dutch and German sites will be posting theirs soon. There are videos of the product already done by folks on their own volition to show what the product looks like on youtube. You are just as welcome to write your review - if it is worth your time and effort, however I ask that you write your opinion piece based on fair, unbiased and objective manner so that I can see the issues you are unhappy with and try improve on. I saw your comments from another thread where you stated that "REX is also slowly producing replacement textures for 40 FSX Enhanced Airports - the first was Salt Lake and it rivals (or may even be better) than the recently released PACSIM KSLC.." That statement does not provide me or anyone with any insightful reasons why you don't like KSLC. You are comparing oranges to apples here. If you are after default HD replacement textures then REX is your go-to guys. If you want immersive simming experience that includes the whole Salt Lake City downtown buildings, helipads, autogened suburbs, realistic landmarks, custom ground textures, realistic custom buildings, the whole Salt Lake valley and mountains running north-south with custom (seasoned) photoscenery with little VAS and FPS hits, then I am your guy. I am a Utahn and live in Salt Lake City, so what you see in the product is what you get. For the $35.50 price, you get the whole custom city and airport, helipads, custom scenery configuration tool, single installer for multiple sim platforms (P3Dv3, FSX, FSX:SE - which I don't charge individual licenses for), custom animated jetway system, me and my wife's development time and effort, and an updated product when the real-world KSLC completes its major renovation come 2020. If the price is too much for you, then I humbly apologize. Let me know if you are still unhappy with my development effort, time and resources invested and I shall refund your $35.50 promptly. As for product support, apart from you and Ieydis below, I have yet to have someone complain either privately or publicly about my after-market sales support services. I always attend to product issues within 30 minutes after receiving support emails, unless the customer is overseas in a different time zone at which I respond within 24 hours. You can't find that kind of dedication from most developers and shops, so your remark of lackluster support is unfounded. And just for the record, I just checked through my email and don't see any from you. Support email is always in the product Manual within all my products, on receipts when you purchased the product, at product pages at shops where you purchased the product, and on our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/islandsim/. If you bought KSLC directly from my store then the support email is right at the top of the page here: http://islandsim.com/store.html As for my product dedicated forum, I had to shut it down due to constant hacks and spamming. It is time consuming for me to run as a one-man team together with my business FB page and web shop.

  4. Folks, a little more than 48 hrs left on our holiday season sales so here's a final reminder. Thanks to one and all for your business this season and see y'all this time next year.
  5. 7 more days left to take advantage of our 40% All Titles discount sale, folks.
  6. It really depends on what product you want to buy and at what currency and exchange rate (for the product) you prefer. However, note that all other shops selling our products at discount have the "Up to" sticker for each product's Sales price point. That means there are variable pricing for each product Up To 40%. Simmarket has all our products at 20% off in Euro currency. Our shop, however, have ALL Products at 40% (no variable pricing per product) at US currency. It's your call though....
  7. ...on all PacSim product Titles until December 31, 2016. Buy directly from developer since pricing on all titles are mostly lower than other shops carrying same products. Latest products; Taiwan Taoyuan Int, Nagasaki Int & Omura, and Manila Ninoy Aquino Int. have updated single installers for multiple platforms including latest P3Dv3 iteration. Access shop here: http://islandsim.com/index.html
  8. The fog in the background is from ASN (Activesky) real-time weather and it sure does look nice in P3Dv3 and FSX.
  9. Hi rsperge, Thanks for your interest in our upcoming Salt Lake City Int project. This will be our first major US airport project and certainly won't be the last. The KSLC project comes with full animated and semi-animated SODE jetway sytem and covers the entire Salt Lake basin which includes the city itself and suburbs.
  10. Sales ending in two days this Sunday, folks. Thanks all.
  11. 9 more days to go before Summer Sales end, folks. And thanks very much to those that already made purchases, ...we do appreciate your business.
  12. ...on all PacSim products. Up to 40% off so make use of the short Summer Sales event. http://www.fspilotshop.com/pacsim-m-261.html
  13. If you had good fps before and just had drops recently, then I suggest you concentrate your tests on products or latest installations you purchased or acquired. Deactivate (or uninstall) them one by one to see if you can identify the culprit. That way you can save yourself the trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling everything. Oh, and simply reducing autogen or lowering global radius won't fix the low fps hits.
  14. 2015 Holiday Season year-end Sales is over at other stores, however we still have Sales going until coming Monday, January 4, 2016. Make use of the last 4 days by buying directly here: http://islandsim.com/pacsim-store.html

  17. RIEP, Tom. And thanks for everything. From the folks at PacSim.
  18. So sorry to hear you're leaving, Tom. You have done great service to our hobby and to say goodbye like this is really painful, both for the community and your family. Your voluntary service in the Peace Corp in Fiji and the South Pacific, is also a testimony to your civic legacy that Pacific Islanders will treasure, me included. Praying for you, Sir.
  19. Thanks for the HU. Just bought it and initial tests on my 3 and 6 year-old rigs are quite promising, especially with win8.1. Porting over 3rd party files from FSX worked flawlessly. All our future products will certainly have single installer for all three preferred platforms - P3D, FSX and FSX:SE.
  20. Six more days left for up to 40% off here: http://islandsim.com/pacsim-store.html.
