You may want to try Pilot2ATC, it is a great ATC package. The developer provides great support, and fixes broken code when it is reported, and if not, will tell you why not. I was a user of Pro ATC many years ago when the developer walked away from this project for a year before returning. I eventually found this other voice activated ATC software and never looked back! By the way, P2A supports FSX, P3D, X-Plane, and MSFS2020. Bill Clark

What I don't understand, is how do I get the Autopilot to drive the HSI and fly the Civilian P-51 down the RNAV GPS Glide Path?I have the rotary switch set to NAV, and the Garmin Flt1 GTN 650 set to GPS, but the HSI does not track the horizontal. However, it does show the vertical path deviation with a carat?Either this plane has to be flown manually down the vertical and horizontal path, or I am doing something wrong, because I am expecting the autopilot to take control and automatically fly the plane down the glide path?Does the Civ P-51 handle WAAS approaches, in addition to standard RNAV approaches?I will try out the ILS capability later.Bill Clark

.....another possibility to consider? LM Management, may be, or have been, investigating MSFS, or even negotiating a deal with Asobo/Microsoft, to adopt a "Commercial" version of MSFS? Given this situation, they may be giving pause to current development of P3D V5, to have their entire S/W development team to consider this opportunity from a technical standpoint? As a consequence, no P3D v5.3 update!!! LM may see that MSFS will be a better longer term technological fit for their business model going forward. The sticking point will be, if they would be able to buy/lease the "source code," to make the necessary code changes for their commercial customers, which may exclude all of us P3D users. Ron & Bob, The Extra 300 is my go to aircraft when testing out newly added scenery, sightseeing, or just having fun buzzing around low at 3rd party airports, etc. I like the visibility. As to my experience flying taildraggers, I have logged around 100 hours flying Pilot In Command in real world Piper Cubs, and of that time, I have about 30 hours in a J3 Cub, which is flown from the rear seat with no passengers. If your passenger is tall, visibility is very limited. Many times I set down on short field dirt strips with a passenger in the front seat with no problems. So I was very comfortable making either either 3-point stalls, or what we called in the day, "wheels landing," in the Cub where you would touch down on the main gear first, bleed off speed until the tail dropped to the ground. I experienced a lot of crosswind landings where I flew in he state of New Mexico in my early days........there is a lot of wind at the White Sands Test Grounds when I belonged to a Military flying club. So, when I perform a 3 point, fully stalled landing in P3D, really close to the runway in the Extra 300, keeping the stick fully back, it bounces like a pogo stick, and does not stop bouncing until rolling to a stop. I just know it is not related to my simulator skills, or lack thereof, but some other issue. BTW, I don't experience this issue when I fly the Extra 300 in the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Hi Bob, I went to a P3D V5.1 default airport, Miramar Marine Corps Air Station and experienced the same problem. No, I am not pumping the stick at all, once I land and firmly on the ground, I let go of the stick and watch the plane bounce until it comes to a stop. Bill

Hi, When I land my default Extra 300 sport plane taildragger during rollout it starts bouncing, and does not stop bouncing until A/C is completely stopped? Any idea how to fix? Bill Clark

This morning after sitting on the runway in VR, I attempted to press the "HOME bar" (SPACE bar) and nothing happened? I was stuck and could not go forward. I was able to kill the MSFS sim. After restarting the sim visited the setting area. I went to the the VR MODE side tab and opened it, then selected "Change Bindings," to see if this particular setting had changed. When I opened the settings, I discovered the following items missing: VR - Camera Reset VR - Cockpit Focus However, the following items were present: VR - Activate/Deactivate VR - Toolbar Toggle Prior to the last update, I didn't have this issue, everything worked great. Has anyone seen this issue, or could you check to see if all these choices are available on your system. Bill Clark

Quantumpion, I setup my mixture as an axis. I had the mixture number 1 & 2 set for 0-100%. Rotating the knob to a certain position will kill the engine Axis mixture 3 & 4 not setup. What seems to work is have to re-start the engine using CTL+E. I never had this problem until the update! Bill Clark

This may not be the correct forum, but I am finding that this T-45 jet, when started in 2D (Monitor Mode), shuts down the engines when I enable VR. It fly's fine in 2D mode, but not in VR. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix? I am not sure where the IndiaFoxTecho developers forums are located as I purchased from Orbx. Bill Clark

OK, I missed that statement. Yes, with FS2020, you are probably slammed! BTW - Is there a way to fool the current NGXu module so I can access the BBJ internals? I would imagine most of the internal commands of the NGXu are the same for the BBJ? Bill Clark

Hi, PMDG recently introduced the BBJ series for the 737NGXu for P3D v4 and v5. In trying to setup the BBJ, it appears that this new member of the 737Ngxu family is no covered by the current module. Are their plans to update this module? Bill Clark

Hi Stef, Yes, I have a Router. What do you mean by "dual IP's"? In some respects, I wished I had stayed with P3D v4.5 as V5.1 has some issues, stutters mainly at airports at KSFO. Plus, I lost use of my VRS F-18 E as they have yet to migrate it from V4.5 to V5.1. Bill

I finally got around to updating P3D V4.5 to 5.1, and wanted to update My Flight 1 GTN750 and 650. When I downloaded the latest version, and attempted to install it, my Microsoft defender labeled one of the components as a dangerous Trojan. F1 Support recommended I turn off my virus checker and then try to update. I declined. I have been downloading/installing a ton of software on my system for 2+ years now, never had this issue. Looks like it is time to try Reality XP brand, $35 is an attractive price, but I need to get both the 750 and 650 for my A2A planes! Bill Clark
