  1. Just press CTRL + L on the keyboard, its easier than messing about with a mouse.
  2. I think what Guenter is saying is that the MCP1 hasn't had the settings made for it yet so you will have to assign them to the knobs and buttons yourself, only the newer MCP2 has been setup already by default.
  3. But your displays still will not be in sync with the aircraft if that is what you are hoping for
  4. The default FS trim controls work perfectly with the 777, Note that it is slow compared to other aircraft but this is realistic.
  5. No, only the MCP Combo from years ago which is no longer made and the more recent MCP2 Boeing panel are supported. The Airbus panel and M-Panel are not unfortunately.
  6. Go to the deadzones tab and move the little arrows at either end of travel to change the end points.
  7. Do you have a file called actions.lua in the folder called *:\....\Modules\linda\aircrafts\PMDG 777 I think that is the file that is being called at line 9 in the common.lua
  8. Hope you aren't calling me blind sir. It's you who has no clue what you are doing, hiding the task bar is all that is needed, and this has been the general consensus on the FS Developer forums for years.
  9. I bet your fuel burn was inaccurate though and that is one of the reasons why this auto time compression feature was added, so that all parts of the simulation were able to work as designed. Its not just the visible functions that need to look right, its the invisible simulation stuff that needs babying too.
  10. Have you actually switched to the MCP tab in Linda, until you do Linda won't import the settings as far as I can remember.
  11. Pardon, possibility of what. Hiding the taskbar stops the frame rate drop caused by the bit of the start button that overlaps onto the FS window, it is that which is causing the frame rate drop, hiding it stops it. Pop over dialogues do not reduce my frame rate, but the taskbar start button overlap does. This picture below shows you what I mean, its actually a picture I made in Vista years ago but the same is true with windows 7 as well, its the top bit of the button which overlays the FS window just a tiny bit that causes the frame rate drop.
  12. I have a AutoHotKey script that hides the taskbar with a simple key press, if anyone is interested in getting it you can get it from the link below. Pressing Win + A on your keyboard toggles the taskbar. Simply place the ahtoggle.exe somewhere and then create a shortcut to the file and place the shortcut in your Startup folder to get it to load at windows boot time. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21030205/ahtoggle.exe Only works on Vista and Windows 7 as far as I know.
  13. Your pot is getting worn out and dirty most likely and is not able to register a full up or down position anymore. Try recalibrating the flap axis and set the end points a little short of where they used to be, its probably best to do it in the windows driver rather than in FSUIPC. I took my two quads apart a couple of weeks ago and cleaned the pots with contact cleaner, they now work just as well as they did the day I bought them 3 years ago. Have a look on Youtube there are a few tutorials showing you how take them apart and how to clean the potentiometers, its easy, but a little time consuming. It took me about 2.5 hours to do both quads. Tip: you will need a long PH1X100mm screw driver to get at some of the screws, the shaft needs to be quite thin too.
  14. The problem is Richard is this modern world people expect to get everything given to them on a plate and do nothing to help in the process, oh and they want in yesterday. I'll help people to help themselves but I won't cave in and do it for them, they have to work for it just like I had to. I suggest you start by getting the latest software and documentation from here, then do a little reading around the CDU2 forum area. http://vrinsight.com/devel_shot/
  15. Read the same document above to see what Linda is and then you will understand.
  16. Truly awesome job in such a short time, cheers.
  17. I hope this isn't going to cause problems for hardware users as our panels have rotary encoders for the Baro knob, so this holding a button pressed business will not work.
  18. I've not changed the pots for Hall Effect sensors but I have stripped them down and cleaned the pots, its relatively easy, its mostly just time consuming, two quads took me about 2 hours to do in total. The thing works like new now and I'm sure they will be good for at least another 3 years use, the pot sliders looked brand new after cleaning with a contact cleaner. You can find a few videos on Youtube showing you hows its done.
  19. Thanks as always, looking forward to it.
  20. Ray the only reason the RealityXP one is 3D is because the aircraft developer built a 3D model for their aircraft, the 3D model is not supplied by RealityXP, they only supply a 2d gauge and the interface to the Garmin trainer.
  21. Unlimited adds TCAD and Traffic as well, its not just Crossfill.
  22. Sorry Vaughan no I haven't, its not something I really need at this time as I own the whole 530 setup and Unlimited pack from RealityXP, so I'd not really paid that much attention to the Mindstar gauges.
  23. Yes they will, according to the thread on here that was discussing the subject, which is something RealityXP do not provide, nor any kind of tech support either these days it seems.
