  1. Dear friend, do NOT misunderstand me but, TWEAKS can only be applied in the .cfg file, not in a scenery.cfg file, that file just tells the FS witch files to load and in wihat order. IMHO it is very important to understand how a simulator works BEFORE you start to do things that severely change the behavior of the sim. Also, IMHO, people should spend more time flying instead of doing things with the sim, that they have no clue about. Jack the Swede in Spain
  2. +1000 Why on earth would someone think that the "save" button would alter the scenery.cfg? The settings window clearely shows settings in the .cfg file.
  3. ******* Christ! Why can´t you just admit that you have not understood anyhting!!! A lot of people have tried to help you, including "Virtuali" over in the FSDT forum, but still..... Don´t you see that you are making a fool of yourself? Even a novice PC user knows that IF you open a settings file, it might load another file, in this case P3D-cfg file. On the screen you will see the DEFAULT settings in your P3D.cfg. file. IF you change the settings in that file and save it it will sure save an edited copy of that file. If you just close the settings file, without saving it, the original file will be unchanged. You edited that file and saved it with your changes and now you blame GSX for poor GUI! 4. Do you assign the key in P3D-settings or in FSUIPC? Jack the Swede in Spain
  5. Well I don´t want to argue about/discuss PMDG vs Captain Sim but search the net and you will find a lot of comments about the quality. I have tested them and will never more buy a Captain Sim product. Furthermore IMHO the support is lousy. But as usual, we all have different opinions dependig of what we have experienced, our needs/demands and other things. So investigate and make a decision. If you think a product is what you are looking for and it meets your requirement, buy it, regardless of what other people think. Jack the Swede in Spain
  6. For "as real as it can be" the PMDG products are outstanding. No other vendors 737/747/777 is even close to the PMDG products. I have tested most of them and would never choose anything else but PMDG. Jack the Swede in Spain
  7. I have allways respected you Rob for your knowledge and interesting posts, but after your last posting I have lost all my confidence in you. What you say, in fact is, that speculations/stupidity/nonsens is something that is wished on AVSIM. Cant beleive what I´m reading. :flag-01: But sometimes you missjudge people. Jack the Swede in Spain
  8. THANKS n4gix, for changing the Topic Title!!!! You gave me back the confidence for this site!  Jack the Swede in Spain

  10. NEWSFLASH, NEWSFLASH. Last night, I had a revelation! P3D v3.0 is going to be released! Yes, Gods son, the name was deleted (it´s a common namen here in Spain so it´s not blasphemy) told me so. Jack the Swede in Spain
  11. And the topic is P3D 3.0 NEWS!!! Moderator please close this thread with 19 pages of nonsens/speculations/off topic posts. :flag-01: Jack the Swede in Spain
  12. Thats totally wrong. How can I get an OOM if I have, lets say 32GB RAM, yes that´s because my sim can not address RAM above the limit at about 3,5 GB. The physical RAM-size above about 4GB has nothing to do with OOM:s. You are confusing RAM with address space and Video RAM. OOM has nothing to do with the amount of available system RAM OOM has nothing to do with the amount of available video RAM Address space has little to do with the amount of RAM but everything to do with the OOM OOM is caused by address space saturation. Jack
  13. Easy answer. No, they are made for FSX and not compatible with P3D. Jack
  14. Well my dear friend IF EMT is so fantastic, how come your Wilco Airbus clickspots doesn´t work? As for my advice, you are welcome. Jack
  15. Probably the smartest posting in this thread! Jack the Swede in Spain
  16. Best tip is NOT to install products that are NOT compatioble with P3D! Jack the Swede in Spain
  17. louisdecoolste Very good and true posting. Love this one "Those who think they know, don't". Sometimes when I read some postings i wonder if the poster is either a small kid or just plain stupid. Jack the Swede in Spain
  18. Thanks Vic, a posting based on facts, not fiction! But on the other hand, people are free to install in any drive/folder they like, but when they get problems...... Guess the topic starter has facts enough to make his decision. So.... time to close thnis topic or? Jack the Swede in Spain
  19. Corrrect Jorge, it´s not needed for P3D v2.5. I have AMD and have never used the settings. Jack the Swede in Spain
  20. Michael I can´t tell. I had a clean install of WIN10, clean install of P3D v2,5, installed my SAITEK drivers and plugged in my devices and..... it works. Don´t ask me how/why. My only problem is, but that I have had for years, is that the there is no light on the clock on the yoke. Jack
  21. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh............... I just plugged in my SAITEK stuff and they work as they should?? Jack the Swede in Spain
  22. MIchael How did you get UT2 to work in P3D? Jack
  23. Cuoting Schiller. "Against stupidity the very gods themselves contend in vain". I rest my case. :spain-flag: Jack the Swede in Spain
  24. Thats one of the benefits in a democracy, we are allowed to make choices. Welcome to reality in a few years when time has catched you up and the rest of the word has moved on to WIN12. Jack
  25. Guys I have this on an original CD, maybe it´s something for you. Bobsk8 Guess you didn´t read the text. ---------------------------------------------------- Unlike Windows 8, Windows 10 actually feels designed for a PC with a keyboard and mouse. Windows 7 users will be much more at home with Windows 10, but there are still some big changes. If you’re a Windows 7 user, you might be surprised to see just how much has changed after you upgrade. Thankfully, there are no weird hot corners to learn. Jack the Swede in Spain
