As v4 (v4.1) is a 64-bit program, you can NOT copy/paste add-ons from v3.x to v4.x, you have to re-download or i some cases (PMDG) re-buy your addons and reinstall the 64-bit versions. ORBX add-ons are FREE for v4.x if you have them for v3.x. On the ORBX-forum there are very good postings about how to do this the easiest way. Jack the Swede in Spain.

This is silly I know, but I must have done something very wrong. When I start my 737/777 I can no longer see the cockpit-view where I have the dashboard in front of me! I have a view where it seems I am looking out of the front window. I can not zoom back so I get into the cockpit again. Before that I could move the hat switch on my Saitek Joystick and move the "eyepoint" around the cockpit. Last time I loaded my 737/777 I was sitting as normal in the pilots chair with the dashboard in front of me but no any more. What have I done? I use P3D v4 andf WIN10 Pro Jack the Swede in Spain

I was a little bit too fast here. Made a new test and it looks that update of the Content seems to delete/update ONLY LM-files. My PMDG, Aerosoft, +++ files were all there in the new updated Effects. BUT as you say, it´s allways wise to make backups BEFORE updates. Jack the Swede in Spain

IF you update Content it will delete/reinstall the Effects library, meaning that EVERY add-on that has written files to that library, has to be reinstalled. Jack the Swede in Spain

Hi After restart of my PC I can now move the xml-scenerys, but I still can not deactivate them. After deactivating them, saving, closing the program they still show up activated when I restart Addon organizer. Jack the Swede in Spain

Hi As this seemed to be an interesting program I downloaded and installed it. At the top I could se 4 of my airports installed in P3D v4 via the .xml-method. I marked one of them and tried to move it down, but as soon as I clicked the down-button, the program crashed. So after a restart I un-activated them and saved and got the message "saved". So I closed the program and restarted it and...... the 4 entries were activated again! Jack the Swede in Spain

Yes I have BUT you need to add about 40 entries in the terrain.cfg to make it work porperly. It also works great togehter with ORBX products. Go to the ORBX forum and search for Tongass and you will get a lot of information how to install it. :smile: Jack the Swede in Spain

Just do a complete reinstall just to avoid trouble. No matter what some people claim. EMT does NOT work properly with v3. But as usual some people know better than the developers. Jack the Swede in Spain

6 months! Where did you get that information from? According to JV every product will be converted in "a few months"! Please! What about all the Aerosoft or many other developers products that have not even been converted from FSX to P3D, ANY version? When did you get a FREE upgrade from earlier versions (FSX/P3D v 1-2) for free from any other developer? This is just stupid. Jack the Swede in Spain
