Manually download the NEW version (includes the update) and you will have both versions. UNINSTALL the old version and reinstall the new. FTXCentral places the ORBX-products where they should be. Open ORBX FTX-Central and set the Library Insertion Point. ALL ORBX-scenery should be below your 3:rd party add-ons. Jack the Swede in Spain

jetsmell, what I meant was if you have activated it inside your sim. I would wait a while, as a NEW version of FTXCentral is on it´s way very soon and the new Central will allow you to place ORBX-products where you like, so no need for symbolic links that can mess tings up if you don´t know what you are doing. Have a little patience. 😉 Jack the Swede in Spain

Yes I deleted the indexes and have checked my scenery.cfg with my Scenery Config Editor (don`t like Lorbys) Jack

I have updated from v4.3 to v4.4 and suddenly the loading time for a scenery is extremely long.. I start the sim and it takes 1-2 minutes, I choose an airport and it takes opver 11 minutes to load. First it stops at 6% for 3-4 minutes and after that it loads very slow. I have deleted the shaders folder, deleted Prepar3D.cfg so the sim can rebuild them. Had no problems with v4.3 and I have NOT added any sceneries since my update to v4.4. I( have searched the web suggestions for a solution but nothing helps. Any suggestions apart from a clean install of v4.4 and reinstall opf all my add-ons? Jack the Swede in Spain

Just to clarify. I did NOT just MOVE the folder, I followed the instructions from Microsoft. This a common way to solve the problem with a to small C-drive and recommended by ORBX and others. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To change the location of the System Temp folder, follow the steps given below. 1. You'll need to restart any running programs for the new value to take effect. I´m not using any installer. I re-downloaded my PMDG-products from my PMDG account 3 days ago (737/777 Base packs+expansion packs), I right click the PMDG 737-8900 NGX Base Package P3D.exe and run it as administrstor. After a few seconds this funny looking library is created 䒌 including a sub library named Disk1, containing this file 0x0409.in whith the text above. I understand nothing as I have reinstalled my products before without any problems. I have run Microsoft Defender and it has not found any viruses, I deactivate Defender during the installation. I can install other products like A2A aircrafts and different scenerys without problems. Jack

Yes I´m running as administrator. All 737/777 products (base + expansion). Have reinstalled the products before, without problems. Just to be sure I re-downloaded the products from my PMDG-account again. Jack

Chaos81. Seems I must have been extremely unlucky. I bought my PMDG.products in 2015 for P3D v3. When v4 was released i tried to install them but of course they didn´t have an installer for v4. When PMDG announced that they had released a version for v4 I downloaded the add-ons again from my account but still no installer for v4. I waited a week and downloaded again, but no istaller for v4. Also I couldn´t find any updates from v3 to v4. Waited another week but still no installer for v4 in the downloads on in my account. So only solution for me was to repurchase the products and in the NEW downloads added to my account there were installers for both v3 and v4. It might have worked for you but not for me.
