  1. Hi there, does anyone of you propably have the same issue? When pressing "b" on the keyboard, the altimeter is setting the current QNH setting correct. But if I try to change them manually with the rotary knob on the bottom left corner of the altimeter, it does not change, regardless in which direction I use the knob.
  2. The Problem here is, that if you load another livery fromo the tutorial situation FSX loads the aircraft with running engines (at least at my PC)I made a Cold and Dark default flight with the default cessna 172. If I am loading the J41 afterwards the engine is not running, but many switches in the cockpit are on instead of switched off. So I think FSX is buggy here, unfortuneatly
  3. Thank you Ryan for that Information, I wasn't aware of that. Good luck finding this limit :)
  4. Thank's Vin.Although this issue did not came up before SP1 :)

  8. looking somehow strange - nice you did it, but I think will not need it :)
  9. No offence JB, but I don'T want to sit in that airplane during this kind of flying -g-
  10. Hi Alex,as far as I have Understand in learning this Bird is, that the Engine Sound Level depends on the condition level - If you have them in TAXI the Engines are more silent than IN FLIGHT.And there is also some small variation in flight which are Tourgue dependend.
  11. yep, me too. wondering if this is a typo in the turorial because the screnshot in it says 1300 too
  12. Thank you for the update - I am looking forward to the Cold & Dark Switch and the Trim Calculator update.good Job Done :)
  13. roger - so we have to buy a parachute to slow down early :( just kidding :(
  14. Yes Vangelis, I am aware of that procedure. I was just thinking al little bit because James told about his final turns when he was too high and fast and wanted to do an steep approach :(By the Way, thanks for the explanation about the EGT & TTL stuff
  15. Has anybody tried to pull RPM back to taxi during short final (about 1-2 nm before touch down) Are the Engines burnig up then too?
  16. The hardest part for me was and is managing the throttle manually - i am soooo used to A/Throttle of nearly every plane i've got, so it is hard to relearn that.Oh and i often forget to reduce RPM to 96-98% after Takeoff. One time I tulled the RPM to 90% by mistake and both enigned got burned @ 3000 ft AGLHad to glide the bird to a controlled collission :(yeah I like this plane really :(
  17. Just flying an Evening Flight from Geneva to Zurich during Sunset - Guys I love this bird :(
  18. can't understand anything - the engines are too loud in cruise ;)
  19. Love the Beast really, I just reached cruising altitude for my first flight. But one Question remains:Who the hell left their fingerprints on my shiny new J41 FMS?? :(nice job done guys :(
