  2. I think Ryan can tell you about this, I also would like to know!! But I think when you see the price at nearly £3000 I am not sure it's worth it... Patrick
  3. Thanks for your reply Ryan, in the meantime I found some info about the card and yes as you said it is no good for fsx or gaming in general. Regards Patrick The pocket? yes it hurts quite a bit!! Patrick
  4. Hi everybody. I did not write anything on this forum for ages as I don't fly FSX for the time being. But at the moment I am looking into it again and I am looking at building my own pc well customise it. I came across this graphics card NVIDIA Quadro 6000 - 6 GB - (PCI-E). Apart that is more expensive does anybody have any experience? Thanks in advance. Regards Patrick
  5. Maybe 36 inch is too big, but am sure there is a resolution. Maybe if you try them one by one you can find the one that suits you.Patrick
  6. I know a lot of people here have strong opinions about dell and alienware and I totally agree. I had the dell xps 720 which i got rid off and bought the xps 730 which after a year it went caput, after a long 5 month of trials and errors to fix the pc they decided to offer me a repalcement or a refund which I chose the 1st opt. Since the xps 730 was not manufactured anymore they gave me an alienware area 51 alx which in my opinion it was a bloody good pc (plus more expensive then the 730 not by a lot though) but knowing my luck I was having problems with display driver which again it took a good 5 months to try to fix so finally had enough and got a full refund. Anyway i do appologise for the lecture but the reason behind this is that alienware have a new pc that starts from £999 which is £2000 cheaper then the one I had and they are using the i5-2400 I think its woth having a look. This the link : http://www1.euro.del...s=dhs&cs=ukdhs1If it does not work just go to alienware website and you ll find it very easily.Patrick
  7. I am not sure about that, I have win 7 ultimate 64 bit and FSX deluxe and works very good on my system...Patrick
  8. What about some pics or videos showing us this beauty, don't you think that you played and teased enough with us. Well hope to come out soon as I am on this sight now 24/7 and I think even my pc had enough. Patrick
  9. I am sure Robert and Ryan are enjoying the hell out of this teasing. I think I ma gonna burn my pc soon switching on and off.Patrick
  10. I use to have this problem on my previous pc Dell xps 730 which had an nvidia gtx 285 but it started after I had my pc for nearly a year and it use to happen only while I am playing FSX until I uninstalled some windows update and it stopped but my pc went down so I got it replaced, now i have an alienware with an ATI and on this pc it does it constantly non stop, no open programs nothing even if i am not doing anything or just on the internet. I am trying to re install all my addons but its such a struggle even when I start the pc sometimes it freezes it and I have to force shut down and restart. But to my amazement it does not do it while I am on FSX.Patrick
  11. Its nothing to do with ATI, use to get the error even when I had Nvidia but in different situations and no so often.Patrick
  12. Hi everybody,It seems like I dont have any luck with pc,s. Last year I had Dell xps 730 quite a powerfull machine. Unfortunately after a year it just went down tried to fix it, dell send me tech people but nothing. Finally they came to the solution of either a replacement or a refund, which I chose a replacement. Now they gave me an alienware with the same specs as I had except now I have windows 7 64 bit ultimate from Windows vista 64 bit HP and ATI 5800 series HD 2gb instead of the Nvidia gtx 285 1gb.Since I got my new pc I keep on getting this error "Display Driver AMD stopped working and has recovered". Mind you I did get this error from my previous pc and I had Nvidia not ATI graphics card but I use to get only during FSX, and not from the beginining of when I had the pc. Now with this new pc I get it while I am on the pc doing things and it happens literally a few times every minute which is impossible to cope with, I went on forums and it seems it's a pretty common error but so far no fix.If somebody encountered the error and manged to fix it (even if not) could you please post it on this thread. ThanksPatrick
  13. I think it's about time that we get to see some nice pics of this lovely bird.Patrick
  14. I just purchased the aircraft and I am having a problem, I installed it, when I went to fsx and chose the aircraft it asked me (i dont remember what but you get them on every add-on) and clicked yes, it asked me for the activation key and put it in, after that it crashed down my system, I tried a few times still the same, Uninstalled it and installed it and uninstalled again and installed it with all the security features off but still the same, need help please.RegardsPatrick
  15. I am trying to download the airac to my wilco aircrafts, on the info it says that it will install in the right folder automatically but it doesnt so i dont know the right path were to install thanks.I have FSX acceleration and vista 64 bit.RegardsPatrick
  16. Hi all,I never use to have this problem but recently I was flying the 747 FSX and I just could not put the frquency in. Usually I go to the fmc click on dep/arr button and select the arrival airport and click on an ILS runway and select then I go to nav radio always on the fmc and the frquency is there but this time for some reason I ma not able to, can someone help me please.RegardsPatrick
  17. I found what was the problem, I thought that I had FSUIPC installed (which it was but for some reason was not there anymore) so yes now everything is fine the only thing is that when I fly in MD in the initialization the cockpit flickersfor a few secs but then its fine I will reinstall :( Patrick
  18. Thanks for your reply, when I choose the md 11 it just crashes but when I choose the 747 it tells me error PMDG_747400_Main.DLL cannot find PMDGOptions.DLL, I click ok then another one comes up instesd of main there is ACS and another one with overhead.
  19. I just bought a new pc windows vista 64 bit i purchased an extended download and redownloade again my pmdg aircraft but first i installed the md 11 and everything was black in the cockpit and I could not fly the plane the I trie to re-install by switching off the security features but to no avail I installed aswell the 747 but its crashing fsx and so is the md-11 I need help here thanks.Patrick :( :(
  20. How does the products of pmdg work on Vista 64?RegardsPatrick
  21. I am not gonna guess what it is, I can only wish it's T7 :( and that's it.I don't think it's fair that they revealed they have a release without any advert on their website and now we just have to wait and speculate what it might be it was already enough that we were waiting for the MD-11 anyway when it comes out it's out.
  22. I dont't want to be a pain :( but at least we should see some screenshots now of the 737 NGX, the COMING SOON it's been there since I discovered PMDG since I bought the 747 for fsx and that is a year ago I do understand they have policies and I appreciate that but I think now its about time. And regarding A320 well I do agree that aT7 would have been a better option but I am still curious to see what is gonna come out. :( RegardsPatrick
