Captains!Alright- for your entertainment this evening we have a few things for you...PMDG 747-400 LCF RELEASED=========================We have just made available for sale the latest product extension in the PMDG 747-400X series: The Large Cargo Freighter! This product was built with input from our good friends up at Boeing- and is a faithful presentation of the airplane in hi definition! Our favorite part of this product is not the immense ugliness of the airplane, but the MISSION! We have added some game-play elements to this product that have not previously been included in any PMDG product. Namely, with a bit of care and finesse, you can load various parts of the upcoming 787 into the aircraft, fly them across the globe, and unload them in realistic fashion! This model will bring a completely new perspective to hauling freight, for while the airplane itself is enormous, the cargo tends to be large, bulky, and LIGHT... So the airplane obtains incredible performance in spite of her enormity! We have included a detailed overview document that will help you learn how to load and unload the airplane with minimum of fuss- and we have included both the PMDG DreamLifter and the Boeing DreamLifter liveries.(We were asked about a paintkit earlier tonight... I think we shall be able to do this- but we need to check with some folks in Seattle to be certain this is acceptable to them, first!)This airplane is very moderately priced at $14.99, as we figured she'd make a great weekend adventure for those who want to operate a new airplane with a mission!Pick up yours (if you can lift it) by heading right over to PMDG eCommercePMDG 747-400X CD Available Cheap for Downloaders================================================We are frequently asked by customers if it would be possible obtain a backup copy of their 747 on CD. This simply hasn't been something we have been able to assist with, until now! Thanks in part to our new retail distribution operation here in North America, we now have a number of retail PMDG 747-400X CD packages available for purchase from PMDG's website. These are the same packages that were available late last year via BestBuy and other retailers as part of a distribution-special, and we have made them available for direct purchase right from PMDG's website. This marks the first time we have sold anything but downloads from our site, and we decided to set up a special offer for those who might want one of the retail copies:If you purchased the PMDG 747-400X download from our website at any time up until 19AUG10, we will take $40 off the price of the CD version if you decide you want one to use as a backup copy. (Or as a shelf conversation piece... come-on, we know who you are!)The deduction will be given to you automatically AT CHECKOUT, as our site knows if you have a copy of the download 400X in your account. We only have a limited quantity of these items available, so if you think you might want one, don't hesitate or they might vanish once and forever! Grab one here....PMDG Partner Products Available from PMDG eCommerce===================================================As you know, we have been selling high quality products from a few "Partners" for a few years now. Angle of Attack and FS2Crew were the first, and we've just added a few CD based products from Aerosoft and SimSquared. Stop by PMDG's eCommerce Site to check out the latest. We will be adding more titles shortly!FS2Crew Voice Commander JS4100 Edition:=======================================In keeping with the above, we have just made FS2Crew's latest offering for the PMDG BAe JS4100 available from our site. If you haven't tried this innovative new product, we strongly recommend you give it a whirl... It adds a whole new level of realism to your J41 sim flying!PMDG 737NGX:============We are (quite literally) chomping at the bit to show you more of the marvelous upcoming release. A few weeks ago I put the team on hold from showing you anything new, as we have some very specific items we want to start sharing with you as we wind up toward release!I've been looking forward to saying this for some time, but: The next product we release- will be a 737NGX!This product is packed to the cheat line with innovations that will add a completely new level of interaction, excitement, mission and realism to your 737 flying.I will begin sharing some of the details of these innovations with you on Friday... With a strong possibility of more images to highlight the features and to show you just how real this airplane will look and feel from the flight deck.If you think it is hard waiting to hear about this upcoming release- just imagine what it is like for us not to tell you. :( This product has taken significantly longer than we would have liked- and the release is going to be quite different than we'd originally planned, but when you see what we are packing in, I think you'll agree that the wait has been well worth it!Okay- enough for tonight- I'm looking forward to starting the process of orienting you with the upcoming NGX- beginning tomorrow!Get out there and enjoy the 747-400 LCF, and check back here tomorrow for some interesting announcements!

Btw, if you have questions about the LCF after purchasing just put them in the 747-400 forum for now, I'll get Tom to make us a dedicated LCF subforum tomorrow.
