August 20, 201015 yr I was hoping for info on the Woodpigeon. :PNow I need to consider backing up everything and reinstalling Windows so I can reinstall FSX so I can enjoy the new stuff in pipeline. :( Supporter GhostRecon.net | AGgReSsion WhiteKnight77's Place Mike Shannon
August 20, 201015 yr This product has taken significantly longer than we would have liked- and the release is going to be quite different than we'd originally planned, but when you see what we are packing in, I think you'll agree that the wait has been well worth itLooking forward to the upcoming news on the 737, interesting to hear what is behind the above statement in what is different from planned.LCF not really for me, as the 747 doesnt get much sim time anymore due to lack of hardware support, most my time is spent flying the JS41 and LD767. Shame the LCF didnt patch the 747 to allow hardware support better also. By fear not the 737 should solve all that. Regards James Carr
August 20, 201015 yr I was hoping for info on the Woodpigeon. :(The woodpigeon is regretfully delayed. During Beta testing the WP-PMDG was obliterated by 7 knot cross winds. August 20, 201015 yr I probably wont have the system to run the NGX (i am NOT entirely sure! PMDG may surprise us again :D) but when i get the cash im gonna buy it anyway to try and for when i upgrade my hardware this fall/winter.Definition, Trialcy:To illegally download payware software and keep it for a limited time as a trial and make a purchase afterwards. Now i am going to be totally honest here, I DO pirate some software for flight Sim but not for keeps. i use it as a trial before i buy. Believe it or not doing that has saved me from buying some crappy add-ons (LD767, i tried it, wasn't really the visual modeling i was looking for, than i realized that i probably wont even fly it that much.) so i bought the CS757. I was happy with THAT purchase. I NEVER keep the add-ons i download for more than 3 days, i am very strong on the economy and it angers me when people go on team speak and say: "anyone want 'INSERT SOFTWARE HERE'? I have the cracked version. Don't worry its totally legitimate!" (yeah how is that so legitimate :()I really never do the, what i call "Trialcy", that much. I did do it with the PMDG FS9 737 and 747 but i didn't like the visuals on the 737 and i knew i wouldn't fly the 747 that much. like i said in all i ended up buying the CS 757 FS9. When i used FSX in early 09' i also "Trialled" the Ariane 737 and i was disgusted at the way they do business. I haven't done "Trialcy" since, though. Also, since we all already know what the NGX is gonna be like (Jaw dropping heaven) i wont be doing trialcy (i wouldn't have in the first place, PMDG puts a lot of work in their stuff) As soon as i get the Cash i will buy it, whether or not i can run it LOL.PMDG,Maybe can you start a Demo program for all of your aircraft? When buying aircraft its really hard to buy them with out test driving them. It's like buying a car without test driving it. I personally think the community would greatly appreciate it.

August 20, 201015 yr Definition, Trialcy:To illegally download payware software and keep it for a limited time as a trial and make a purchase afterwards. So you come onto PMDG's forum and admit that you've stolen their software...You're a brave soul. Though brave probably isn't the word I'd use. :( Tired of Streetlights everywhere? Try MSFS DarkStreets today!
August 20, 201015 yr Pretty much. But i don't feel as guilty as i don't keep it and i only use it to make a decision. PMDG's products are VERY expensive. It is very hard not to try them out before buying them.

August 20, 201015 yr if only people were as honest to go on the developers forum and tell them. i guarantee if everyone told the truth most of you would admit you pirated at least one thing. So don't center it on me, because i am sure everyone here has done it before. If you have the balls to admit it than go ahead but til' then i am the only one to admit doing this. It takes a lot of guilt off admitting to something wrong. Now i still wish PMDG did what CS does and have a demo for their A/C.EDIT:Thats what i thought. so next time before you all want to flame somebody for something "you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself"
August 20, 201015 yr Commercial Member Brian...You own no PMDG products yet you're on here telling people it's ok to pirate them because we don't have a demo system. There's a very good reason we don't have a demo system, which I can't go into here (it's related to security and piracy actually), but the fact that we don't doesn't give you the right to create one for yourself. If a car company doesn't offer test drives, I can't just walk onto the lot and take one for a spin anyway. We've been at this way too long and you're never going to convince us that the majority of pirates are doing it because there's no demo of the product. People know damned well what our products are, how good they are, and what kind of system it takes to run them, and yet we still see tons of piracy of them.
