  1. ...Sublogic's Flight Simulator II in 1983... My first Flight Simulator too and, ashamed to say, the reason I have bought my first computer, a Commodore 64. Time flies my friend, time flies!
  2. My best wishes for getting well soon! Nicholas
  3. Many thanks to all! Being positive that I did everything "by the book", there is nothing else but wait... Kind regards, Nicholas
  4. Thank you for your reply. I have created an account first, which was activated and then I posted a message describing the issue. Isn't that sufficient?
  5. Hello to all, A couple of days ago, I uninstalled Rex soft clouds (including service pack and hotfix), in order to install an updated version. Well, it could not be installed. I have got a message stating that there is another version installed therefore the installation could not continue. I have to note here that I have manually cleared every trace of the program. After that, I tried to reinstall the older version and I got the message that the file is not recognized! I have contacted the Rex's support forum but I received no reply... Apologies if I have got you confused (my English is not good) and any help would be very much appreciated. Nicholas
  6. I "fly" it since the X-plane v7 era...In MHO, it is the best freeware add-on, easily competing most of the payware ones! Nicholas
  7. The 737x by Benedikt Stratmann and Pierre Stone (www.eadt.eu) is an excellent freeware choice! Nicholas M. Stavrides
  8. - BIOS set to: Optimized Defaults - Latest drivers installed (already had that done) - FSUIPC4947d installed - P3D.cfg deleted - Settings (almost all of them, except from Traffic) set to MAX, ONE BY ONE I am testing P3D for an hour now and... IT WORKS!!!!!! No Crashes, no Blue Screen, no Windows auto-restart! Thank you all of you who have been as so kind as to help. Best of regards, Nicholas
  9. Thank you for your quick answers! My power supply is a Corsair 850W and, yes. I have FSUIPC v4.947 (free version). I also have the latest drivers installed. The reason that makes me think that there is no problem with my system - although I am not a computer expert - is that everything else runs without any issue. I will follow your suggestions and see what happens. Thank you again, Nicholas
  10. Hi All! Prepar3d v3 Academic crashes after 2-3 min after aircraft take-off (any aircraft) and causes Windows to restart automatically (NO ADD-ONS!). 13. Hi all, I have Santorini X successfuly installed into Prepar3d v2.4 using Estonia Migration Tool (and without using it), but whenever I try to start a fly from or approach to, I end up getting the message: Your computer has run out of memory etc. I believe I have tried almost everything regarding lowering scenery options, p3d.cfg file tweaking, uninstall and re-install.....I have to add that Santorini x used to work fine in P3d v2.3. I also have the same specs: Windows 7 64 bit Intel i7 950 12 GB RAM DDR3 nVidia GTX 780 OC 2GB Any help would be precious!!!! Thank you in advance.
  14. I have been "flying" x737 almost since it came out - for older versions of x-plane and up to x-plane 10 - and in MHO it is one of the best freeware (or donationware if you like). The new upcoming VC will make it a really good competitor for many x-plane payware add-ons Apologies for my bad English.
