Not really an issue - remember most of these are RNAV SIDS/STARS, just follow that ATC tells you. If you fly offline, you can basically do what you want anyway, so you pick and fly what you want to. I use the service, and whether I fly online or offline, their service has what I need at my fingertips. Regards

What??? Where have you been all these years ? Seriously though, forget the 777 and the NGX - what you are about to experience flying the 744 is like nothing else, and what I have seen from the subtle little things PMDG included in the flight model, the feel of this majestic bird has been captured in breathtaking style, the way only PMDG can do it... Also looking forward to the release. I already warned my boss and the family that I will disappear to an undisclosed location for a yet to be determined amount of time. Regards

Well they did do the DC-6 so I expect more will follow eventually. Regards

Wow that approach felt quick! My heart started to race there a bit, thanks for the show and tell there. Regards

You seem to have missed the part about the people who are part of the team are also type rated pilots - they won't overlook details like this. That and the fact that you have to understand that quite often people have a tendency to point to it and say "you are wrong - this is how it should be". 95% of these people have no idea what they are talking about. This is where the problem begins. To maybe expand a bit on the statement leading to your post I quoted, and also alluding to your own statement about the quality of PMDG products, we trust them because we know what kind of quality they produce. It is not that we don't want to see any mistakes or turn a blind eye to it, but the fact of the matter is that before you can come out and say something is wrong, you need to be able to back that up with facts, which you cannot do unless you have ALL the background information, like for instance you are a Boeing engineer or a pilot that flies the aircraft. I have flown literally thousands of hours on these airplanes on the sim and I would battle to notice all the nuances that brings this beast to life. I have read and re-read many manuals and all the stuff that Joe Public can get his hands on, and I will never know as much as the guys that do this for real - that is just a fact of life. I would suggest that rather than making accusations along the line of "PMDG has become like a religion", just ask a question rather than make a statement saying they are wrong. Better yet, have a look at recent forum topics - you will notice there was another discussion about this very same subject a few weeks ago. That is another thing - people making the same statement more than once and then expecting the team to consistently give the same answers and not to become irritated, not only because of the repeat but also because the statement is false. Not looking for an argument, but there you have it - my 2c. Regards

Every time I see a heavy departure, I get that really heavy feeling - you can actually really experience the might of the Queen in all her glory by looking at that takeoff! I love the "feel" that radiates from the aircraft. Regards

Those are classics, not the NG's so I doubt we would see them soon if ever. I am a very big fan of the -400 myself though. Regards

Loving Aaron's vids! Regards

Man, the sound, the rumble - I swear my heart was in my mouth right there! I also have to say that what I notice there is the "feel" that it is heavy and big, it is difficult to describe but the feel of it is much, MUCH better than the older version. Thanks for the video! Regards

Lol awesome stuff! Regards

If??? Of course we do :Big Grin: . Thanks very much! Regards

Hahahah, nice write up! It is true though that we are having so much realism to choose from these days in FS that we are being spoiled for choice! I still want to take the leap and get AS but bit too pricey at the moment, maybe over the holidays. Regards

Can we stop the Froogle bashing please? I think that many of the critics here know very little of his contribution to the FS community. That and I think you have lost the whole idea of what the video was about. Watch it again and have a look at what he is ACTUALLY trying to show you and not what your idea is what he really SHOULD be showing you. Now if the Froogle bashing is done, let's get the tread back on track please... Regards Thanks guys, treat the beta testers like this and that is the type of response you will get because nobody likes doing things that are a privilege to us (they don't have to do it, they do it between everything else, because to them it is what it is to us - a hobby) and then find yourself in a position where the floor is being mopped with you. Really guys if you want to troll, go and do it someplace else.

No used the right code, but I have noticed that you cannot activate the expansion without activating the base first, which for some reason, if normal, wasn't the case in the past. I could activate either/or and it worked. But then again, remember I am the only one that also only later experienced the moving picture on the HGS which was normal for everyone else, so yeah. Maybe I just had a funky, weird-a$$ setup earlier lol. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up! Regards

I have found that (for some strange reason on my new installation of Windows on my latest PC), that if I install the base and the add-on, and I activate the add-on without activating the base package first, it keeps asking me for the activation code every time as well. Worth a look maybe? Regards

I enjoy using Navigraph cloud on my tablet. This seems like a good product though if they can fix the VAS issues. Regards

I run a 480GTX and an i5 3330 @ 3.00GHz with 12GB RAM. All the PMDG stuff runs beautifully on mine. Regards

Ahhhh okay lol. Always better to be on the same page as everyone else lol. Going to watch tonight Regards

Okay Kyle, I am intrigued by this - what is that INITECH paper and what is it about? I really don't know and I am asking out of genuine interest :-) Regards
