Hi I find that when I have the landing lights dim when the panel lights are on. After turning on the panel lights the landing and taxi lights are again bright lights and inside the VC you can still see the landing lights. Darryl

I done that test and it was a heavy hit on FPS in side the VC I was getting about 8 FPS with Track IR 5 running. Also running was 5 Saitek panels, 2 TQ's, Trim wheel, Yoke and pedals. The video card is from my old rig 660ti over 2 24" screens The AA settings was not changed from what I have set as I know how good it is now and messing with settings to much I may of not got it back to the way it was. Also my CFG had been run over with venetubo from the time I set this rig up and it gets it humming a long good. I should say I run Win7 64 on SSD and FSX on a SSD Kingston HyperX as well. I don't need to push my system no more as its running better than I ever wanted.

I went from a i7 960 @3.6 to the i7 4770K @ 4.8 only about 2 weeks ago and its 50% faster easy. I can run with all sliders at 100% only with the water down. Using Orbx and NGX I sit on 70FPS @33000. On the ground at YMML 30FPS in the NGX. It was well worth the money for the new MB,CPU,RAM to match.

Ron I don't know if this is a fix but I seen a sound file was missing xrpm3. I was having a lot of problems with my CT206H just the same as you have been and I looked at the sound folder from my old 206 and the new one and seen the missing file. I just copied that in to the CT206H and every flight I done that was over 1 hour each was ok. No drops in FPS and I done about 3 flights using steam and glass cockpit. You can just make a copy of a sound file and rename it to see if its going to fix your problem for now. I was flying over orbx aust 135kis @3000 trying to load up my system as much as I could. Give it a try and see if it will work as a temp fix.

Don't feel so bad as I got the 206 yesterday and with the new glass cockpit as well. I'm have the same problems as yourself starting out at about 25FPS then down 1.5. My flying was done offline with Opus, track IR, Saitek panels SPAD drivers. This is the only plane im having the problems with as well. Darryl

Yes I had only seen the logo painted on the plane and after looking at all the new PDF files that were getting updated I got the logo I was looking for. So I just super sized it then print screen then I got to rip the fonts from that and made a layer. Thanks for your time Robert hope to have the new one out by the end of the weekend PMDG 737-700. Yes I have the main logo and now im just trying to get the font so I can finish off this job. I would show the full image just Qantas has not made it public yet and i happen to know someone that knows someone that painted it. I would like to get as close to this one as I can so would love some help please. Darryl

G'day Been asked by my VA to do a special Qantas paint and I'm looking for the name of the qantas font style or as close as I can get to the Qantas fonts that's used. I have been looking and looking and cant find what im looking for. Even with all the images out on the net I cant find all the letters im looking for. If someone knows what its called or has a copy I would love to know or have it please. Thanks Darryl

Well what I had done was sent the 2 quadrant back after a phone call and got a new one sent to myself and I went to set it up today and im getting the same problems. I have done as you did say "disable joystick from within FSX settings, and then assign and calibrate everything through FSUIPC." The problem im getting only on the new quadrant is when I calibrate in FSUIPC the rage is -16835 to 16835. when I try and calibrate it will go from -16835 0 then jump to 16835. The jump happens in the last say 2mm of movement 0 then 16835. In game controllers when I move the sticks I don't have the problems of them jumping. So I don't think its the controller as its been replaced so I have the same old problem with a new controller. I would love some help of this one please. Darryl

G'day Last week I got a new throttle quadrant pz45 to go with my Saitek pro flight yoke system that has a throttle quadrant as well. And today I made my centre console and fitted the 2 quadrants and now im getting lots of problems with FSX thinking the 2nd quadrant is a yoke. When I move the levers up and down the yoke in the plane will move. So I deleted the settings shut down FSX and start it back up and the same settings are back again. I ended up installing the Saitek software to see if this would fix my problems and it didn't so I removed that as well. I also deleted the control.xml to have FSX make a new one yet and im still getting all the same kind of problems only with the new quadrant plugged in. I don't know if its the new quadrant or what is going on with this. And for a test I used fsuipc to use the 2nd quadrant and the one with the red handel to set the flaps. The flaps worked just in reverse then I moved the left handel the black one that was not setup and that was moving the flaps as well even thou it was not setup to do so. Is there away I can clear all the settings for the controls as setting to default in FSX looks like its not even working. Or should I try the default with all yokes and quadrants and control.xml removed ? I really with love to know whats going on and how to fix it. Are you running win8 ? I was lucky to spend about 8 hours with one of the guys that done the beta testing and he did say the sound cutting out problem was a win 8 thing.

I have never had a problem with the ATR AP using FSX and its a really good plane to fly just its old. Flight 1 don't have plans for a new SP for it so if you have problems your kind of stuck with them. I can fly all my PW planes without problems and just sometimes the ATR to crash dll file. or even with programing the FMC.

G'day I have been looking around at some Saitek gear for my flight sim FSX and I would like to know if Saitek works with PMDG NGX, 747X Looking at getting Saitek Pro Flight Radio Panel PZ69 and Saitek Pro Flight Switch Panel PZ55 plus the Saitek pro flight multi panel PZ70. I just would like to know if most of the buttons will work as you would think they should. PMGD's are not your stock FSX jets. I do have plans to use it with other PW stuff Airbus and that other retarded 777 that's out till the PMDG one is done. I'm only asking for PMDG but if you happen to know if the new Aerosoft bus works it would be good to know and it would save me having to asked in the other forums. I do have the Saitek pro flight system and I know that all works. 1) PMDG 2) Aerosoft 3) well that's my problem Thanks Darryl

Thanks Carl doing what you say worked. I done lots of testing before posting back to say it works and now my PMDG is the best its ever been thanks.

G'day I just started to have a play with the paint kit for the NGX doing a cargo plane. I have the windows removed i just cant work out how to the part that looks 3D of were the windows would sit. So if someone has done a cargo NGX i would love to know how they are removed to have a flat clean skin. 2nd is there away to paint say a strip from the bottem of the fues to the front start of the tail and have it match up? I have spent lots and lots of hours trying to work this one out and its killing my head. Thanks for you help of you can. Regards Darryl

my NGX has a problem starting the engines with one will start up all the way and the 2nd will not. The thrust levers are moving in the VC, but N1 stays locked around 20.4% I'm using a Saitek Pro Flight setup. I can only have one engine running normal left or right, its the last engine that gets started thats having the problem. If the left engine is running and im starting the right i get the smoke puff from start up and thats all. Its become a real problem using VAFS as the engines need to be shut down to start the flight. The only way is to pick a plane thats running like stock 737 load everything i need to for VAFS then jump to the NGX and hit start flight. Most of the time the systems are still starting up and VAFS thinks the engines are not running and they just start up. Only happens if i have to start my engines but if i jump in the NGX with engines running i dont have the problem. I would love some help on this please. Darryl Prime

Yep it was not the card it was GIGABYTE OC_GURU or OC Guru II programe that came with the card. I removed the 660Ti and all the soft it came with and installed the 285 and had no problems. Installed the 660Ti only and it worked fine in my test then installed GIGABYTE OC_GURU problem came back right away. I did find even with it installed as long as it was running it would give me the same problems. Shut down GIGABYTE OC_GURU and no problems so i just removed it for good. I had seen the 660Ti run on my system with Orbx and all sliders 100% maxed out and it was smoking hot. So its time to install everything now i have worked out what was doing it. Yep all the views are wrong all missed placed and that dont have a thing to do with if the video card was setup of not. Its showing up like the CFG has had all the camera views changed. This is with every plane. The wheels are also sitting inside the runway so it looks like all the contact points are wrong. So i have just removed FSX and ill just take the new card out and go back to the old one as the problems only started with the new card.

Hi guys yesterday i went out and got myself a GTX660Ti 2GB card to get my FSX to run better. From that time i had big problems with my FSX as you can see in the video link. So when i have done was 100% clean install win7 64, Clean install FSX SP2, Clean install video drivers 304. And to my shock i have the same problem right away. The problem only started with the new card and drivers. Old card was a GTX285. FSX is 100% stock as im not going to install my addon's and still have the same problems. I was going to get a bigger PSU but the shop i got my card from told me the GTX285 used more power than the GTX660Ti. So im looking for some help as to why its like it now please. spec. i7 960 O/C 4.0 M/B EX58-UD3R 12GB 1800mhz ram Win7 64 SSD 240 - windows SSD 240 - FSX SP2 3 SATA drives. GB GTX660Ti 2GB card. PSU 550watt

Sorry for the late reply Thanks for that it works after reading you post over and over again trying to get it to work it now works. The hard part was to forget how i do all my other jets and use the RESET to have them blank. Regards Darryl

G'day I have been having lots and lots of problems to get my wilco Airbus to use twin throttles with my logitech G940 My throttle works with my Saitek pro flight on the one stick but i would like to have it work on my G940. I dont have problems with jets with 2,3 or 4 engines PMDG, Level-D only the Wilco Airbus and its been a real turn off with me not wanting to fly it. I can change it over to my G940 only after deleting my twin setup so all my othere planes will run with 1 stick only. IS there a way i can fix this or a work around to get it to work ? G'day I have a problem that started last night were all my flight gauges and buttons stopped working after restarting FSX. The only gauges that show up are engines and even AP, Alt hold, speed will not work. The only way i can get my gauges back and working is to load up my PMDG NGX have that start up them change over to like a Airbus. Even a stock B738 will have the same problem. CLS A330 will load with gauges just no AP, Speed and so on unless booted from NGX. A380 Overland using ISG1 gauges will have the same problems. GPS screen is blacked out on all planes unless coming from NGX I had this problem not long ago and all i did was just reinstall FSX but im trying to find out what making this happen. Just got to fly my 737 not for long but, The hole PC out the window and you should of seen it fly. Activate it so i stay up for 48 hours before work.

Its my 1st time with PMDG and it will be my last. over 4 hours to download only 640meg on super fast ADSL2+ and i cant even activate
