  1. A few miles off the coast of Greenland. About an hour later...!!CRASH!!...I hope I have fixed the issue, pretty sure it was an OOM - fingers crossed!
  2. Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport
  3. If you have overclocked it could be that, that is causing a shut down? I had constant BSOD's on my old system when under heavy load due to a bad overclock.
  4. Let me save some of the guys at PMDG a breath or two...development of such a massive project takes a lot and I mean A LOT of time to complete, you can't just wake up one day and expect to release this, there might be hundreds if not thousands of things to sort out that may be wrong or that need fixing! So just like the rest of us here patiently waiting for the SP and 300ER, please lets give PMDG a break from rude posts wanting them to hurry along and release the service pack because you're 'bored' of your highly complex 777!
  5. :p0814:  Congrats! :drinks: :p0814:
  6. She sure is as addictive as the NGX is. I love the two, can't wait for SP2 for the NGX and SP1 for the T7.
  7. I'd say go for EVGA, they have the best support out of any other. The GTX 780Ti is one heck of a BEAST!
  8. Its all a gamble when overclocking, you could get a good or a bad chip you never know, you might only get 4.2GHz out of it or you might get up to 4.7GHz you never know until you start to overclock.
  9. Well to be honest I prefer Corsair Link to any other temp monitor software I have used, but its personal preference! I set the fan speed's to full in the BIOS, the stock fans that come with the Corsair H110 are unbearably loud so I bought two Noctua 120mm fans to replace them, WOW, what a difference!! They're set to maximum performance and they're barely noticeable! Ofcourse there is some noise as the air passes through the radiator but its considerably better than the H110 stock fans. I have a total of 6 intake fans two of them being for the H110 radiator, and one Alpenfohn 180mm exhaust. Case airflow is superb!
  10. To be quite honest, I would stay away from Dell if you want a pre-built machine, you can save a considerable amount of money if you look towards someplace else that build computers to your needs. I had an Alienware Aurora 2008 model before I built my current machine, the quality of the Alienware wasn't that great, although they may have improved, the case wasn't really designed for airflow and more like looks, not to bash Alienware too much. You'd be better off researching places that you can get the same system you may be looking at for a much lower cost!
  11. Well I am sorry if I offended you, don't take it personally...
  12. If you have a Corsair Power Supply then you can use Corsair Link, its a pretty neat bit of software that gives accurate temps of every component in your case. My 4770K overclocked to 4.5GHz @1.25V never exceeds 70C when using FSX/P3D, it is cooled by the H110. For stability tests you can use Intel Burn Test, its a pretty neat stress test program that will stress test your overclocked CPU, if your computer blue screens then you need to go back to the BIOS and change a few things, once you pass 10 tests on Intel Burn Test then you can be sure that your overclock is stable.

  14. I remember back in July when the Asiana 777 crashed in SFO, some of the stuff the media were saying was just too funny! It really annoys me that they don't research the facts before they read them out!
  15. Great, it has installed into C:\ and doesn't show any sign of being in either Program Files/Program Files (x86). Thanks for your help guys, much appreciated!!
  16. Yes, I clicked on 'More Options' as following the PMDG FSX Installation guide. I can't figure out why it doesn't follow my command, I am admin.
  17. Recently I have been having a lot of trouble with FSX, from the Gameuxinstallhelper.dll not being found on installation (which I have now fixed) to this - I specifically told FSX to install to C:/Program Files, but it installs into C:/Program Files (x86). How do I tell it to install into C:/Program Files? I have set it in More Options in the installation process, but it just doesn't install in the specific area I told it to...
