    This could be related to C++. I had the descibed menu problem with the Level-D until I installed the PMDG 744 (CD version) which included the older version of C++ 2008 Redistributable. This eliminated the Level-D menu issue for me and both add-ons now run perfectly.Take a look...it may help.

    Jay,Try disabling the transparency option on your desktop theme. Right click on the desktop > personalize > window color. Un-check "enable transparency". See if that helps.

    Good link Jim.As a former regional jet pilot for one of the many crap operators in the US..who shall remain unnamed. It's nice to see someone make an effort to get those who may be considering this profession some straight answers. It's a very expensive and time consuming undertaking that can lead to a very disappointing outcome.Having a very clear understanding of all the facts, good and bad, is a consideration everyone deserves.

    Simon,The biggest benefit of the -400F upgrade is the addition of engine variant support. The freighter update will add custom Sound/Engine instrumentation to the PAX -400 version.I found it to be well worth the money by creating a more complete 744 model for FS9. Cheers,

    Jon,I don't use that add-on so I don't know how accurately they modeled the real aircraft. A real 172 average is about 8GPH all day, every day. But if you want to be very accurate you could go to any Pilot shop and purchase a C172 manual. The Performance section will have fuel flows to the tenth of a gallon for various altitudes and temperatures.

    Patrick,By "bug" do you mean the VNAV or SPD mode on the autopilot? Have you checked for conflicting key assignments? Check both FS assignments and PMDG assignments to be sure.

    Mark, The night textures on the UPS -400F are good as well. I'll send you a PM regarding sending the Manual texture I have.

    Mark,The night textures for the UPS -400BCF are good. Looks great now. On the -400F I did seem to be missing the UPS decal on the bottom of the nose. I over wrote it with a known good "decals" and all is well.Thank you again for taking the time to convert these for FS9. I hope you'll consider dual versions for all your paints.Cheers

    Hi Mark,Smashing job on the UPS -400BCF. Just two issues. 1) the pax windows are not blocked out on the main deck in the night textures. 2) the Virtual cockpit manuals were default PMDG; I overwrote these with a UPS manual texture from another UPS paint I had. This is not a big deal just thought I'd mention it in the spirit of being a good beta tester.I'll check out the -400F tomorrow and let you know.Thanks again for all your work.Cheers,

    Mark,Thank you for all your excellent work. Any chance we can get the new UPS paints in an FS9 version?

    Marco,If you are familar with AFCAD, check the runway/taxiway surfaces at the offending airports. If they are "Macadam" or "Tarmac", change them to Asphalt and see if that solves your problem.

    What is your weight Chris? Guessing from your TAT it's a warm night wherever you are. You may be a bit heavy for 350. The FMC will provide the optimum speed and altitude through out the flight if properly programmed. VNAV is your friend.

    Bernardo,FS9 or FSX? What joystick are you using and have you calibrated it since the problem began? A screen shot of the main and overhead panel would help if you can get one.

    Forgive an obvious question..you are disengaging the Autopilot and Autothrottle prior to landing?Please post full names in this forum per PMDG rules.
