  1. Bert, if you put your mouse over the RXP 530 in the panel and click it, will it popup into a window? flya150
  2. If this is to have RXP integration, I hope Carenado will not do what they did on the c210. The default carendo 530 had a working toggle window allowing you to click the GPS screen to pop it into its own window. They did not allow for a toggle popup working on their default 430. The RXP GPS units would not allow you to have a working toggle popup either, so all you can do is pop it up with a shift key. They basically have killed a function built into the RXP GPS units that allow for a click spot to popup the GPS. As for a weather gauge I for one do not like to lose performance for some eye candy. Also please include a set of lower resolution textures for folks with mid to lower end systems. I hope you will keep this aircraft on the light side so that people with out rocket speed computers can enjoy this too.flya150
  3. Well, I just installed this and yes you did replace the RXP popup with shft1 for the RXP530, but still not able to click the RXP530 / 430 on the panel and have it pop up with either your toggle window or the rxpcfg.ini file. It seems I wasted my time with my detailed post regarding this issue. I'm guessing you have something in your model tied to this area for piracy protection and now you guys have messed up the ability to have a toggle window over the RXP screen and your default 430 screen. I don't see any thing at ALL better with this patch. I guess if you want things done right you got to just do it yourself.flya150
  4. Hi Ron, Here is one way you could do it. Have your friend open an account over at flightsimstore.com. Then buy some storebucks send him the amount needed to his registered email and he can use the storebucks to buy the aircraft. I belive the flightsim store has all the latest Caranado planes except the new one, the c210. I'm sure thery will be getting that soon. Hope it works out for you.flya150
  5. Hi Bert, thank you for your reply. I have created the two popup windows as shown in my example and have the rxpgns.ini in the proper folder location all the idents are correct. I think this aircraft has something in the model that is prevent a toggle popup to work. with the RXP installation. I no longer get the small magnifier glass over the GPS. The only GPS that will popup is the Default Carenado 530 when installed. flya150
  6. The C210 is a nice aircraft to fly. I think Carenado did a nice job here with this one, however there is one issue I see with the RXP GPS option. That is the Pop Up windows do not work as they should. The Default Carenando GPS530 will popup when clicked on, the 430 will not. The RXP 530 and 430 will not popup when clicked on either.Below is a diagram from the RXP GNS WAAS user guide with information on the click spots. An “RXPGNS.ini” file needs to reside in your Carenado Centurion T210 folder, this allows for the popup and other functions setup in your GNS WAAS FSX Config tool.1- Navigation Device selection: The click spot cycles the available navigation devices when clicked with the right mouse button.2 - Autopilot mode: The click spot cycles the GNS/Autopilot link modes when clicked with the right mouse button. Available modes are Off, HDG and NAV.3- Contrast: The GNS WAAS 430XP/530XP screen contrast is adjusted with this click spot, in a range from 0.3 to 1.5. The middle mouse button (wheel push) resets the contrast to 1.0.4 and 5 - Radios Sets swap: The click spot swaps the radios set between COM1/NAV1 and COM2/NAV2 when clicked with the right mouse button.6 - Autoresize: The click spot resizes the GNS to the gauge original size and aspect ratio when clicked with the right mouse button if the gauge is displayed in a popup window. The middle mouse button (wheel push) resets the aspect ratio only.7 - Popup: The click spot toggles the popup window. The Left and Right mouse buttons operate two different popup idents configured in the RXPGNS.INI file. GNS WAAS Config automatically configures the click spot for proper operation.8 - Export Flight Plan: Using the right mouse button on the click spot exports the active flight plan in a Flight Simulator compatible file. The flight plan filename contains the UTC date and time and is saved in the following folders:There will also need to be a window for each GPS in your panel file.Example: [Window00]Background_color=255,255,255 size_mm=520,378window_size_ratio=1.000 position=0visible=0ident=15531window_size= 0.360, 0.438window_pos= 0.015, 0.020zorder=0gauge00=rxpGNS!GNS530, 0,0,520,378---------------------------------------------------------------------------------[Window01]Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=545,300window_size_ratio=1.000 position=0visible=0ident=15431window_size= 0.345, 0.255window_pos= 0.650, 0.020zorder=0gauge00=rxpGNS!GNS430_2, 0,0,545,300-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------There also must be a RXPGNS.ini file in the “Carenado Centurion T210” folderExample: [GNS530]Popup=15531AutoPilotMode=2Radios=1LinkCdiKey=OnAutoCdiMode=0AutoApproach=OffLinkVor=1LcdStyle=OffAutoWidth=500AutoHeight=360Trainer=C:\Microsoft Games\Garmin\GNS400W-500W TrainerNoKeyClick=OffDisableRxTx=OffAutoPowerOn=OffAutoRadiosOff=OnGndSpdFromDeltaLatLon=OffAutoCourse=OnLinkObs=OnShadinFuel=OnRadioSyncMode=FullBrightness=-1.000000CrossFill=OnTCAD=OnTaws=OffTawsVolume=60TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_NEG_CLIMB_RATE=TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_OBST_IMPACT_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_OBST_CLEARANCE_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_TERR_IMPACT_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_TERR_CLEARANCE_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_OBST_IMPACT_WRNG=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_OBST_CLEARANCE_WRNG=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_TERR_IMPACT_WRNG=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_TERR_CLEARANCE_WRNG=0CPU=0HardwareDevice=OffHardwareIdx=0FuelType=0[sETTINGS]Dimmer=OffSimpleMouse=OffKeyOnFocus=On[GNS430]AutoPilotMode=2Radios=1LinkCdiKey=OnAutoCdiMode=0AutoApproach=OffLinkVor=1LcdStyle=OffAutoWidth=500AutoHeight=210Trainer=NoKeyClick=OffDisableRxTx=OffAutoPowerOn=OffAutoRadiosOff=OnGndSpdFromDeltaLatLon=OffAutoCourse=OffLinkObs=OnShadinFuel=OnRadioSyncMode=FullBrightness=-1.000000CrossFill=OffTCAD=OffFuelType=0Taws=OnTawsVolume=60TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_NEG_CLIMB_RATE=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_OBST_IMPACT_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_OBST_CLEARANCE_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_TERR_IMPACT_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_TERR_CLEARANCE_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_OBST_IMPACT_WRNG=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_OBST_CLEARANCE_WRNG=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_TERR_IMPACT_WRNG=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_TERR_CLEARANCE_WRNG=0CPU=0HardwareDevice=OffHardwareIdx=0[GNS430_2]Popup=15431AutoPilotMode=2Radios=2LinkCdiKey=OnAutoCdiMode=0AutoApproach=OffLinkVor=2LcdStyle=OffAutoWidth=500AutoHeight=210Trainer=C:\Microsoft Games\Garmin\GNS400W-500W TrainerNoKeyClick=OffDisableRxTx=OffAutoPowerOn=OffAutoRadiosOff=OnGndSpdFromDeltaLatLon=OffAutoCourse=OnLinkObs=OnShadinFuel=OnRadioSyncMode=FullBrightness=-1.000000CrossFill=OnTCAD=OffFuelType=0Taws=OnTawsVolume=60TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_NEG_CLIMB_RATE=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_OBST_IMPACT_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_OBST_CLEARANCE_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_TERR_IMPACT_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_TERR_CLEARANCE_CAUT=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_OBST_IMPACT_WRNG=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_OBST_CLEARANCE_WRNG=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_IMMINENT_TERR_IMPACT_WRNG=0TAWS_ALRT_TYPE_REDUCED_TERR_CLEARANCE_WRNG=0CPU=0HardwareDevice=OffHardwareIdx=0[GTX327]AutoStandBy=OnAutoStandByDelay=24VFRCode=1200AltitudeFormat=FLFlightTimerMode=CLEARAcftType=LESS_15500FlightTimer=0.000000CountUpTimer=0.000000CountDnTimer=0.000000CountDnTimerRef=0.000000AutoPowerOn=AltBrightness=-1.000000[GMA340]Brightness=-1.000000I hope that Carenado will restore this ability to have popup windows as Reality XP designed it.Flya150
  7. Very nice update, Blike. will you be updating the one on OzX website to this version for us?flya150
  8. It's not so much the HD textures but the Weather Radar gauge that is causing the performance hit. When the 340 was first released prior to the service pack update, the weather radar was broken and therefore did not work. The aircraft loaded quicker and FPS was higher along with other performance gains. Once the Radar gauge was fixed with the release of the service patch it slowed the load time etc. I don't know what your computer specs are but Mine are not very high. I have a q9300 at 2.5ghz | 4g Ram | Nvidia 8800 GTX 768mb | win7 64bit. I have a number of Carenado aircraft and this one seems to be the one that is slower on my system. I have other aircraft with HD textures and they work just fine. For those that have rocketship PC's well they may come and tell you to quit complaining. But Just put it in your hanger for now and when you upgrade you will be able to enjoy it as it was ment to be.. flya150
  9. I wouldn't call them exactly round. :( flya150
  10. I sent an email regarding this issue to Carenado yesterday they quickly responded and said it will be updated in a couple days. Don't hold your breath. I hope I'm not ventingflya150
  11. That is true Bill. It would take writing a new model to include new 2d gauges. This is why I would rater have an airplane with 2d gauges. Then I have the flexability to retrofit it with my liking. Lets say an airplane has no AP and comes with just a Gyro. If they are 3D gauges well then I'll be flying manually at all times. Now I could add popups but that 's not as nice as having the HSI in the panel. I know there are many that like the 3D gauges and I can respect that. The only one I have that I can read the gauges with out an eye strain is the Milviz 310. Other than that they all look like they have some kind of anti Aliasing thing about them. Maybe developers like 3d gauges to keep people from using their gauges in other aircraft, I don't know. I know that the F1Pilatus will not allow you to use their MFD in any other aircraft except the Pilatus due to CP. Maybe it's easier and less time consuming to develope gauges in XML. I'm not a gauge developer so just speculating. flya150
  12. Also agree, The airspeed indicator can not be read at 40 zoom. I really don't see why some people have gotten excited over so called 3d gauges when now your stuck with what you got. One thing I can say is Milviz did a better job with the clarity of their 3d gauges on the c310. I personally would rather not have 3d gauges. the 3d knobs are also another problem as they are more difficult to click and turn too. Just my 2 cents.flya150

  14. Here is my panel retro using Reality XP's GNS530W, GTX327, GMA340 and Flight1 Pilatus PC12's KX165A NAV/COM2 along with KR87 ADF I also swaped the Autopilot with the Milviz c310's AP and have a popup for that too. Thanks goes out to Bert for your info on the GPS and more.flya150
  15. Hi Bert, Can the dual 430's be replaced by a single RXP530w with out issues? flya150
  16. I don't think they need to supply another model, just a set of 1024 textures for each paint. And possibly some 1024 textures for the fallback folders. For example the texture.Common or texture.Base folders.flya150
  17. I'm using them in the Bonanza. They work great! You will need to add them in your aircraft.cfg file in the Lights section. Here are mine for the Bonanza.[lights]//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landinglight.0 = 3, -1.4, -15.4, 1.7, Fx_shockwave_navred,light.1 = 3, -1.4, 15.4, 1.7, Fx_shockwave_navgre,light.3 = 3, -19.15, 0.0 , 1.8, fx_navwhiefetres,light.4 = 5, 5.2, 0.0, 0.39, Fx_shockwave_landing_light_short,light.5 = 2, -1.0, -15.2, 1.6, Fx_shockwave_strobe,light.6 = 2, -1.0, 15.2, 1.6, Fx_shockwave_strobe,light.7 = 1, -9.5, 0.3, 3.2, fx_beaconefetres, //1, -9.6, 0.4, 3.2, fx_beaconefetreslight.8 = 10, -2.0, 0, 2.50, fx_vclightefetresflya150
  18. I have both the FSX 500 and RXP530W installed in most my GA props. If I need to use a FSX generated flightplan I'll save the Nav Log as a PDF, open it in my PDF kneeboard and plug in the waypoints. I can also save it to the GPS for future use. The RXP530w saves up to 19 flightplans. The reason I have the FSX 500 is for the use of terrain map and occasional different aproaches etc. Also I use the FSX 500 for Australias Ozx airports with the BGL files for dirrect to routes to them. There is a alot of information in the RXP530W. You have your trip planning fuel planning density altitude winds TAS VNAV Terrain alletrts WAAS approaches and so much more there. I am getting the full use out of it. Also, you can only use one or the other GPS at a time. To use the default 500 you click a spot on the bottom of the RXPGNS530W to switch to default FSX Nav database. This allows you to use the 500. To go back you click it again and swith back to RXP.flya150
  19. It's on the top of the outer left knob to left slightly. It took me a bit to find it but it's there. I think its a very small click spot. It should have been placed in the center of the inner knob and then pushed to switch fom Nav to COM.
  20. I gave that a test last night. It turns the taxi light off after take off, but it did not turn it back on appon landing. Is that the way it supposed to work? Maybe it's supposed to turn it on too.flya150
  21. Bill, I'm sure you would make that one look as good as your Jaguar. The colors remind me of the Red and white dreamfleet Dakota. By the way, The new Jag is flying nicly in free and multiplay environment. Thanks again for a beautifull well done paint.flya150
  22. I belive that is the MX20 from simflyer. Unfortantly it dose not display the flight plan course when using RXP gps. It requires a gps using default FSX nav data for it to do that.flya150
  23. Hi Bert, I was able to extract the files needed for the tweak, but how do you put them back into a .CAB file?flya150
