  1. Just one question, is that new interior the actual interior configuration of the owner of N497C or is it a fictional idea? Just curious!
  2. What can I other say than just "WOW" and many many thanks for your brilliant work!
  3. Many thanks for sharing with us! Will take her for a ride today! :drinks:
  4. Bill, sorry for my missleading infos. Please leave your InfoBrakesEnable at TRUE ... so you can see your breakes-actions in the sim. No Need to add the HideInfoText , I just wanted you to make sure you have no such entries to be able to see all the red info-text for nailing down a calibration-problem. You had it setup right just from the start! No need to change anything! Cheers!
  5. I also forgot to mention that you should allways plug in your devices in their SAME Usb ports on your PC every time to keep their calibrations perfect and steady!
  6. That looks terrific good! Cannot await to start my Malibu again with this special repaint after having done so many hours with the B200 and C90B! Thanks for sharing this with us!
  7. Hi Bill, doing the takeoff run in a kingair isn´t that easy in the sim and in real life. Besides of good calibrated controllers as others adviced here allready (rudders and all the prop- and powerlevers if you have a quadrant) ... for the takeoff use first toebrakes, advance powerlevers gently forward until both props are on full high rpm (C90b 2200rpm / B200 2000rpm) then release the toebrakes let her go, keep lined up with the rudders and adcance the power to max without overtorquing, try to keep left and right torque quite sync. By this technique the kingair should keep quite good in line with the runway in sim and reallife. PS: Some years ago I had the problem of a "flickering" toebrake on my CH Rudder pedals, there seemed to be some contact loss in the mechanic and it caused some left toe braking without even touching it. You could see that by a flickering red ingame message "brakes" , if it is not turned off in the fsx.cfg by the user. So I could recommend to take a glance into the fsx.cfg and look for modified lines of "InfoBrakesEnable=False" or "HideInfoText=1" just to verify you SEE the brakes action in the sim and this will also help you to see how much "pressure" it takes for you on the toebrakes untill the brakes get really enabled in the sim. If they are set too sensitive just a bit of pressure on them will enable them allthough you just wanted to use the rudders, maybe at a takeoff-run ?!? Just some thoughts! Cheers!
  8. ... SOP for Carenado ? Sorry for my missunderstanding? Won´t Carenado finish the TBM-package??? (Don´t want to start rumors) Regarding the Computer you are right, but the BIGGEST worry is not the buying BUT the reinstalling and spending days of days to get to the point where I left my old rig ... with my family and kids I cannot afford being 48 hrs at one part infront of my pc and having a BAD mood of installing and replacing files and fixing EZDOK , FSUIPC , repaints, UTX , GEX , REX, Aerosoft, Flylogic, LLH and and and ...O...M...G! :t0116:
  9. That would be indeed fantastic news as I am still no fan of full glass cockpits despite of the framerate hit they might give in FSX. I´ve seen some "mixed" cockpits of the TBM 850 (glass / old Steam gauges), you can do a google search here: http://www.google.de...iw=1920&bih=962 Cheers!
  10. Hi, if the upcoming TBM 850 will have the same bad G1000-performance like the SR22 then it will be the first time to hold back from a Carenado-beauty ... it´ll be a show stopper. If we have a nearly fully funtional G1000 simulation like F1 nearly provide there is a justified reason to have some bigger system demands, but if some features are left out, you could hope for a better performance. And a suggestion to turn off the avionics for better performance is rediculous, like somewhere else allready mentioned. I am really dissapointed about the Carenado´s G1000 performance and makes me cry to have to cancle myself from the TBM of these reasons! Still cannot believe why some other 3rd party devs make it happen to have a fluid G1000 entertainment in their addons without ANY FPS-loss, just look at a known EPIC-Jet / -Turbo or Kodiak! I really hope Carenado will read these complaints and tweak their avionics!
  11. Hi Eugene, no I did not do this with this particular aircraft, as I like the volume as it is ... but you should look at the files having "prop" and "rpm" in their names ... without the "X" which stands for the extrenal sound files, which I guess you are ok with them. Regarding the amount of lifting up the volume is tryout and like / dislike ... you can hear the difference in the tool after you made the adjustment ... but I would make a big backup of the original sound-folder before all that. You surely have to get a bit comfortable with such a sound editing software, but lifting the volume is not a very difficult task.
  12. Hi all, allthough I think the Carenado sounds are pretty close to the real thing, as the cabin of the B200 is very very quiet (compared to a C90 or a Cheyenne e.g.), you can compare with various Youtube videos, I can highly recommend the TSS King Air Sound HD Package, which works great together with both the B200 and the C90B. Can be found at simmarket or flightsim store for about 14 USD ... worth every penny! There is also a show of it on youtube. Another option would be to download the freeware tool audacity and raise up the volume of the urging sounds ... 15 to 30 minutes of easy "work" ... the tool is great! Cheers and have a great weekend!
  13. ;-) this is getting better and better ... thanks again!
  14. Wow that looks really nice, good find!! Thanks! ^_^
  15. Hi there, I would totally agree to have a lite version, but I guess the problem is not produced by the extensive use of HD textures, the problem is the construction of the G1000 ... if you turn the battery on an fire up the G1000 the frames will drop without doing anything, no veiw moving, without that unit, it is perfect! So in my opinion only reducing the texture size of the aircraft itself will probably not cure the problem we are talking here about. I am just wondering so much why the Carenado Malibu (also HD textures btw.) with having also a quite complex G500 glasscockpit is BY FAR MUCH LESS system demanding than the SR22. In the Malibu I do NOT even realize having it turned on, my frames stay perfect there ?! So there must be a lot of differences in the coding of carenado´s G500 and 1000 ... I can also still not figure out what option causes the hughe system demand of the SR22 G1000 ... can´t see any real differences in switching e.g. traffic, map-mode or decluters etc. on/off ... Cheers!
  16. great to hear it fits your needs! Cheers!
  17. Go to the avsim library ---> Library sign in page --> Category Avsim File Library --> search for Carenado Sr22 ... that was my way to find it today.
  18. Just downloaded and tried, just great sound you did! Many many thanks to you !
  19. Wow  that sounds VERY cool! Cannot await to fly these! Cheers!
  20. Ray that looks great like allways! Looking much forward to that!
  21. Hi, these values aren´t for the intensity ... they are coordinates where they are located at the aircraft. At the end stands a fx-file that will be used for the respective light , e.g. from your lines: Light.0 ..... fx_vclightcarnB Take a look at this post here (post #9) where I investigated some parameters for some optional lights. They use the "default-carenado" lights / fx-files ... so if you have some "older" Carenado FSX releases you might be good to use these as they are ... as an option you can assign them to e.g. shockwave-Lights (payware) or the FSX-default lights if you like, maybe take the FX-files for the navs from the default baron or C172 or from any other payware-addon you have and like the lights. http://forum.avsim.n...s/#entry2501689 Cheers!
  22. there is a Lancair Legacy soundset from ArezOne at simmarket, teach me wrong but this Sr22 GTSx Turbo should have the same type of engines like the Lancair Legacy  or if you own the original RealAir Lancair Legacy one could try out to alias the sounds from her? I personally also have the Cirrus and I really like that little beast. First I wanted to skip her this time, but I am happy I was too curious on her and do not regret the purchase. I normally now tend to keep the original Carenado sounds, with the "newer" releases as they most of time turn out to be quite good indeed after all (for my taste) , maybe we need to wait for the next two "obligatory" SPs from Carenado to have that fixed <_< ... but again nice little aircraft we have here, a good release (for my first impressions) for my needs and for the purpose I wanna use this plane! Cheers!
  23. Hi Al, first ensure the Quadrant is well calibrated in Windows before doing so in FSUIPC. And plug allways into the same USB port on your pc all the time, this will keep a good calibration. Do not assign the CH-quadrant to any levers in the FSX own setup menue, only assign in FSUIPC! You can assign its buttons in FSX-setup indeed! In the FSUIPC calibration don´t calibrate the levers in a completely FULL forward position, try to take them some few millimeters back from full forward and do then the calibration for max forward. If you made some sync settings in the FSUIPC calibration, delete them. Hope that helps!
  24. Hi Pete, I am using an old school GTX285 (don´t know the exact driver numbers) and have very clear and sharp gauges in these planes. I use dx9 and nVidia Inspector and set it up by the various found instructions found on avsim forums (Nick Needham). Are you using a grafixtool like the "Injector tool" or enb-mod ... as there could be set some parameters that could cause a blurring effect ... e.g. the "Injector Tool" causes unsharp gauges in my case in these KingAirs, so I do not move these. Just a thought!
