  1. Hi Izo, I made a new dimmer texture, will post soon!
  2. Hi Bob, thanks for the info, allready installed it and I think it is a great SP2 indeed! Much needed! But I am still keen on your great refinements in the works! B)
  3. Hi Roland, I did it another way, but this should do the trick: 1.) get the SP2 update from the Carenado Account. 2.) go to the FSX/gauges folder and unpack the file GAUGEB200.CAB to a folder named GAUGEB200 3.) rename GAUGEB200.CAB into GAUGEB200.ORG 4.) put the "new" extracted folder inside FSX/gauges/ 5.) go inside the "new" FSX/gauges/GAUGEB200 folder and look for the file Gauge_CLOCK_DIG.xml 6.) open it with notepad and search for "wing" ----> you find: 1 (>L:VIS_WINGLET_ON,bool) 7.) Chang this line to: 0 (>L:VIS_WINGLET_ON,bool) 8.) save the file , you are finally done! Have fun!
  4. Vic, good idea, the B200 is capable of pretty long distances for one leg. Thanks for the info!
  5. Hi Steffen, try to disable the vc instrument reflections via the Shift+5 menu! Grüße nach Berlin!
  6. Jankees, that is very kind of you! Thanks a lot! Cheers!
  7. Yankee thanks for your contribution with these great liveries! As I follow every of your post to not miss a release of yours I know you are filled up with requests, but as I am a patient boy I will nevertheless ask you if you might think of putting this wonderfull livery on your list  ?!? I allready made a post in this forum. http://forum.avsim.n...t-request-b200/ Keep up your work and I am eagerly awaiting the F-GICA ! Cheers!
  8. That is just great! Wonderfull repaint!
  9. Hello everyone, I just liked these topics in the Malibu and C90B forum and thought why not just continue with the B200?! B) Having a good time and fun with the B200. This flight was in the morning from Reykjavik BIRK to Hofn Hornafjord BIHN via a short stop in Akureyri BIAR using the Aerosoft Iceland Scenery and jfab45´s great repaint F-HEAL, many thanks to him! Takeoff in Reykjavik and below FL100 onto Akureyri Second lap from Akureyri to Hofn Really enjoying this bird! Also wonderfull highly recommended scenery especially in the wintertime! Thanks for watching!
  10. I am sorry, as I posted in a hurry yesterday and as I copy/pasted the identical not differing lines from my original post in the B200 forum there are some typos above:  It must be the following instruction: -> RXPGNS.INI (create with notepad and copy into it, place into the Carenado C90B/panel folder) -> RXPWX500.INI (create with notepad and copy into it, place into the main Carenado C90B folder) I am sorry for any inconvenience!
  11. No Problem! A pleasure! Here is the link for the C90B Wx500 GNS430 retrofit! http://forum.avsim.n...wx500-retrofit/ Have fun!
  12. Hello everybody, on my now mid-range PC the Avidyne Unit is the most power hungry and FPS killing gauge in the C90B and also is in the B200. If I completely powered it off in the vc and 2D gauge then I have a very fluid and pleasing experience, back at "full FPS" in my case, so I decided to cut it out and replace it with the RXP Wx500 device, which gives still a realistic look and feel to the panel .... and besides of the Avidyne own Wx-radar , it shows allways the weather in my case. Carenado, I really like your Avidyne Unit, but for me it is a fun killer to see frames be cut by 10 FPS when using it! This is just an idea how to get some of the performance back if you can live without that unit. Here are some screenshots (note: when taking these screenshots I had nearly clear sky, so no weather to display on the radar ^_^ ) : Known Issue: ========== I had to use the noframe=on option for the WX500 gauge to have it nicely fitting into the vc and without greying out. That means the 2D popup has also no frame where you could see the knobs and buttons. BUT when hovering the mouse over the black 2D gauge frame green sections will illuminate to help you to find the right knobs to turn on and buttons to change range etc.... ! If anybody has a better solution for this Workarround please throw in a comment!!! Below are the needed config entries, please allways BACKUP original files! In order to use these exact enries you must own the RelityXP GNS 430 and Wx500! ========================================================================================================== Panel.cfg 13. Will do soon Russ! But I must say that the performance gain is also connected to have TWO Rxp GNS Units as these Rxp units eat much less of performance as the Carenado/FSX native do! I personally run all my RXP units on the first core of my quad CPU (RXPGNS.ini -> CPU=1) and let FSX run only on Core 2,3,4 (affinitymask=14) .... so a lot of stutters are reduced or even gone! Works for some years like a dream! So having the RXP unlimited pack still makes lot of sense allthough the Rxp GNS works now with RXP Version 1.6 good together with the FSX-native GPS!
  14. Wow Bob, what should I say ... that is incredible work you do for us here!!! many thanks!
  15. Hi dear friends! Being a long fellow member of the good old Aeroworx forum and also being an olddays Aeroworx alpha/beta-tester I can say that systems-simulation Henning achieved in the Aeroworx B200 was just second to non. The AWX B200 was in a LONG production time, formerly built for FS2002, in production time rewritten and recoded for FS2004 CoF and released in the end for FS2004. Henning and his team put so much heartbleed in this release you could see that in nearly every bit, started from the panel, the gauges, the VC (in these FS2004 times one of the best IMHO) and the great exterior. Allthough I am as you can see very biased as I also put very much of my free time into the B200 when beta-testing ... I somehow had to abandon the AWX B200 and FS2004 with a big aching heart and long after FSX was released, as time and FSX-Versions moved on and I wanted to be able to get all the new features of FSX. Importing the AWX B200 into FSX was a pain and made me cry after seeing the result when doing so. A long long time of suffering and waiting passed and now I am able to fly these beautifull aircrafts virtually again with the Carenado C90B and B200 creations, on top of the possibilities what can be visually done in now days! You cannot compare Carenado with Aeroworx .... every developer has it´s own targets where to put all their efforts in when producing addons. Henning from Aeroworx spent LOTS of hours if not years to reproduce his version of the B200 whereas Carenado have a list of aircrafts they want to built with both very beautifull visual and entertaining purpose and their new FDE´s by Bernt Stolle bring them to a great realistic life and feel. So if you ask me which I like more, it is not possible to answer ... I love all of them, Henning / Aeroworx for giving me the chance of being part of a great project and giving me the "simulation-time- of my life" and for sure Carenado for making me FEEL again back in these times after soooo long by giving us a beautifull B200 and even a C90B! I personally cannot thank Carenado too much for that! .... to come back to the topic: So if you read above, importing the AWX B200 into FSX won´t give you much of satisfaction when doing so, lots of special codes do not work, some gauges do not work at all, visually there are a lot of glitches inside and outside the aircaft .... all these things will surely not give you in FSX the love and feel to the product I was adoring in the text above ...
  16. Hello Bob, thank you so much for giving us options and for your contribution to this IMHO after SP1 wonderfull bird! BTW as loyal customers don´t we all learn pretty much how to help ourselves and customize FSX-stuff after all ?! I personally see that as a BIG plus!
  17. Many thanks! Will fly her this weekend on my Iceland tour!
  18. Hey that looks awesome! But a great last fix would be to swap the "B" on the rudders as it is mirrored wrongly ... but besides that it is very nice! Will download soon!
  19. Wow that´s a fantastic fix! Thanks Bob!
  20. Oh yes ... what a beautyfull livery! Great find!
  21. Thanks Pierre! will put in again! Sorry for my missleading info!
  22. Dear Bert, after SP1 this code doesn´t seem to work anymore as they are off as default now  ... any idea how to make that switch work indeed? Thought It would work vice versa ... but no luck! I am just keen on this switch as you are able to make default winglet and non-winglet models just by different panel.cfgs . Thanks for any help!
  23. Hi all, these fixes are allready incorporated into the B200 SP1! No need to put in anymore! Whereas the C90B still needs them!
  24. Hi everyone, I did a long research about the B200 engine noise. Now after all I got back to the Carenado sounds from the (indeed great) TSS sounds. The B200 is siginificant calmer than a C90, the cabin has been constructed with this intention surely besides others. I found this video in youtube, it was taken by a video-camcorder positioned behind the pilots and thus of course WITHOUT any NR-headset and if you ask me it definately sounds pretty close to the Carenado-B200-sounds!!! So IMHO Carenado do really take care of details when creating addons, this was no bug or anything, it was totally intended to sound like this! E.g. you can hear the clicks being rather loud compared to the engine noise .... etc... Btw many thanks to the Video-author for all his great KingAir videos he put onto youtube for us enthusiats! The only complaint I would have is that the aircondition beeing too loud. You can help yourself by reducing volume with some freeware tools like audacity or simply just replacing the sound with an aircondition-file from any other addon you might have using an aircondition. Theses "extra" - sounds are found in the FSX/sound- folder and the corresponding subfolder for any special addons and for the Carenado B200 the subfolder SoundCarb200 - folder and the concerning file is AC.wav (Subfolder SoundCarb for the C90B if you have) . Happy simming!
