  1. Same here , 120 - 130kts on approach and blue line on threshold she lands like a dream as said before herself! Even if I am a bit too high on final I can pull trottles to flight idle and push her down steeply without gaining too much speed as the props will give you a good break at flight idle! And don´t forget to give her power again when "leveled" back again or she will sink like an elevator! Great FDE!
  2. Kevin just wonderfull! WOW Thank you so much and please keep the repaints coming, she deserves it!
  3. WOW! Nice :Hypnotized: .... ehm for me the first copy please ! :Peace:
  4. I can only second that! Bernt, your magic touch on the FDE makes this plane and your others unique and exceptional! I allways appreciated your fantastic work and will support your upcoming work as allways my friend!!!
  5. The Pa46T Malibu does the same, well only in Tower and flyby view. There are some other vendors addons that do this behavior too. I think it has something to do with the "new" light beeing introduced giving a more realistic shine and no triangles on ground.
  6. Ahh ... sorry didn´t see, I use a Goflight TQ6 and so I don´t have this problem.
  7. Wow Glenn ... i can just say you hit the nail perfectly! I hope everyone will readout your sense of diplomacy!
  8. I also did the fix into the sound.cfg but I think it get overwritten in the SP1 and also many other sound files get installed and replaced. All is fine here on my SP1 install. An idea: you can install the C90 SP1 exe file into a temp directory, there you will see all the files that will get installed in FSX normally. You can try to manually install the sound files into your C90-sound folder and see if that may work?! Or: uninstall the C90 , delete all C90 folders remaining and then do a fresh install from your previous vanilla C90 installer and install SP1 afterwards, do backups of all your "mods" and changes prior to this and remod it bit by bit after sp1 is installed WITHOUT the sound fix! (I would recommend this way)
  9. Hi Bill, I more often expirience this behavior to more other payware addons I have, not only Carenado. It happens since I installed Ultimate Traffic II , maybe it is your case too. Allthough I have turned everything off in the Avionics, they will start occasionally when I am parked, EFIS etc get lit, you even hear the gyro spool up and you can listen to the ATC. After some seconds or minutes all is back off again ... spooky! :Hypnotized: I am not sure if it is really UTII related, but it could be in the way UTII injects its traffic into fsx, which is different to others.
  10. The most of us will know that there was a very famous and great achieved B200 for FS2004, I just loved it ... and don´t get me wrong ... the B200 is a wonderfull bird, but it was allways the C90 which got most of my attention.
  11. Not sure, if you put the props into full feather right after shutdown, what I think a lot of RW C90-Drivers do, then they stop rather quick, but to be honest I have no personal experience how fast or long it should realy take.
  12. Hello John, I cannot confirm on the white boxes arround the lights anymore ... had them in the vanilla release, but after SP1 it is gone. I personally think it also might got something to do with addons like "SHADE" or the "emb series mod" ?!
  13. Hi Carenado, thank you for making this great plane even more enjoyable with that SP1 ... nice 430 integration and nice to see most of the obvious bugs corrected! For me this is the winner from day-1 , but now I think after SP1 the "crowds" will love her the even more! And thank you Carenado for reading and listening the formus! :Peace:
  14. Hello dear fellow simmers, Since I began to start the flightsimming with MSFS 95 long ago I was longing and waiting for a high quality C90B King Air. The years and many other FS version passed and now after nearly 20 years of waiting in 2012 my dream came true by the Carenado C90B! Carenado, I thank so much everybody involved! Since I was was a small teenager I fell in love with this special plane ... till today I cannot tell why ... there were some few occasions in my young life when I was able to see and hear and smell the gasoline of this beauty ... somehow I got addicted to the C90B more and more. About 13 years ago I met a friend of my father, a very talented painter, and he did a wonderfull big oil painting for me of a nice alpine photo scene out of a flyingmagazine ... it was the D-IHSW , a typical C90B ... till that day the painting got its place right above my flightsimming desk and will stay there ... here it is: Here is the real world counterpart of it, more pics on airliners.net , tag " D-IHSW " : Now after having the wonderfull Carenado C90B available I am looking for a fine talented repainter willing to make this long tragical wait an ending and do this wonderfull repaint for me . Maybe somebody may take a look into this paintjob ... it will be most apreciated! Thanks for your time and interests and please excuse the long story above, just thought here would be the right place to ask. Cheers!
  15. Hi bert, I see you have a Waypoint-name DSD in your EHSI, so I think this is because of the upcoming GNS servicepack we could expect from RXP soon? I ask because I can only get the distances displayed but not the names of the WPTs! ;-) BTW, I did sucessfully integrate the RXP Wx500 into the Avidyne , saving a lot of FPS for me as the Avidyne is the frame-killer in my setup!
  16. The whine I didn´t realise it was missing, it is just a workarround to get the starting sequence with starting nr. 2 first! :Hypnotized: Maybe someone can confirm this fix and the whine-sound?!?
  17. Hey everybody, I fixed that sound problem: 1.) make a copy of the sound.cfg file !!! 2.) look for positions [COMBUST1.9] and [PROP1.0] 3.) now put these red lines in between of these two, overwriting the existing positions ... (these lines are missing in my opinion) ... should look somewhat like this [COMBUST1.9] etc............ [start2] filename=start flags=0 viewpoint=1 link=2xstart [2XStart] filename=2xstart flags=0 viewpoint=2 rparams=0.000000,1.000000,1.000000,1.000000 vparams=0.000000,50.000000,0.142857,50.000000,0.285714,50.000000,0.428571,50.000000,0.534216,52.127659,0.682119,56.382980,0.847682,64.893616,1.000000,74.468086 [combstart2] filename=startup flags=0 viewpoint=1 link=combstart2.1 [Combstart2.1] filename=2xstartup flags=0 viewpoint=2 panning=0 rparams=0.000000,1.000000,1.000000,1.000000 vparams=0.002208,67.021278,0.187638,78.723404,0.344371,84.042557,0.487859,89.361702,0.642384,91.489365,0.748344,94.680855,0.857000,100.000000,0.987000,100.000000 [PROP1.0] etc......................... Hope that helps and do backups!!
  18. I can confirm on the hit with the Avidyne, about 5 - 10 fps lost here in FSX. I use the "flightplan Log"-page and then the hit is only about 3 - 5 fps.
  19. Doesn´t seem Doesn´t seem to, but from the developers point of view I can understand it as the C90 has fixed Navs and Coms so IRL lots of C90s are equiped with the "GPS only"- garmin 400 - Unit without Nav/Com-knob to the left. So I think they wanted to keep it as real as possible and chosed that one, but I admit it would be a nice feature to give us RXP owners the option to retrofit, we only have to live with the "useless" Nav-Com-knobs. But we all can do a hopefull prayer that Bert could help us out with a selfmade retrofit !
  20. Will definately try to retrofit the Carenado with the RXP GNS 430 a second after the buy!
  21. :LMAO: Lifeguard! leave it as it is boy .... I am on my way with some friends for a big big foam-party in your hangar! BTW, I am anxiously scratching from left to right and back on my chair, waiting for a wonder to come true hopefully soon!
  22. The unlimited package is like a dream come true for the serious simmer .... and ..... I get much better framerates with the RXP GNS versions than with the default GNS .... it saves a lot of CPU power also!
  23. Thinking back on all the efforts and time Bernt spent into modeling the PT6-21er engines I think it is not as easy as one would expect to make a "mod" to these engines when you wanna keep the plane realistic in fsx´s limitations. I can also recall that the gauges would also have to be updated as they are signed different from the 21er ones.So under the line ... I don´t think it will be easy to do this and also having in the end the same grade of realism compared to the original release when doing such a mod ... and hence it is also a turboprop-engine-model, being the very tricky one to play arround with.Just my two cents! :(
  24. Wow Kurt ... I thank you ... that was a very nice informative lesson! Now I see clearer !! :Peace:Didn´t made a big head about this topic in the good old AWX B200 times :( .
