  1. Okay can you send me your settings? i'd love to see how it looks like
  2. okay i will try to upload it on youtube tonight !
  3. Thanks, and no kriva i promise NGX cockpit is not like the real one ! even if you move where your want and zoom as much as you want. It's simple the 3D model is viewed from a 2D monitor so the sizes of the cockpit are not the same !!Here is another shot :And here is the link for the video let me know if your have problems to see it : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10150574982994769
  4. Well from your viewpoint you see easily the overhead so the windshield seems to be really small !! the buttons of the EFIS display are small too, I think you would have to move your fs viewpoint a little more backward and a Zoom at 0.40-0.50 would be the best. But you will never get the real view in FS, the cockpit has not the right dimensions...I think it's not a PMDG problem but a FS one unfortunetly
  5. The scenery was really good, you know it's last generation sim so it was almost like in real! All the details were there ! i will upload soon the video of my flight so you can see by your self !
  6. Hello everyone,I'm an ATPL student in LFMT (France). Our school gave the opportunity to 20 of us to try a Full motion flight simulator of the 737-800 at Air Campus Simuflight Center in LFLL. It was the best day of my life !!The sim was made by Sim industries, a high quality dutch company. The cockpit was amazing like the real aircraft. When you sit in the captain's seat you realize that the cockpit is really small compared to what we see in flight simulator. All the switches were there !!I was easily able to start up the aircraft and then taxied to rwy 36L. The control columns were really hard and the tiller is really sensitive!! I didn't expect that. The take off was funny since the thrust was sticking me to my seat exactly like in real life. I made a circuit at 2000ft and then made a smooth landing. It was an amazing experience for me, the 737 is so nice to fly and it reacts perfectly to your inputs, you just have to trim it correctly otherwise it will be hard to move it :). Good job PMDG you're addon is perfect, so realistic, thanks to you we are able to fly real airliners :) Exept the windows haha, in the sim the distance between the mcp and the overhead was really small!!I hope you guys will be able to try a sim a day, it really worth it !!Again thank you PMDG !!
  7. Thank you very much Ryan, I'm in love with the NGX :)
  8. After making a lot of jumpseats in 737s, I observed that NGX windshield are too big compared to real NG. Also they are making a V shape that is not the same in real life. That's too bad cause your addon is wonderful and you just need to correct some small details. I hope you can do something for the windshield size included in the SP2
  9. Super thank you very much it works !
  10. Hello everyone, After installing the HF4 i got a font problem on my MCP and Pressurization panel. Then i uninstalled the aircraft and reinstalled it again with the new intaller, but it didn't solve the issue. Here is a screenshot to explain what happens. If someone has a solution...
  11. The aim of PMDG by releasing a so perfect and realistic addon is to teach you how to fly a real 737 not to invent procedures... Even if you don't have microbursts in FS...As Real As It Gets...
  12. VREF is not an APP speed but the speed at which you have to touch the runway. So considering the speed you loose on flare and the wind you have to add at least 5 kts to your VREF during approach. 5kts less is very dangerous, imagine if you have a micro burst.. Your aircraft will stall and crash
  13. No in real life i was in a lot of jumpseats and the pilots dont use their perf calculators for landing, they only set the vref value given by the approach page of the FMS. Normaly they land with flaps 30. But sometimes when they have a short runway or they have to vacate quickly and they are too heavy they use flaps 40. To make the FMC give you the most accurate VREF speed, you have to put accurate values for fuel and ZFW in the PERF page
  14. Only PMDG NGX with Latest patch!! dont forget to calculate carefully your Vref speed and you also have to put thrust on idle at 20ft AGL
  15. the gear off position is in the after flaps up flow!!
  16. Here are the Steps :ADD 40%N1 manually then press TOGAAt VR rotate the aicraft and climb at a speed of V2+15/20At 500ft AGL press LNAVAt 1500ft AGL (NADP1) or 1000ft AGL (NADP2), switch to cimb thrust and continue climbing at a speed of V2+15/20At 3000ft AGL accelerate to FLAPS UP SPEED and rectract flaps on schedule. When flaps up accelerate to 250ktsAt 10000ft accelerate to your scheduled Climb speed !
  17. Maybe you would have to check your HYD pumps?
  18. I completly agree with you, it's really a beauty. We finally had it!!Thank you PMDG!!!!!kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
  19. Not enough datas for the Leap-X engines i guess...
  20. Hello You have to use Xfeed when you have a fuel inbalance or an engine failure. 1) In case of fuel imbalance, for example you will have 2500Kgs in TANK 1 and 2000Kgs in TANK 2. So you open the crossfeed valve and then shutdown Right fuel pumps so the TANK 1 will supply both engines. Once you have 2000Kgs in TANK 1, turn on the Right fuel pumps and close the crossfeed valve. So magicly there wont be any fuel imbalance anymore!!2) In case of engine failure, for example Engine 1 shutoff. So open the crossfeed valve so both Tanks can supply Engine 2.That's it, i hope it helped you !Regards
  21. Thank you very much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Apu doesn't take much fuel but actually it takes fuel from LEFT AFT tank by default. So you only have to turn on the LEFT AFT fuel pump when APU is on the Bus !
  23. LVL CH let you choose a speed in the MCP, so the autopilot adjusts the rate of climb/descent to keep the speed you set in the MCP.ALT intervention is like when you go on CRZ page and change the altitude in the CRZ ALTITUDE...
