FSX 3D *WITHOUT* Nvidia 3D Vision or ATI iz3d !
2D to 3D conversion seems like an impossible technology to me.The only way could be including distance to objects in frames.I wonder how it's done and above all: how it looks. :(Do you have glasses with your Samsung tv?

Bp=0 sticky query
People please, this thread was about the BP=0 tweak with a multi monitor setup. :( Brucewtb, I did the tweak on my 3monitor setup without problems and I had a gain in fps.

Anthony, looking at your screenshots... what happens if you hit ALT-ENTER?You can't grab the sides and move them all the way to the left and right?

FSX in 3D
I saw some 3Dmovies on youtube and it's amazing!! But...What happens when the computer computes 30 fps?15 go to the left eye and 15 go to the right? Are you then left with slow graphics? (15 fps)In other words; do you need for 3D a computer twice as fast?I'd like to know that before I buy those 3D things.

FSX world scaling

FSX world scaling
"You immediately will recognize the differences." Sorry, i don't see no differences.Maybe you uploaded the wrong pictures? And there are 3 pictures so which are true or false?Last thought; i find it strange that True or False makes such a difference in fps. That's good to remember and check out.

FS2004 & 3 monitor setup?
Kogacarlo replied to Egbert Drenth's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcI run 3 monitors in 2 resolutions of one Nvidia and one Ati card.I would suggest you buy one 285 and then power the 2 smallest screens of one card and the biggest of the other card.Good luck and happy flying :(

FSX world scaling
In slew mode you can quite accurately judge your altitude and position when you keep those mountains in the upper left corner in sight. But I agree with you that the difference between FSX scenery and the real world is not that much.(well actually my guess is that FSX scenery is about 30 to 50 % too big)It would be nice to get it that little bit more real.

Why does FSX run slower in windowed mode?
I've been told when FSX is maximized by ALT-ENTER it gets exclusive control of the graphics drivers. When it's not maximized like that the desktop is in control of the drivers without full DirectX and you will have a drop in fps.

FSX world scaling
OK those FSXbuildings look way too big.In FSX this is at 3000 ft.I suppose it's impossible to compute tens of 1000's of buildings.

Another Multiple Monitor Question
1) Do your 3 monitors have the same size?2) It's impossible to recreate a 3D world on 2D monitors. Mapmakers have the same problem. (projection of our planet on a flat piece of paper)3) What FS do you have?4) Read this.

Very nice picture of Phoenix! In this context your exact altitude is very important and also the focal length of the camera.

What would cause this?
I wouldn't be to shure of that. For example you can slide your AI-slider up. That would put more load on the CPU wich than will produce less frames.
