Rolling cache has been a pain in the balls for me, I'd fly into an insanely dense area (LA NY etc) and Id get studders like crazy, soon as I turned it off, it was fine .

Do you know why this is the case ?

I got a 4090 about 4 months ago, it’s been the best piece of hardware I’ve ever purchased for my sim. I can get 70fps at KJFK on the 738 and it’s so smooth.

I did that, no luck. I've rebound everything so I guess that’s the fix for me !

Could my issues be related to the recent server issues from Asobo?

Im pretty sure I accidentally entered safe mode. Then I realized it and quickly did an AltF4. When I restarted the sim it asked to update. It seems that the update put everything back into the sim that I previously uninstalled like all of the default livery’s etc. Could the sim be always starting in safe mode and I’m not realizing it ?

I started MSFS and it did an update of like 22G. I made sure it was pointing to my actual install location which it was. I finally load in and all of my camera, graphics, keyboard bindings etc are complete gone. I've disabled all of my addons (addonlinker), signed in and out of xbox, restarted my PC etc and nothing is working. Any ideas on how I should proceed? Regards

So I decided to opt of the next beta because I don’t want to really deal with the bugs etc. Upon opting out MSFS did a full reinstall. I say it went to the install screen but I figured it was just a quick up, I left the room and it reinstalled itself. I booted MSFS up and everything is gone. I use addon linker so all of my stuff is on the fake addon community folder. So what do I do now? How do I tell MSFS to look at my addon linker community folder? Also, seems like MSFS installed in its default location and I always had it on my m.2 drive, can I change the path or any I screwed? cheers

Nah. So much of what they release is it out of date in terms of airport layout etc. Also, they take forever to release any thing including updates to sceneries that have already been released. FSimStudios, verticalsim etc are taking their places in the market and developing great airports and doing them quickly.

FSimstudios will probably be the most update to date and the best looking. Those guys do a really really good job, they update their stuff all the time and they don’t act like word not allowed hats on the support side of things. They’ll get my money.

Windsor CYQG Many commercial flights, two flight schools (one a vibrant flying club). Cargo, AAR maintenance facility, border city, huge, brand new FBO. Lots of private traffic as well.

Im glad to see them doing external models too.
