FS9 HORRIBLE Quality! Help?
Hi Nico, In your options make sure you have "Extended terrain textures" checked, MIP mapping quality set to 4 and "Global max texture size" set to "Massive". Also in your fs9.cfg modify TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS and TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS to read. TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS=4.000000 TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS=4.000000

flat clouds in ASE
Hi, I've been using ASE and REX with FS9 and for the most part I've been quite happy but I have one minor problem. On occasion I will come across an area where the sky is filled with these unrealistic looking 2D clouds from horizon to horizon. Is there anyway to fix this? Here is a screenshot to show you what I mean. (Warning 1920x1080) http://hostthenpost....1c89e4a07d8.jpg EDIT: I forgot to mention I have my 3D Cloud percentage at 100% and my cloud coverage density set to maximum. Thanks, Ryan

Is anticyclone still in business?
Gday,I purchased Active Camera 2004 on the 1st and sent the user registration key to the address provided in the e-mail. It is now the 3rd and I have yet to receive my authorization key, even thought the e-mail I received from simmarket says I should receive the authorization key no later than the next day. Is anticyclone still in business? It's a little bit irritating paying for something and not being able to use it.Thanks.

Hello everyone,I just downloaded Dennis Thompson's Timezone 3.0 (tz30.zip) here from the library and I'm confused on how to install it.Taken directly from the readme: My understanding is you create a new folder in for example C:\FS9\Addon Scenery\Scenery then copy all the files from the .zip into the newly created folder is this correct?thanks

Alternatively if you have Windows Vista/Windows 7 you can either disable Windows Aero or right click on the fs2004 shortcut go to properties, compatibility then tick disable desktop composition.

FS9 crashes during startup
It could be your anti-virus updated unbeknownst to you which in turn is causing fs9 to crash. Did you try running fs9 with your anti-virus temporarily off?

FS9 doesn't shutdown properly
Hey guys,I have the following problem:When I exit out of FS9 via the menu option or the button on the top right corner my system comes to a complete crawl until I restart my computer. When this happened I immediately opened the task manager and I couldn't find anything wrong there was no fs9.exe listed in the processes and both my CPU and Memory usage were normal. What could of caused this?Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bitIntel Core i7 920 @ 2.66GHz6GB Samsung PC3-8500FATI Radeon HD5870 w/ Catalyst 10.12500GB Seagate Barracuda 7,200 RPMFS9.1 + PMDG 747-400/F + FSUIPC 3.9.8 (unregistered)
