Hi Its usually switched on as you leave the runway. The alarm i think you are refrering to is the ''running off battery power alarm'', and its not that, but thanks for the sugestion Tony. Hey Kyle Ok - is that part of fs2crew?... i know AES and GSX gives us those sounds too but i was at Shenyang airport in china, all default :huh:

My last few flights while shutting down at the gate i get an alarm, sounds like the fire bell, but from a distance. Happens after moving the fuel levers to cut-off. Useing fs2crew. Any ideas anyone?

I have read that somewhere too, in that with TML set at 1024, your card has to resize the 4096 texture back to 1024 before its displayed...seems logical that while this is happening you see a skelly plane.

You can resize useing GIMP and as stated, DXTBmp ( both free ) - instructions on how in my link above.

Try assigning buttons rather than an axis. (if only to test the slider isnt malfunctioning ) When useing the mouse, you dont have to make circles like a mad man, just hold left or right click, and if you have '' show cockpit tooltips'' checked in fsx setting, when you hover the mouse over the trim wheel it will also show your trim units. I had your problem...but i cannot for the life of me remember how i sorted it...if i remember ill post back.

simple math... From FL330 33 x 3 = 99... decend 99 miles away from the airport ( based on 1800fpm) @ FL330, you want to be at 3000 at the IAF.. So 33000 - minus final alt ( 3000) = 30000 30 x 3 = 90..decent 90 miles from airport. This is by no means a way of doing it on your theory test but hey, it works!
