  1. Great, thanks! Looking forward to 1.1
  2. Is it just my FO executing Flaps 5 when I ask for Flaps 15? DSP displays "flaps 15" correctly on the green bar so no "misunderstanding" there. Thanks Florin
  3. John is right, FSUIPC is the way to go. 8.1. here Florin
  4. Merry Christmas to you and the whole PMDG team!
  5. Absolutely!
  6. Same here... Just finished a 14 hour+ non stop flight from KLAX to YSSY in the 777, absolutely awesome experience. Frame rate was excellent (high 20s to low 30s), ASN beautifully complemented my REX HD+OD textures running alongside Aivlasoft EFB, FS Captain and REX Latitude, with Ultimate Terrain X, UT2 at 80%, GEX. Upgraded from AS2012 - ASN is definitely a must! Hope this helps someone Florin
  7. I would not go as far as the title suggests  but thanks PMDG!!! It was indeed worth the wait (and I have yet to discover the..."hidden gems") One circuit and a short YYZ to BOS flight: slightly better frame rates compared to the NGX and really smooth Well done PMDG team!
  8. I'd say about 20% better than the NGX so far
  9. "auto break?"... RTO!!! LOL
  10. looks like we're close... I can feel it... LOL... and then the Airbus X Bryan, correct?
  11. Thank you - Merry Christmas to you and yours from Canada!
  12. asymmetric thrust, left engine failed, gear up, emergency procedure: <snip>
  13. We're getting closer then! LOL
  14. You'll love it! Besides the NGX - although it can be flown one hand only as you know, is supposed to be flown by a crew of two - it makes the flow so much easier especially when VATSIM gets really busy.
  15. Great news, take your time we'll be as patient as we... can
  16. I have them both and love them.. That being said, where's our Emergency NGX?! LOL I know I know...
  17. I take that back... Sometimes that works sometimes it doesn't...
  18. Thanks Pete - the only way to close fsx without a crash is to end the flight, switch aircraft to a stock one then exit... I suspect there are more issues than that though...Thanks again
  19. Thanks Pete - much appreciated! I have both the registered version of FSUIPC installed as well the vista uiautomationcore under fsx, no dice :(
  20. No one? Here's an update... Uninstalled everything, cleaned registry then installed a fresh new copy of FSX+SP2, installed the 8900 package, applied SP1c. Ran FSX inbetween each step... The NGX is loading and working fine however it causes a CTD when FSX exits... The message is the same as above. There is no issue with any of the default a/c. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
  21. Hello I've been using the NXG exclusively since it came out - I love it (looking forward to the 777) Here's the issue I am having: new install (fresh, fsx on its on drive OS on new SSD). The add-on seems to be working fine however it crashes fsx at exit. Here is what I get in the event log: Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61472.0, time stamp: 0x475e17d3 Faulting module name: PMDG_737NGX.DLL, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4f5162a3 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000e2603 Faulting process id: 0x6e8 Faulting application start time: 0x01cdc3607e43eacc Faulting application path: D:\fsx\fsx.exe Faulting module path: D:\fsx\GAUGES\PMDG_737NGX.DLL Report Id: cc59b11a-2f55-11e2-be80-002522b209c9 Any words of wisdom? Thanks Florin
