Nah it must be balance too. You can have the best cpu but your video card is the bottleneck not much ofa improvement. With the nvidia inspector tweak, your gpu will take some burden off your cpu. Which is very important

Guys i have the problem with fps last time in fps. I upgraded to gtx770 which is similar to gtx 680 as the author. I only use kotas guide and tabs nvidia. And update your driver to latest beta. just pm me bro love to help you out

Yes the beta driver is some what more stable than the WHQL Heard alot complaining. So i update to beta. So far so good. To play on the safe side use 326.8 as what am using now ( lab rat ) http://www.geforce.com/drivers i using the 326.8 pretty good.

nvidiainspector helps with the graphics too. It take some burden off the cpu and let the gpu to the bad boy stuff instead. Upgrade to a i5 K version and a gtx video card. GTX 760 is good too.

2gb is enough never go beyond that. Buying a superclock acx gtx 770 the next day or the day after tmr Finger cross! The evga gtx 770 sc acx come @ 1111mhz. Heard nothing but good thing for this card. Actually going for msi gaming but after thinking i will buy this card!

Weather cost me 20fps on pmdg 777 even aerosoft can give me max weather at stable 40fps. Pmdg should really see on this.

Processor should be good. I have a i52500k 4.5ghz not complaining at all. A i5 is doing just well. HT wun help you at gaming. Am buying the same gpu as you too in the next few days! From a sandy cpu view, i see no point upgrading the CPU any more in fact his is OC. But dude if your gtx 480 is performing well on FSX and you are upgrading for only FSX you might want to reconsider. I upgrade mine because for the upcoming game. my 7850 barely got me fps60 on LOW on crysis 3 You might want to refer to here http://forum.avsim.net/topic/418202-fps-what-fps-do-you-get/page-11 this guy got the GTX680 which is abit less performance than the GTX770 ( 10~20% ) Their nvidia set up can be found there too. lol i opposite. On air i got bad frame rate compared to ground. Becoz of the weather. No matter how i tried i cant get the smooth weather. I used 2046 texture in cfg. Rex i used non hd clouds. Cloud in fsx is low or medium no difference. Cloud draw is at 90nm My spec is listed at MY PC Even at maximum clouds my ngx run better
