  1. It's such a shame that the project was doomed from day 1 due to not realizing the need for deluxe aircraft after day 1 until it was too late! If they had a deluxe aircraft release after the first basic aircraft then development on flight would still be alive. I just hope that now they open it up so we can get the deluxe DLC aircraft this sim deserved bur that MS management refused to give it. R.I.P flight. Your small number of deluxe aircraft will be sorely missed
  2. Oh boy... your insurance company is going to LOVE(!) this story... :P
  3. sounds like you got caught in the famous turbulence that plagues the downwind side of mountains. Best thing to do is try to get out of the downwind side before you suddenly find yourself experiencing a high-speed lithobraking event... or just avoid the downwind side altogether
  4. I wonder if it is possible to hydroplane in MS flight as shown in this video
  5. Well... looks like I might be returning sooner than intended... Once the cockpit is released I will give flight another shot (W/ alaska scenery of course!)
  6. For me the release of alaska was the last chance I was willing to give it. No cockpits, sloppy airfield placement, no missions, no aerocaches and no proper snow effects have sealed flight's fate to be nothing more than a casual naked money grab from Microsoft. Flight is gone from my computer for good (Well at least until an aircraft with a working VC is delivered which at the current rate will be.... yeah; for good!)
  7. Just like what a real commercial pilot would do!
  8. I finally managed to break mach 1 in the P-51 a couple of weeks ago. Assuming you can get it high enough you should be able to get it to mach 2 (Once you break the sound barrier it becomes much easier to speed up so if you can crack mach 1 you should also be able to get mach 2 if you have enough fuel and/or altitude to do so!)
  9. This is the make or break DLC for flight. If they do not release an aircraft with a working VC with this then flight will be doomed to fail.
  10. I have noticed no new aircraft screenshots yet. Trying to hide that there are no cockpits in this DLC Microsoft?
  11. Vince Offer? At this stage I doubt that even the late Billy Mays can save Flight if the team does not take their head out of the sand and release a "deluxe" aircraft with a fully working VC soon!
  12. Good, but too optimistic. Taking into account recent trends: Free preview will not exist Expansion including only the state and aerocaches will cost $20 Missions to go with the expansion and ONE new VC-less warbird will be sold separately at $30 One useless aircraft with a full VC will be sold separately for $50
  13. I agree 100%. Alaska is my last chance im giving MS Flight. I do have faith in the team, I just dont have any faith in Josh Howard and how he has changed the team. This is the absolute final chance I am giving flight as well. If they do not include a single aircraft with a full working VC at launch then I am done with this casual/arcade "sim" game for good
  14. I would not be surprised if that is how it actually happened while developing Flight
  15. Don't get your hopes up; at this rate M$ is going to release 100% VC-free aircraft with this next scenery package and maybe a couple of missions to make it appear to be worth what they will charge for it in order to rapidly part a fool and their money. It will look good, but then again so do the VC-free warbirds.
