I get artifacts on my screen after I UPGRADED my GPU form a HD6750 to a R9 270X from ASUS. I use just about the same settings and the same fsx.cfg. And ive tried all the fixes people seem to have but nothing worked. I tried changing the sliders in the fsx settings but didnt work. I tried getting rid of the [bUFFERPOOLS] in the cfg file but it still had no effect. I tried using Steve's DX10 Fixer but that also didnt help. These artifacts only happen in DX10 mode and in DX9 its all good. I dont want to run in DX9 because of the really annoying OOM Errors. Anyone with any advice or fixes? I also tried using the RadeonPro app but still didnt help.

So i bought my PC 2 years ago and its time for an upgrade. Im thinking of buying the GTX 760 Superclocked from EVGA. and my current GPU is a Radeon HD6750. Will this upgrade improve my fsx performance significantly?

i fixed the problem. and just for the record i couldnt even start fsx os i couldnt activate it therefore wouldnt let me install SP1 or SP2 or Acceleration

there are 2 disks and yes i have to put them all in for the install. there is a third one, msfs acceleration but that one is optional..its like a dlc...after the install, fsx automatically starts and asks u to activate. but before that i agreed to all terms then it stopped working

I installed it to the C: Drive. The one that has windows on it. And yes i have show all files on.

UAC? and I did that, I reinstalled it and I deleted everything that was left over. Then I reinstalled but its still not working. I checked the System Event Viewer to see what the error was but it wasnt there.

So when I start FSX from either my start menu or in the FSX Root folder as soon as the start screen pops up it says Microsoft Flight Sim Has stopped working. NOte that this is a new freshly installed copy of FSX Gold Edition and its legal i actually payed for it, not a torrent. There are no addons in the FSX root folder but what i did notice is in the, AppData>Roaming>Microsoft>FSX. there are only 3 files. I tried Repairing fsx with the CD but it didnt work. Please help!! The Three Files in the AppData folder are : dll.xml fsx.cfg navlog0 (Chrome HTML)

So what do u mean light on systems? Do u mean its easier to fly? Cuz it isnt..I hate flying the airbus x the fmc is so hard to configure

can someone tell me the diefference between Airbus X and Airbus X Extended? if i have ony Airbus X, can i ge tthe A320/A321 with the sharklets?

so i bought the T7 a while back and ever since then due to my fsx constantly crashing ive had to reinstall multiple times so now im getting max installs exceeded. so can anyone tell me how to fix this

if i remember correctly they will email you a recipt and then another email will give you the download link with the product code so check ur email

exactly... the SP1 is way over due... but the 300ER i do understand it takes time to develop almost a completely new exterior model but the SP1 its just script work... they should of released the SP1 earlier and that would of kept people busy until the 300ER release

No I mean reinsyall the rex textures not the default textures....its not required when switching from dx9 tp dx10 but for somereason it maybe the cause

do you have rex installed? if not then it looks normal depending on what part of the world that is....or what body of water it is.... if you do have rex installed then try re installing ur textures

im not sure, but i doubt it. they already made a tutorial for the 200LR so i dont think theyd waste time on one for the 300ER cuz they are already running late on release.
