In the FMC, although I cannot set the course when I have a flight plan open in FSX as it only goes up in increments of 10. I haven't got any help on this either

Anyone have a clue how to set up and execute an ILS approach with LOC and GS for this bird? I see the NAV1 and CRS selectors but they dont engage the LOC and GS at all, any help would be appreciated greatly. Ross

Yeah it does, like everyone else who seems to poke their head in round these parts I'm just desperate for the 777. The 747 will keep me going for a bit but for me and I assume for others as well their minds will be drifting a little . Ross Coveney

Gave up on patience and stumped up for the 747 instead of the NGX having not had a PMDG product before. I was going to wait until the 777 and then the 747 V2 although I decided that the predictions were just that predictions and I could be waiting until next summer until I fly the T7 yet alone the V2, and no that's not when I think it will be but it could in some scenario not come out until then. I am most definitely going to get the T7 and I'm pretty sure I'll upgrade my 747 at some stage too so buying the 747 as a stop gap doesn't bother me too much. At the time of purchasing the 747 about a week ago I decided to go with it instead of the NGX purely because not only do I like long-haul but it was my introduction to PMDG and it's status among some as a "relic" would help me prepare. As with the T7 and V2 I will almost certainly buy the NGX, maybe next week to mix up with flights in the Queen now I know her well enough. Ross Coveney

Can't wait until Heathrow V3 and Exeter are released next year. With Bristol and Exeter I'll have all of the major airports based near me that are still open. Plymouth :(

Having lived in Devon for my whole life I can vouch that this is actually pretty damn accurate, the weather that is. I haven't had the chance to get Orbx EU yet to look at the scenery. If it was yesterday you were flying you would have had some real fun seemed like gale force winds down on the ground.

Is there any decent freeware 744's out there to keep me entertained?

Thing is that due to PMDG toiling with us that people don't have a clue when the V2 will be arriving, means I'm stuck between thinking it could be round the corner to a year away. The bigger issue is how people think differently on the release schedule as some say it will be months after the T7 with others saying it will be almost straight away. I'm gagging to fly a complex 747 but I also don't want to buy the 747X and then a dew days later look like a fool when PMDG release the V2.

Thinking I might just get the current version , it seems well priced and there will be plenty to keep me entertained until I find the money for either the 777 or V2.

Read somewhere that people thought that the V2 would be out within weeks of the 777? Also compared to today's price of $54.99 which is around £34 how much would you expect the V2 to differ in price?

I'm in a similar situation, if the V2 is coming in a week to a month I can wait but I'm not sure if I can wait until the new year and I'm expecting that the price of the V2 could be double the current price. Anyone got any advice?

While this topic is being talked about again anyone know anything about my problem with the crs selector within the FMC, it only goes up and down in increments of 10, is there a way to fix this and is there an other way to set the crs? thanks, ross

After a little more looking around I have found out that I can change the course to whatever I like without a flightplan loaded although with one loaded then I can only work in increments of 10.

Hiya guys wondering if you could help me with the Aerosim 787. In the FMC when I use either the mouse clicking or the scroll wheel to try and change the course selection it only goes up and down in increments of 10 like 100,110,120. I have tried everything including re installing with no luck. Am I being stupid or can anyone help me on this. Thanks a lot
