I discovered part of my answer. It is used with the Hong Kong Government livery that can be downloaded from PMDG. However, I am still not sure of how to make it work with the paint kit. I should also have mentioned that it was supposed to be an option according .readme file with it. It stated to turn it on or off in the layers if needed but it is not there. Oh well thanks for the reply

I recently downloaded the repaint kit for the JS41 and it states something on the instructions about a radome being included on the fuselage template I case the livery had one. When I open the JS41 in a model viewer it shows a large black pod on the bottom of the air craft along with a FLIR pod on t he nose. In FSX this is not visible. How do I enable it and paint it? I will post a picture soon

I want to create a paint for my A2A that is green with a gold metallic flake in it. (Gold glitter in green paint). How do I do this using photoshop. I know how to us the alpha channels for shine and dullness and spec sheets for color reflection

I recently started doing some repainting in FSX. I am getting the hang of using layers and photoshop and texture conversions but I am having a problem with getting my textures to align from panel to panel. For example, I am trying repaint the Aerosoft DA20 Katana 4x to match the actual aircraft I There is a green stripe from the nose to the tail. On the paint kit, the nose is 3 different pieces and then there is the body and then down to the tail and rudder. They are not all one piece. Since the texture is a 2D object that is going to spread over a 3D model, drawing a straight line does not transform into a straight line in FSX and all the pieces do not match the line up correctly to make the stripe look like a solid stripe. I have seen posts for FSRepaint and its demo version, however I can not locate the demo. I found a link for a trial version, received a password and user name, but the .exe no longer exists. I have seen some paint kits that have the entire side of a aircraft that you do your design on, then it is just a matter of overlapping the section onto the texture page. How do I do this?

The issues with the autopilot have been discussed under the known Bugs topic. One of the issues the FD button missing from the KFC225 Autopilot. On of the posts stats that this AP in real life did not come equipped with a FD. I thought this odd so I went to BendixKing and downloaded the manual. It does come equipped with a FD. I started a support ticket because when I first purchased this product the FD did not work. After several days I have heard nothing on the support ticket. For those new comers who want a FD the solution is simple. Scroll through the .CFG until you find the equipment list or search Flight Director. You will find flightdirector=0. Just change it to 1. This will enable it. The button in the VC is missing but will illuminate when any button is pressed. It is even clickable, just can not see it. Your cursor will turn to a hand over it.

Ya I can get the radios to remove but the 3d knobs remain and the GPS does not show up in the VC. It is working great in the baren fyi. Thanks for your help

How Do I add this gauge to other aircraft? I have the Carenado 172N on floats and it has the old school radios. Is there away that I can remove those radios from the panel.cfg and add the RXP530 to it?

I can not get the RXP GPS to work in this aircraft. The 2d pop up and VC 3d are both covered with a multicolor graphic with the RXP Logo over it and I can not get it to turn on and the click spots are not recognized. This is the only aircraft this happens on

It is my understanding that the coding to get the gauges to sink up has been the issue. The Maddog MD88 I think is the only add on aircraft that supports cockpit sharing. With Magestic Dash8, it uses a external flight engine so they are able to break away from FSX to sync the gauges. I can barely turn my computer on without tech support so I could be completely wrong. It would be nice to have cockpit share. Especially with the T7 and 747 v2 since it has very long routes. I also do recall reading almost two years ago that they were looking into cockpit share for the V2 747. However this was long before the T7 was out and the 747v2 was still in the beginning so they may have relaized that cockpit share is not feasible at the time.

I have installed Microsoft Acceleration version 10.0.61637.0 and the Microsoft Acceleration SDK version 10.0.61637.0 on my computer. I am able to use Airport Design Editor without a problem and I installed the SKDs according to all the installation guides online. I have FSX running on my i drive and the sdk is on the c drive I am not sure if that is causing an issue. I however do not have the tools menu displayed. I have done all the suggested items i could find on the forums and it is not working for me.

Apparently this FSGen reached out to Froogle and his followers on facebook saying that he could for a fee do remote access and tweak peoples CFG files. Froogle states that a lot of people did this and were very happy. (Froogle answers a lot of questions but will not do tech support) Then after some time FSGen started building custom PCs for flight sim and I guess A LOT of people paid the thousands for the computers and never received them. He came up with excuse after excuse including that the shipping company could not find the address. The phone number for the shipping company traced back to a brother in law or something.

I wish that FSX had a cold and dark start up option like a lot of add on aircraft due. Some people claim that it is a time killer and takes to long but once you learn the flows it only takes a few minutes longer than it really does for CTRL-E to do. The really good add ons also have amazing sounds to hear the engines spool to life. ( our catch fire if you overheat it)

Search a video on youtube by a gentleman name Frooglesim. The video is called buyer Beware. I think you maybe a part of this. Froogle does not come out and call FSGenesis a scam artist but does call for this guy to explain himself. As far as I know he has not.

Ya it is selected. Door opens on all other aircraft. Just not this one. After installing it worked for three flights..I uninstalled and reinstalled and it seemed to fix but only for two flights.
