GSX: a must-have for the PMDG 777?
I've never regretted my purchase of GSX, the pushback is perfect, I also love the loading feature, I know its eye candy but for me it adds to my immersion as I only really fly cargo. I agree that the marshal could be better but for the following: 1. Follow me Truck to the Gate 2. Push Back 3. Interaction with the ground services. That's just my take and what I get out of it, I set the cargo to load whilst I'm running through all of my documentation, CDU set up and all that preflight Jazz.

Your First 300ER Flight
I'm thinking of doing a KPAE - OMDB as a 'Delivery Flight'. I'm not sure why but whenever I purchase a new boeing aircraft, I fly from KPAE to whichever airport I plan to fly from. After arriving at OMDB, I will most likely head towards ESSA.

Left Gen Issues
I looked in engine failures there were none, but then I realized that this was electrical, so I cleared all failures... I now feel like an idiot. Thanks a lot, the frieghter now works and roaring like a beast, I will try the pax version just to double check. EDIT: Everything works as it should as far as I can tell now. All of this due to looking in the wrong failures section -_-

Left Gen Issues
Hi, I recently upgraded my hardware (New Mobo and CPU) and it seems since then I have been having issues with the 777 regarding the left engine. It seems that it is unable to get any power output from it what so ever. I believe I've read all the documentation correctly for the start up (Tried Cold and Dark Panel State, Short and Long) But I always seem to get the same issue. After looking into the planes systems I found out why my Left Engine wasn't working properly and it seems that its just not getting the power it needs, unlike the right, which is running fine. The overhead panel looks like this: Something is definitely wrong with the left engine, is it possible that its due to my hardware upgrade? (I was able to reactivate the aircraft without an issue due to it asking for my key again after the hardware upgrade). I'm really scratching my brain here, has anyone else experienced this? Am I doing something obviously wrong? Regards.

06MAY14 - PMDG 777 SP1/300ER Updates
Great News I'm unfamiliar with the way you guys do the Service Packs, will I need to 'reactivate' on update? I've used my license twice (Hardware Upgrade asked for the key again). Will I need to remove the key using the FMC or will the Ops Centre handle it all?

Upgrading to the i7 4770K
liamgiles replied to liamgiles's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcThat soon? I don't really pay attention to hardware cycles, just tend to buy what is good at the time I'm looking I'll try and read up and see if its worth waiting. It seems though that the Broadwell changes aren't huge as there is no architecture changes.

Upgrading to the i7 4770K
liamgiles replied to liamgiles's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcNot much price difference between the both, so I'm gonna go for the 4770k if I upgrade, I just wanted to know if there will be a performance increase or would I be wasting my money on it.

Upgrading to the i7 4770K
My current system specs are as followed: OS: Windows 8.1 CPU AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.40GHz MEMORY 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 TI SSC I'm under an ongoing upgrade and I'm replacing the CPU next and the GPU following that. I am thinking of getting the new i7 4770K along with the h100 cooler from Corsair (planning to do some slight OCing). Will I notice much of a performance increase in FSX/P3D and X-Plane with swapping these processors alone?

Problems... Problems... Problems...
All 'issues' that I have come across were actually my fault, not the T7.
- Win 8
- PMDG 777 windows 8 x 64

PMDG ... you HAVE to fix this product!
I think these are #1 priority for sp1

Is the 777 really "better" than the NGX?
I find these type of questions really silly. You can't really compare two different simulations of two different aircraft.

Overall Opinion of PMDG 777
I'm halfway there xD, atm I'm flying it for personal use

Please read the manual
Agreed, the manuals are such high quality, a great deal of information in them.
