Your First 300ER Flight

Featured Replies

What will be your first PMDG 300ER flight?

I'm thinking a short test flight NZWN - NZAA to feel things out followed by a long haul NZAA - KLAX.

Good question.  Probably ACA  CYYZ to CYVR followed by CYYZ - CDG both of which I have flown RW in the 300ER.

Good question. I think one or two short testflights from Athen to Istanbul or something to get familiar to the aircraft.

I am current in Brazil doing some domestic in the NGX after a EGLL-SBGR so my first flight will be SBGR-OMDB-EKCH and it will end my first world tour 777 -2014.

Next worldtour will go westbound around the world.

Which ever destination of Emirates has some extreme weather at that time!

I have this flight on Thursday morning on a 787 Dreamliner. 9 hour flight! Can't wait.

I`m actually more excited about going on the plane than my holiday! :)

As always when getting a new Aircraft, some testflights around KPAE, then KPAE to LOWW to bring it home.

I assume that is only with Boeing and you do the same at Toulouse and Downsview for Airbus and Bombardier.

FACT to OMDB followed by OMDB to EGLL ... I've noticed that I don't really do many 777 flights not in the Emirates colours. Damn high quality FlyTampa Dubai scenery.

Probably a KLAX-YSSY flight.

I was actually venting (read as "whining petulantly") to Ryan the other day about not having a 200ER.  My dad just flew an epic journey from here (DC) to Sydney and around Asia in general for work.  Most of the flights were 200ERs and I'm too obsessive compulsive to fly the 200LR in fictional colors, or on a route that an airline doesn't use it.  At least with the 300ER, there are real airlines that use it on the route pairs he flew.

KLAX-YSSY in VOZ colors?  Yep.

In my case that would be EHAM.

VABB - OMDB - its a real 300ER route of both Emirates and Air India

A firm landing in the TDZ is a good one, a smooth landing outside the TDZ is bad. A smooth touchdown is NOT the criterion for a safe landing
