  1. More detail added on Manfred/Jahn C-47 model. "Monty's C-47 (1948)"
  2. Always interested in new tech and what it can bring in the gaming world, so was excited about Ryzen and Vega GPU's forth coming. Haven't simming in quite awhile, but while learning the ropes of Photoshop, that keeps me interested some what in keeping a FSX-SE copy on the hdd for testing purposes just to see work done. Now maybe when P3Dv4 with PBR, I might get into the game again. The reason I started getting into Photoshop and impressive model skills used in this game. http://live.warthunder.com/user/Vauchez/
  3. A few markings... recognize the bird? Working my way thru the use of Photoshop.
  4. Well with so much good food Old Yeller is getting, I think it will have a longer life than it's expected!
  5. @ Chock Yep that's the plan, certain elements, dents, dirt, and oil stains are not done as this still a "wip". One item I don't do on the bumps is invert the green channel, not necessary. Good sources: http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=49609&start=90 Basically the same but pics only: http://s225.photobucket.com/user/flightsimer/media/Air Heritage/C-47 43-48716/IMG_1795_zps69e051d2.jpg.html Love how Vauchez does his work... One of his finished paints...

  12. @Donkerg Looks like the ground textures didn't get loaded properly. Might have to reinstall that airport once again. Best to follow netshadoe or MauB advise. Looking at screenshots of that airport looks to be pretty good.
  13. Don't think he can fly that aircraft in X-plane 11.
  14. Running an AMD system myself with FSX-SE, although a bit old now. Awaiting the AMD Ryzen processor and Vega cards reviews later on next year to make a decision.
  15. I just want VR to mature a little bit more before I make the plunge! I don't carry a cell phone myself... don't need one.
  16. At 1.344 volts and running at 5.0 GHZ temps were at 90ºC. When Benchmarker RichUK delidded a Core i7 7700K, temps reached 66º. Got this info from http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/delidded-core-i7-7700k-runs-26-degrees-c-cooler.html Ryzen will be interesting CPU! If this is true... http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/amd-announces-ryzen-8-core-processor.html

  20. PayPal is my preferred option, so no more Orbx purchases.
  21. My 68 Mustang Fastback with all the racing goodies! I miss those 60's and early 70's muscle cars and hanging out with the boys that owned them.
