  1. Then there are many of us who owe a thanks to the people who helped keep it alive. Seems I was confused with year goal / running costs. Thanks for explaining Jim.
  2. My rig that i use to use for developing gauges ( for myself, not commercial) died a nasty death, along with everything else.. Would someone be so kind to point me to where i can find the listing of ...is it, failure tags?, look like this : <Failures> <SYSTEM_ELECTRICAL_PANELS Action="0" /> </Failures> Somewhere online ( I've check fs developer wiki, but i don't think i'm searching the correct wording as i cant find nothing) there is a page that list all of them. Regards
  3. The plane Morphed into something else! 🙂 I like the exhaust heat effects.
  4. Hi again 👋🏻😄 try this https://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=Rotorcraft-Auto-Pilot.zip&x=7&y=13 This is an update file link just under the video. http://www.dirkfassbender.de/autopilot.html ull have to see if that update is for that autopilot... that the only thing I can find regarding dirk’s AP. the rest is dead links
  5. Out of interest... if you install into program files and you try change the cfg file or add a paint, needing to modify the aircraft config..will it accept the changes and save the file, in its original location, within the program files...or does it start asking you where you would like to save the modified version on the file, outside of the program files? results as admin :? results as non admin:?
  6. Thanks for the explanation / tips guys.
  7. Why is there a great big fs2002 2d radio panel in the virtual cockpit??? it looks flat. 1:14 in the video.
  8. I know Charlie. But if i was running a forum, that costs as much as that, i would expect to be able to get a little storage for that, to be able to allow my users to upload images. Having to do it offsite is a pain. Like i said i don't know a great deal about it, but i know that's a large price tag! regards
  9. Next time it happens..or rather next time you fly...does it 'unlock' after 8 mins or so? There is a crash to desktop guide here, have a search for it.
  10. LOL!! Yeh, made me feel like that too! its hard mentally, and very exhausting But the relief / sense of achievement when you test it and it all works...great stuff. Don't rush, double check every line after you have typed it for errors, a space in the wrong place ect.Trying to find them when the LUA / XML gets long is another mind bender, lol Wish you good luck.
  11. I don't know a great deal about this stuff, but it says here that it costs $36,000 to maintain avsim. 30 - 6 - Thousand - dollars....!! and yet... can't upload at small .JPG file.... um, Really? that's hard to comprehend.
  12. What you say is possible, but good lord, not for newbie. i just spent 3 days making a light blink via lua 😄 got it in the end though. to tech yourself I’d suggest places like fsDelveloper website. And fsdeveloper wiki site. Also look at other gauge xml files to give you an idea of how it all ties together. 1 thing I picked up on that sticks for some reason..... When writing lua, if you get an error saying “<eof> expected character near end”, (or words to that effect) you have to many end sections in your code. The way it’s written can be misleading. I thought there wasn’t enough end sections. some stuff on variables http://www.fs2x.com/Tutorials_files/XML Gauge Programming for FS2004. Chapter 3. Variables V3_0.pdf Some “Rotation” xml examples....for needles and other things that you want to rotate...knobs ect.. https://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/rotating-knob.430889/
  13. Haven’t seen a single thing about this since it was announced ....a year ago?...nothing, apart from dry boring text. is there really not a single screen shot or anything at all to prove it actually exists? you may recall Kyle, in a previous conversation, “that it’s ready, when it’s ready” doesn’t cut it anymore in the fast paced world we live in now. people wanna know, if you don’t inform your quickly kicked to the kirb. been waiting a year to see something, but nothing. getting bored now.
  14. Are you right clicking the Fsx installer and selecting run as admin? Do you have your user account set up as admin? also, avoid installing Fsx in c:\programe files. Install into, for example, c:\FSX. disk clean, not scratch?
  15. Is there a backup panel.cfg anywhere? I don’t use it. Nor do I know if you manually inserted it into the panel. if it was installed into the panel by an installer, hopefully there’s a backup somewhere within its files.
  16. Life is short. Buy both. 🙂 Doesnt a 9900k run alot hotter than a 9700k?? (at same O/C speed) My 9700k is @ 4.9 on all 8 cores, cooled by H115Pro, max temp mid 70's (fans in quiet mode)
  17. Try copy paste the serial number making sure not to add a space before or after it.
  18. ohhh OK, yes, now i see what Krakin was saying. Although i disagree that at any point in time did A2A or realair look cartoonish.
  19. Um, don’t think so. Oh, so now all of a sudden, a new sim is announced, and the best in the business is now cartoon looking....yeh right.
