  1. I agree completely. I got the v2.0 upgrade and it cost me 5.50 euro, and it is well worth it in my opinion. I'm more than happy to support them with the small upgrade fees for updating these scenery's with PBR.
  2. Thanks for the tip, i'll take a look over there...
  3. For anybody who is using the Cielosim KJAX scenery in P3D v4.x, I created a custom GSX Level 2 configuration that replaces the bland default CTRL+J jetways with GSX SODE jetways. The jetways have gate numbers, airline logo's on the jetway tunnel, and ground markings with grease and oil stains. The jetways at the real KJAX don't have logo's or ground markings, but I think these kind of spice things up at the airport, and the SODE jetways themselves are a big improvement over the default ctrl+j ones. I'll be happy to share it if anyone wants a copy of this custom GSX config for Cielosim KJAX, just PM me. I also have custom GSX L2 SODE jetway configs for the following RFSB airport's...... KOKC Oklahoma City, LIMF Turin Caselle, LIPZ Venice Mrco Polo, and LJLJ Ljubljana Slovenia.
  4. Good gawd... you can see the curvature of the earth from up there... 🤣 The pilot would have long since died of hypoxia and/or hypothermia, and that lawnmower engine would have gasped it's last breath tens of thousands of feet below... Seriously, it looks like the view from the cockpit of an SR-71..
  5. Nvm... Got it figured out..😃
  6. That's good news, i'm definitely interested in the F100.
  7. Exactly what I was thinking... I'm not looking for subtle nuances in ATC voice accents here... Just some variety that would cover most of the major/busiest airport hubs and denser ATC sectors around the world.... I know, that's probably not exactly the easiest task from a developer's point of view, but I agree... I don't think we need 85 or 100+ distinctly different voice "accents" to improve things to a level that would suit most people. Don't get me wrong, i'm as American as apple pie, but always hearing that monotone American sounding ATC voice in many of the places I like to fly in the UK and mainland Europe etc. just doesn't add a lot to the immersion/realism side of things. But I get it, it's a simulation, not real life, and compromises are just a reality that we have to accept, I was just throwing this out there as something that might add another level of immersion for the future.
  8. Not to hijack your thread Pete, but the Justsim EVRA is really very nice as Rafal said, I think you'll enjoy it. It's one of my favorites for flying the Air Baltic routes in the iFly 737, Q400, and the and the new A220.
  9. Not sure it would be worth the effort to a developer, but maybe someone could make an add on "voice pack" that would replace the default ATC voices with ones that reflect more accurately what would likely be heard around the world. I would certainly be in for something like that, provided the price was not totally outrageous. For me, it would add to the immersion factor considerably. Probably a somewhat daunting task, but they wouldn't need to do every single accent that might be heard on ATC around the world, just the major ones, I mean a russian accent would cover a huge area just by itself, and a couple variations of an Asian accent would also cover large areas, and a Spanish accent would cover vast areas as well. Just a thought..
  10. I know the default ATC leaves a lot to be desired, but does anyone ever tire of the drab monotone American sounding accent that you hear no matter what part of the world you are flying in..?? I just thought it might be kind of interesting if the ATC voices could be accented so they would more accurately represent the country or region you are flying in, for example, German sounding voices for Germany, British, Scottish, or Irish for the UK, Spanish for Spanish speaking countries etc. etc. Maybe it's a longshot, but I just thought it might be nice to have in a future release.
  11. Just noticed... The RFScenery doesn't have animated jetway's. That's a deal breaker for me. I'm going to pass on the FSDT and just wait for the Aerosoft version.
  12. I've been considering the RFScenery Building LSGG, it looks to be very nice, and it's currently on sale at Simmarket for 14.80 Euro (about $17 USD). It got great reviews also. I would be curious to hear other comments about this scenery before I pull the trigger...
  13. I'll add my "no issues here" report...
  14. Thanks, Yes, I tried searching "Aguilar" but came up empty..😀 The air baltic Latvian flag livery looks nice, i'll get this soon... BTW, my Vcol A220 came with no GSX config file, strange... Could you possibly share that with me..? I know you say it's terrible, but i'd still like to experiment with it. Thanks.
  15. What repaints (aside from Swiss), and where did you find these...??
  16. Better yet get a 1tb SSD, I have the WD Blue 1tb SATA III M.2 SSD, it's very fast, and the difference in price between it and the 500 gb model is only about $50-60 USD. There may even be cheaper models around, but Western Digital has a good reputation for reliability. And as Mace said, run P3D from the SSD, load times are much faster..
  17. What would have been really funny is if no one had even noticed it....😁
  18. While i'm not losing any sleep over it, I still don't think it was particularly humorous....😴 Someone obviously put some time and effort in to this spoof, and if they were expecting it to be greeted with widespread guffaws of hearty laughter, I guess they'll be disappointed to find that most people were like...Uh.. ok, whatever...😏
  19. What makes you so sure..?? I'm just curious....
  20. That makes sense, thanks for sharing that.
  21. I saw this just today, and it looks very nice, and appears to be up to the usual Flightbeam standards, but i'm a little puzzled why they picked Wellington of all places, it's not even the largest airport in NZ, actually it comes in at #3, and i'm curious why they didn't do Auckland instead...?? I love the Flightbeam scenery's and I have all of them, but i'll probably pass on this one, as I don't do much flying in NZ anyway.
  22. 32" QHD monitor here, and I honestly can't imagine using anything much smaller. I'm running P3D v4.4 @ 2560x1440 resolution, and the image quality is outstanding to my eyes. I briefly tried a 32" Ben Q UHD 4K monitor @ 3840x2160, but I found that it dragged down performance just a little too much in high demand scenery environments, and while the image quality was excellent, I didn't find it to be worth the trade off in performance versus image quality versus my 32" UHD monitor. I guess in the end, it all boils down to what your budget allows, what your personal preferences are, and physical space limitations.
  23. Seems legit enough, at least on the surface... Guess we'll have to wait and see.
