I just edited the Toolbar.css, I now only get the icon if I pass the cursor over it.

Is your drive FAT or NTFS? I believe it needs to be NTFS, a few people have reported similar problems and changing to NTFS cured it for them.

Stable Nvidia Driver for SU5 456.71

Just tried 456.71 (using DDU to uninstall previous driver) and still got a CTD, thanks for the suggestion though. -
Chicago Landmarks (Drzewiecki) and Meigs
andym001 replied to edpatino's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
FYI, you can takeoff 'out of area' and fly over Chicago Landmarks without issue, and sometimes I've been able to land without the CTD if I don't select the one of the Chicago airports in the route planner. Hopefully they will fix the issues soon because the addon is worth buying, and I believe Guillermo may be working on a version of his MEIG's that can be used with the Landmarks scenery. -
Nvidia Drivers 461.09 (7th Jan 2021) Observations.

Thank you. I have an 8700k and RTX2080ti pc with a 4K TV and was running MSFS at 1440p at 100% render scaling. Since seeing your post I tried 4K at 70% render scaling ... WOW, what a difference, it's night and day. Departed from FlyTampa's Las Vegas and I'm getting mid to high 30's FPS inside the A32NX, and mid 50's outside, not far off what I was getting at 1440p, but the clarity is so much better. Still more testing to do but pretty sure I'm going to stick with 4K. -

I also get CTD's when starting from the runways. -
Chicago Landmarks (Drzewiecki) and Meigs

Yes, I appreciate what you are saying, and I know a lot of work goes in to these addons, but if the guy asking fly's a lot around the Chicago area, and wants to start at Meig's, ORD, or MDW, then with the Landmarks scenery installed he will get CTD's. I bought the scenery but have had to uninstall it so that I can takeoff from airports in the Chicago area. -
Chicago Landmarks (Drzewiecki) and Meigs
andym001 replied to edpatino's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I've got the Chicago Landmarks and FSDT Chicago, it's the Drzewiecki addon causing the CTD issues. I've tried to spawn at KORD with the default airport and the FSDT airport and still get a CTD, without the Drzewiecki addon installed no CTD's. CTD's also happen for me at Meigs and MDW with the addon installed. Drzewiecki are aware of the issue and are trying to fix it. You also get a scenery glitch near Meig's with the Drzewiecki addon installed which was introduced with the last MSFS patch apparently. If you head over to their website to the forums you can see a couple of pictures people have posted. Personally, I'd hold off buying the addon until they fix the issues. -
PMDG Operations Center did not install with NGX

This is exactly what I had and did, it only worked after I copied the Op folder to another drive, away from the boot drive, and run the updater. Andy Marrs -
PMDG Operations Center did not install with NGX
andym001 replied to allisnotwells's topic in PMDG General Forum
I had the same problem with the 777. I had to copy the Operations Center directory out of the C drive (boot drive) to another drive, run the Operations Center updater with admin rights which updated itself and downloaded all the files. I then copied it back to the C drive original location, finally managed to get it to install and update itself, but would not update the aircraft, finally fixed after I contacted PMDG, they suggested .... 1. Go to Control Panel/Internet Options, then the Advanced tab. Scroll down to the very bottom of the list of settings. 2. Ensure that Use TLS 1.2 is selected on (which was), and all the others are selected OFF. I deselected the others, and it connected and worked for me. Andy Marrs -

Unable to install update to PMDG Operations Center
andym001 replied to PaulFWatts's topic in PMDG General Forum
I have the same problem, except I don't have the operations center at all, although I do have the updater. Tried a complete uninstall, and fresh install of everything on Windows 7 (did this twice), tried disabling AV and Firewall, and I don't even have the "C:\Users\<your account name>\AppData\Roaming\PMDG Operations Center" folder. I created it manually, still nothing. Andy Marrs -
.87 is MMO, anything above this is logged as an overspeed, and anything above .92 will require conditonal inspections in the real world.
