Doubt it. They'd let us know in the forums if it was. Interesting though, FSX pages for these products went up Feb 23rd. Today we get the P3D pages. I know initially the plan was to release them pretty much at the same time, but then Mr. Randazzo kindly informed us of some breakdown in communication between LM and P3D that was potentially holding up the latter's progress. Wonder if the 2 weeks in between product pages are representative of the release order. Of course this is only my own speculation and we'll have to wait and see! My P3D 2.4 awaits! Hey best of luck with whatever it may be Kyle. I know the feeling. Went through that recently both in my career and personal life. Waiting is never easy. Hoping the results are worth it for you! Question about the V2 if I may. Being an enthusiastic simmer with a RW position on the other end of the Mic I've been afforded a few opportunities to sit in the flight deck of various aircraft (PMDG nailed the atmosphere of the T7 by the way - from what I could tell after about 10 mins in the real thing...). I was wondering if you could share with us if we'll be able to see (tips of) the wings and nose of the aircraft from inside the flight deck. I understand it may not be possible due to limitations or even if you can't see them from the real thing therefore unrealistic. Just curious. Obviously the aircraft isn't complete yet so such decisions may not even have been made but anything you could share would be appreciated. Thanks and my advice for the waiting process is to just keep busy

Kyle (and everyone), if you're running through flytampa products, don't forget CYUL! Perfect compliment to CYYZ for short hops in all kinds of aircraft! I'd also like to chime in with EKCH. Amazing airport. Tom, aerosoft Rome is one that's been on my radar since they first announced it. Any remarks you'd like to share? Especially regarding performance and VAS? My VA recently updated their schedules to include a 3x weekly flight there from EGLL with the 77L. I'd very much like to try it out with PMDG's beautiful bird. FSDreamTeam Geneva also gets a big thumbs up from me. Mostly because of the beautiful surrounding mountains. It's just a gorgeous place to fly into/out of. Oh and Aerosoft Nice for the same reasons. Hey Nick, Yeah from an external vantage there's a whole Lotta nose in front of the flight deck but it was cool to see just how much of it is visible in that video. I asked because my second default view in ezdok for every aircraft is kinda like a dash cam perspective much like in the clip. I love to just watch the scenery go by after the Autopilot's in and my flows are complete. It's crazy to think in the 74' there's passengers seated below you and a bit of cabin in front. When the T7 was in beta, I was sure I'd never be so anxious for another addon in flight Sim. I've flown that virtual aircraft all over the world now. Then they had to go and release screenshots of the 747V2. Now I'm refreshing the forums every day all over again...

Speaking of (and this is more a question to satisfy personal curiosity), How much of the nose can one see from the flight deck? I mean if one were to lean over the glareshield, it looks like the nose extends quite a bit further in front of the flight deck windscreen. Then again, it could be too steeply raked to see anything besides the nose-cone. Can't tell from this picture how much of that will be modeled. Any real world 747 mtc or pilots around? I'm just curious.

This isn't insider information, but an educated guess. They've said in the past that they're not in the habit of eliminating features. So since the 777 has it, you can bet the 747v2 will have it! You know, I was all ready to type out my guess that it would be a -400 base package with an -8 expansion, much like the 777. But the more I think about it, the more it could go either way. Guess we'll have to wait and see B)

Thank you for the update Robert! The shots look amazing. Massive respect to the team involved. I can't fathom how you keep creating more and more detailed products with ever better performance numbers. You're all basically wizards to me. Have you heard back from LM concerning their updates for P3D to help compatibility? Just hoping our version isn't too far behind the FSX product. I'm perfectly content to wait it out, but if it's only a problem with P3DV3, my install of V2.4 anxiously awaits!

*nervously glancing over at installed V2.4* I sympathise with the dilemma of having small bugs falsely being attributed to your software. But hopefully those of us still on older versions of P3D won't have to wait for issues to be resolved in the V3 candidate. Please? Thanks for all your hard work guys and girls. Thank you for the update! I'm sure you're inundated with work as it is but as you may be able to tell it means a lot to us. Also great to hear you're still supporting us P3D V2 users (I've got 2.4 exactly where I want it and if it ain't broke...) Looking forward to the Queen update

Guys, I found a workaround! Load up the T7, push back from the gate (stay in the flight deck view), start up the engines then quickly shut them back down and start them up again. This simulates having 4 engines to start up, just like the 747. Voilà! No more waiting. You're welcome.

Hey Nick, I also had this problem a while back. As Eric mentioned FSUIPC may be the issue but as I didn't have the registered version I had ruled it out. If I recall correctly for me it had to do with sound drivers. Something to do with updating my motherboard drivers and disabling the Nvidia sound driver and wiping it from my system. Sorry I can't be of more help. You didn't waste any money and this is a problem that can be solved. Best of luck to you! Darren Klenk

Hey, we're all in this hobby together and the community has given me so much over the years it feels great to finally solve someone else's issue! To be honest I was ready to do a complete reinstall of the NGX but ran out of time before work. Scrolled through some other PMDG posts on my lunch break and found someone else asking the same question (think it was in the NGX SP1D AND P3D release topic). I'm not sure if you've checked but I had the same problem until I read another post that some of the NGX liveries start with Boeing in the aircraft menu, so I scrolled up a bit and found they were all indeed there. Cheers, Darren Klenk
